Not five minutes into pulling over, a very generous woman who looked to be in her mid-twenties, wearing glasses, and was driving a dope blue car which I believe was a Toyota FJ60/62 (?) Either way, she dropped her dog off and told us if we were still there she would help us out. She came back just a few minutes later and picked us up and brought us to the O'Reilly just a few minutes away. We told her about this being the second time this has happened and she gave us great advice about our beater of a Ford Escape and how we should get a diagnostic test, check our oil dipstick a lot more frequently than we currently do, and to possibly check if our coolant had a leakage. Before she dropped us off, she told us how her father runs Expedition Autoworks and that it would be worth checking out. I've never once heard of this place as I don't live near the area, but the next time I need car maintenance I will absolutely check out Expedition Autoworks knowing the kindness that woman showed me and my boyfriend today. I wish I would've caught her name, but knowing that there's family of the person who helped us today, I will definitely make the drive and take my business to Expedition Autoworks.

My beloved Prius was brutalized in this fashion. Precision Tune Auto Care repaired mine with quick turnaround for just under $2,000 (took a couple days because of a shortage of parts). Other shops and dealerships all quoted well above that. The folks here care and are honest. You can tell that immediately just by talking to them on the phone, especially Rob, the manager. Rob listened intently, offered suggestions and gave me great insight about the insurance process. He walked me through the whole thing and genuinely sympathized. Other places I called were more mercenary, and either unwilling to give me an estimate over the phone, or gave me a wildly inflated estimate. Also, I bought a piece of protective hardware (basically a metal shield called Cat Security by Cap City Muffler) to protect my catalytic converter from future theft. Most other repair shops refused to even consider installing this for me (I'm not sure why), but Precision Tune happily did so, putting my mind at ease. Throughout the process, everyone I spoke with at the shop was great (Bill comes to mind, but there was one other gentleman, in addition to Rob the manager). They all knew the status of my car immediately, and were just decent, reliable people in a really tough time (all this happened during the COVID-19 pandemic, no less). In the end, my car is good as new thanks to this shop. I highly recommend Precision Tune Auto for any of your car repair or maintenance needs. They do top-notch work and are honest and caring.

When I went to pay, the employee ringing me out (Tyler De Luca, who I believe is the co-owner) refused to honor the promotion. He claimed that the coupon "was never in the envelope, and "we don't do oil changes for $50" and then immediately contradicted himself by stating that "if it was in there, it was expired." Rather than verifying the promotional rate or attempting to provide good customer service, he forced me to pay the full, un-promoted retail price. This is the 2nd time he has pulled the same type of trick. I thought it was an isolated incident. This place used to do a good job. It seems like those days are over. I would suggest going elsewhere for your car service needs.
