This menu offers three levels of 'tea' with a selection of caffinated and herbals teas. Food offerings on this menu include tea sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and croissants. Besides lunch and tea, they sell coffee drinks, bottled sodas (Mexican coke) and pastries. Their shelves offer beautiful tea pots, demi tasse sets, cook books and more for sale. We ordered a sandwich and a savory crepe. The sandwich is a good size on soft bread that held up well under all the fillings. Sandwiches come with potato chips on the side. The crepe was full of tender beef and large slices of mushroom in a savory gravy. A fresh salad of mixed greens comes with your choice of dressing on the side. The decor is very intentional and well done. Our waitress was very friendly and knew her job well. One restroom at the back includes a diaper station. Parking is in one of the town paid lots. (our pre-paid parking was about 2.50 for three hours) If I lived closer, this would definitely be one of my 'regular' places to stop for a coffee, tea or lunch.

The cafe is always beautifully decorated for the season (like Valentine's Day, Easter and Spring). The servers wear old timey uniforms. It isn't fancy, but it is adorable. Totally kid friendly! Great place for afternoon tea for a family. My two daughters and I had afternoon tea and we absolutely love it! Friendly service, good food, wonderful tea, soda and milkshakes...yes, we tried to all! We will definitely be back. They do take reservations, and since they are so small, I do recommend it.

There are also a variety of grocery type items available for purchase. I've been here twice so far and both times were good experiences. From the cafe area, the chai is very good and my partner enjoyed his Buckley's Latte. Their baker items all look amazing, and I highly recommend the cinnamon rolls. All the workers are very friendly and happy to answer questions. I especially liked that you can get bakery items heated up (definitely do this for the cinnamon rolls!) There is a ton of seating and it's never hard to find a table. There are tables for groups of all sizes and very comfortable booths. It's generally quiet since there is so much seating and people spread out, so it's a lovely place to work remote for the day.

They were substantially filled with cheese eggs and bacon and or sausage. I ordered chorizo on my sausage bagel sandwich. Everything is made to order. My sons said they really liked their sandwiches which were bacon egg and cheese on English. Most of the sandwiches are on the menu with homemade biscuit but we ordered with English muffin. They have ugly sticks and the first time we saw that was many years ago after moving to York. The sticks are made from buttermilk batter and come in differing sugary coatings. People love those and they sell out fast. St Joes is known for its benes. The little beignet dough balls. We have never had them, but customers were coming in and ordering a dozen at a time, so I feel like these are very popular here. They also have a great selection of coffees and lattes. Their prices are on par and reasonable. The staff were personable and friendly. There is a small area to sit inside although that fills up pretty quickly on a weekend. There is online ordering although, one of the staff told me they shut it down when they are really busy. Young people, old people (like me) all seemed to enjoy coming in here. I think St Joes has a large following and for good reason. I'll come again with my 13 yr old twins and try some of those benes soon.
