Warm Christmas vibes in Sip House

Stepping in from the cold, we were warmly greeted by the owner who is one of the most lovely people we've ever met. Our barista prepared the most delicious coffee and hot chocolate, we couldn't get over the homemade whipped cream which was INCREDIBLE. She also delivered it right to where we were sitting, and this is the type of place that encourages you to settle in with a good book and feel right at home. Visiting from Florida, this warm and welcoming space was an oasis on our cold night. An additional bonus is that Sip House featured local artists and products, so we were able to Christmas shop! It turned out our barista also makes beautiful clay earrings, we can't wait to visit again next time we are in Maine.

Caramel Macchiato and my favorite tea brand Tea Forte

They judged opened 3 months ago! Go show your support to local businesses. The gentleman who greeted us was so friendly. The cafe was full of unique tea accessories and tea brands. My favorite is Forte Tea which is super hard to find! Stop by here before you go shopping and get your hot cup of tea/coffee! I had the Caramel Macchiato which was perfect Free parking in the back lot!

Baklava

We pass by Freeport to visit some friends, and after a long drive we were in need of some coffee. We found this ZesTea and we couldn't believe! The best baklava on the United States is sold in a little cozy coffee shop in Maine. Delicious coffee, and even better pastries. They offer a great selection of coffee, tea, and have a beautiful and very unique selection of handmade souvenirs. This will be my first stop next time I'm in Freeport! Thank you to elif and arda for this treasure in ME.

Fresh baked Turkish pastry and cappuccino.

Great coffee and homemade pastries, including turkish options that are hard to find anywhere else. Super friendly owners, too.

Brand new to downtown Freeport! Walking distance from the local shops and outlet stores…read more My daughter has been begging to try out this new place. And today was the day. We love fruit bowls! This space use to be a coffee shop so walking in, I noticed how open the room was set up and I loved the new look and vibe it gave off. Staff was very friendly. And the bowl we shared was delicious! My daughter decided on the Rio Bowl which was the pitaya (dragon fruit) base topped with mango, blueberry, granola, shredded coconut + honey. My husband and I lived in Hawaii for 2 years and lived on Acai bowls so this definitely brought me back to the island! Can't wait to try the other options they have. There were so many!

There is a one way street to the right of the store that has plenty of side street parking or weekends you can park at City Hall. They offer smoothies with no fillers of ice and water, and their famous fruit bowls. The bowls have a base (sorbet-like) offered in 4 flavors: Acai, Picasa (Dragon fruit), Coconut and Mango. Then you can get an assorted aray of toppings (they offer variety of bowls or you can make your own). You can also pick a bowl and change the base. Lots of fresh fruit options: strawberries, blueberries, banana, pineapple, mango, kiwi, and then various toppings such as granola, flax seeds, chia seeds, cacao nibs, coconut flakes, honey, peanut butter and Nutella.

First time I have come here . I must admit I was baffled by the parking was not sure how that…read moreworked , luckily I was the only car so I just made up my own. The place is nice inside bright and welcoming. They have a good size menu and the crepes smelled good. I ordered the Nantucket red small , they charged me for a large I corrected them no problem . The small was definitely small for $9.00. The beet flavor was very prevalent and sort of took over the whole smoothie. I had expected the other flavored would have been more pronounced. I have had smoothies with beet before and it was a sweeter mix so that was a little disappointing. Nice place but felt expensive for what I got .

Great smoothie, but I probably will not be returning. My warning about this business is the sizes…read moreof the smoothies/juices they sell. There are two sizes that are offered (small and large). The small is 9.00$ without tax when the large is 13$ without tax. Today I spent 9.72$ on a small smoothie that I did end up enjoying but the size of the cup was insane for the price tag they put on it. Below you can see a picture I took representing and comparing the size to my energy drink powder mix. Things I noticed where they don't put the ounces of the drinks on the menu board but only the prices. At the counter they also had no cups out showing the sizes of the drinks. They also display no prices on the online menu, where I first looked, as-well as no ounces of the smoothie drinks. I work for a small business in southern Maine and I just think this is completely unreasonable for sizing. I shop small constantly trying new places and have never spent over 9$ on one drink, or even a SMALL drink and I don't think I want to ever again.

There are about 30 flavors that all look amazing, but extremely unhealthy. Which brings me to point two: somehow these 16 ounce shakes are only about 230 calories, with 24 grams of protein and relatively low carbs. How is this possible? I'll just assume it's magic and enjoy these delicious shakes. Things to consider though: -The price is ridiculous. After tax it is $7.83 for a shake, plus the screen asks for a tip. So nearly $9 for a protein shake is excessive, even for Falmouth. -There are most likely loads of artificial ingredients to make these taste so good. I don't personally care, but you might. -Surprisingly the calories are not listed on the menu boards for any items. The owner explained the shakes to me, but this is odd. There are protein iced coffees, workout teas and smoothie bowls I'd like to try as well, but for now, I'll be dreaming of my next shake.

It's off the beaten path and not somewhere I would've stumbled upon naturally. I went around noon on a Friday and there were a couple of people in line but it moved quickly and there wasn't much of a wait. It's a cute little shop--standing room only--and I liked the vibe a lot. They provide complimentary infused water while you wait and there is a gender-neutral restroom available. In addition to food and smoothies, there are tie dye tshirts and treats for the pup for sale. The person taking my order (I'm guessing the owner) was pleasant and welcomed me for my first visit. I ordered the Tropicali Blues smoothie (minus the banana), and it did not disappoint! I'm looking forward to visiting again and working my way through their menu. They provide a punch card, which is even more incentive for me to keep coming back. Grateful for another tasty local business!
