My favorite coffee shop. No other shops beat the coffee, baristas, and prices. If you have to wait in line it's worth the wait! The baristas are so lovely here. My dogs love them and their treats. The coffee tastes great and they don't overcharge like Starbucks or Dutch. They have fun specials every month but one special holds a special place in my heart- The Ooey Gooey Coconut! Pretty good drinks but always take way too long to order and make drinks. It took me over 20 minutes to get to the window and there was one car in front of me. There is also one lady (taller, brown hair) who is always very short and rude. She will walk away mid ordering or just act like she doesn't want to be there or be talking to you. read more

I come to Sip often a few times a week, and typically have a great experience with both food and service. Today, when I rolled up with my roommate, who had also visited just the day before, we were greeted very passive aggressively, by someone that looked like she obviously did not want to be there. I didn't think anything of it, it's Monday and we are all tired. However, as we started to ask questions about new menu items, we were given super judgmental looks and were talked to like we were stupid. For example, my roommate asked what the bagel flavors were, and she responded with, "literally plain, cheese, and everything" with a pretty harsh tone. We felt super awkward and uncomfortable asking anything about the menu, but at this point, we still had to order and pay so we had to persevere After we ordered the bagel, I started to ask a questions about the new Valentines menu, and before I could finish my sentence, she gave me a dirty look and walked away to the back of the building. Honestly, the rest of the trip kept going like this with her being rude and passive aggressive to us for no reason, and coincidentally, when my roommate had gone yesterday, she had the same barista and was given the treatment, which honestly led us to believe this girl may be racist. It was the girl with the shrek greenish nike hoodie today, and if the owners see this, please heavily consider replacing her with someone who is kinder and has better people skills. Food was 10/10!! So love their coffee! I've been going there for over 3 yrs. Used to live in Tigard, on Sunday we would go to Newberg just for the coffee. Today tho something bothered me. I ok ordered my coffee, there was a person on the other side. She asked do you have a punch card? The guy said no, she asked, oh are you a eclipser? He said no, she said, oh good, what are you here for? He said wine! She said oh we love the wine people! So I felt she was discriminating people for why they are in town. I know things get hectic, but this is money for a small biz. All monies earned help the biz stay open. I just felt she did not act properly. Sad. read more
