Super friendly service always an immediate three stars. You are welcomed in and asked how they can help. The selection is not large. As I have visited several times that appears to be because there is a regular flow of people coming in and buying up their stock. Many gluten free options. Everything is wrapped up individually. Keeps the items fresh and secure. Also they are extremely open to request. I wanted something better than the Keeler store crust. They responded within the hour and had two pie crust ready for me. Called me up and let me know they had prepared them and put them into a pan ready for me to make my pie or in this case custard tart. In the times of less staff and even less customer service these guys are doing great things. Definitely stop in and give them a try.

Gluten free carrot cake with personalized message
    Noelle S.

Ordering experience: 5 stars. Called to order a gluten free carrot cake with personalization for my doctorate defense. Guy on the phone was very nice, read back my name spelling a few times to make sure it was written down correctly, and assured me "wheat free" was gluten free, too. Pick up experience: 2 stars I went to pick up my cake on a day that was critical timing wise with orders to be picked up and defense scheduled at a specific time and people showing up afterward at a specific time. Welp, I show up and my name is spelled incorrectly... wouldn't you double and triple check that before calling it good whenever it was decorated? And then it wasn't very quick to get it fixed IMO. "Glacial pace" is how I described it to others. Decorating look: 2 stars The writing in the cake, even after corrected to accurately spell my name, looked really amateurish IMO. It was messy and nothing special. I understand I'm not ordering a Buddy the Cake Boss level cake but I just expected it to be cleaner / more impressive. Whatever, the point is to cut into it but I would've taken more pictures with it if I looked cleaner / more impressive. Cake taste: 10 stars. Soo good! I have celiac and since it's my party, all the food was gluten free. I love nothing more when people eat my food and are clueless it's gluten free. This cake (carrot cake with cream cheese frosting) was FABULOUS. The taste made up for the disappointing pickup and decor experience ten fold. Some of the best carrot cake I've ever had. My advice to the owners is to triple check the spelling before sending any order out the door, that was really frustrating and a bad first impression. My advice to those picking up is give yourself some time in the day's schedule in case you need them to adjust anything.

With less than 1.5 days' notice, a GF carrot cake - the best ever.

Luckee Dutch is one of those small businesses that continually gets 5 stars. From my 1st review several years ago to now, this family-run bakery continues to exceed expectations. They provide high-quality baked goods consistently and at a reasonable price. What sets them apart from other bakeries are their skills at preparing wheat-free baked goods equal to or better than traditional. They offer vegan baked goods and cater to other dietary needs. They are responsive and nice. I had a last-minute cake order with a special design. This is where they went the extra mile. With less than 1.5 day's notice, they produced a GF carrot cake to rival anyone's carrot cake, and with this detailed design. It was perfect.

    Cobbler bar!
    Jason C.

My friend and I stopped by for a mid-morning snack to go. Although I'm not gluten intolerant, the cobbler bar looked tasty, and I appreciated they had a whole separate gluten-free case. The cobbler bar was delicious. I'd never had a cobbler bar which had two fruit flavors on either side. The flavors were fresh and not too sweet. The texture was fluffy and a nice cake.

Bismarks and a white chocolate raspberry scone. So delicious!

No matter what, you won't be disappointed. The entire place has cozy seating options throughout the entire space. This is a perfect place to stop if you want to grab lunch or picnic items on your way out to the vineyards for wine tasting! Most wine tasting rooms will let you bring outside food to enjoy while you taste. So this is a go to spot for me as I prepare to enjoy my day out near the vines. All menu food is prepared from scratch, so expect to wait a reasonable amount of time for the legit goodness that awaits you. I love their sandwiches but they are known for the wood fired pizzas. A great place to grab a gift if you need a bottle of wine or other lovely local treats to share with another special person... definitely be sure to check it out when you're passing through Dundee next time

Thankfully I pulled over in the lot to eat, so I didn't get far before I noticed my meal had come with fries instead of the salads. The salads were half the reason I wanted to eat there. I walked up to the window to ask why I had gotten fries, and the woman told me they were out of the salads. That's definitely something she should've mentioned when I ordered, but she didn't. I pointed that out to her and explained I wouldn't have wanted it if I had known. She offered to let me return my meal, but I suggested she refund half and let me keep it, which she agreed to. The piroshki was a good size and well seasoned with plenty of filling. The fries looked seasoned but didn't taste like it. They needed salt and/or some kind of sauce. I didn't order any sauces because I didn't know I was getting fries, but they should've come with something complimentary IMO. They were extremely slow for a Friday afternoon on a very busy road. The prices on their website are considerably less than at the shop ($18 vs $15.50 for my meal), and there wasn't a current menu pic on Yelp (which I've since added). I would've skipped it altogether if I had known what they were charging. I imagine that's part of the reason they're so slow. Minus two stars for not explaining they were out of half my meal before preparing it, plus one for offering a fair solution, minus one for sub-par fries and nothing to eat them with. Minus one for inconsistent pricing.
