And guess what! They even have that doppio con panna on their menu now! And it was perfectly made, as perfect as Starbucks could make it with the coffee and whipped cream they had. I should be upset. To be fair, I WAS upset! Tonight, I ordered food from this McDonalds location. I…read moredid it because I convinced myself that I was too tired to make dinner. I ordered it on my McDonalds app. I ordered it 12 minutes before arriving to pick it up. When I got there, I entered my parking space #3 as required by the app. I then waited for 15+ minutes for them to bring out my food. I finally went inside. They have recently done a TON of renovations indoors. The biggest update to their interior is the fact that you can't see what's going on where they are making the food. In fact, you can't see any workers unless they come to the counter. I sat there for another 5 minutes and only saw one employee come to the front counter and she only was there for 15 seconds to give someone their food and then left before anyone could talk to her. I gave up and left. Like I said, I SHOULD be upset, but I'm not. This McDonalds' terrible service made me realize something important. I realized that no matter how tired I am, McDonalds is equally expensive, bad for you, and have terrible service. I don't need to waste my money or time buying this sh*t food, especially when they have the WORST service. Honestly, I need to thank this particular location for going out of their way to help me come to this realization. I AM a little pissed that they took my $13.77 and I never got any food. But, honestly, that's kinda a small price to pay to come to this realization. Thanks, Molalla McDonalds! You've lost a customer, but that is probably the best thing for me, health-wise.

We visited Smokey Bones BBQ on a Wednesday evening, and overall we were pleased with our…read moreexperience; although there is definitely room for improvement. My wife and I split the "Whole Ranch", which comes with all of the standard meats they serve (pulled pork, brisket, chicken, pork ribs, sausage), along with your choice of sides. All of the meat options had great flavor, but the chicken and pulled pork were the only ones that really stood out as being excellent. The brisket was quite fatty, overcooked, and cut with the grain, and the pork ribs were dry with lots of silver skin. All of the meats tasted a lot better with the addition of Smokey Bones' homemade BBQ sauces, of course; and I really liked their spicy option. I would have to say that I was disappointed with the sides all the way around. The portion sizes are quite small, and that might have been OK if they were really good, but they weren't. The "BBQ Baked Beans" were not at all what comes to mind when I hear that name -- they were not sweet at all, but rather had a chili-like flavor to them. The bits of pulled pork in the beans were a nice touch, but the flavor just wasn't there. My son really liked his pulled pork sandwich after he figured out he needed to add his own BBQ sauce, although it would be nice to have the option of adding cole slaw to it. My daughter loved her all-beef hot dog meal, and really wants to go back again sometime soon. Which means we will be giving them another try before too long...
