Our server, Camille, took our order and then would disappear for 30+ minutes at a time. At one point, when we asked where she had been, she simply said she was "walking around." Her overall approach to serving us felt extremely nonchalant and inattentive. The atmosphere also made us feel as though the level of attention you receive depends on how much you're spending--particularly whether you're purchasing bottles. The servers seemed more focused on creating a bottle-service experience than providing attentive restaurant service. It gave the evening a very transactional, "pay for attention" feeling rather than genuine hospitality. What really sealed the experience for us happened after we had already paid our bill. A host approached our table and essentially said, "Can you leave now? We need to seat someone right now." There was no gracious transition, no "thank you for dining with us," and no polite explanation--just an abrupt request to leave. For a restaurant with such a beautiful ambiance and good food, the service and hospitality were incredibly disappointing. Guests should feel welcomed and valued from the moment they sit down until the moment they leave, regardless of whether they're ordering bottles.

He kindly left it with the staff there and let me know so I called and they were very rude and snappy to say "Yes OK?! we have them". I was unable to go that following week to pick them up so I went a little over a week later and I just wanted to call to confirm they were still there and the person again was very rude and simply said "YES WE ALREADY TOLD YOU A WEEK AGO THEY WERE HERE AND YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE COME TO PICK THEM UP SO IF YOU DIDN'T THEN THEY MUST STILL BE HERE!" and hung up. Since I was making the commute out there in traffic on a Friday with my daughter I decided to call back and ask that they confirm that they're still back there and the same gentleman answered, and very rudely said " LISTEN WE ARE NOT A SHOE STORE. SO NO WE ARE VERY BUSY!" and to no surprise been a surprise HUNG UP right after that. When I got there, there were tables open and the bartenders greeted me and clearly did not know. I was the same person that they had been very rudely talking to so I asked about the shoes he went and got them and I asked if he was the gentleman I had taught you on the phone and he couldn't even look me in the eye but still said "no". This place is not only is very expensive for drinks and food, but the staff being the way they are no customer should ever be treated like this. I was not rude, was not angry, and yet was treated with such little respect. There are a bunch of other, really nice places with the same vibe and much nicer stuff that you can give your money to on a night out. **Update: completely disagree with your response, and the fact that you can't take ownership for the way that your staff talks to customers is exactly why I feel my review is very valid. They serve you the red salsa, but you can ask for the green. The kind that gives you heart burn for hours. Worth it. Both salsa were great, chips were fresh. We ordered house margaritas, and those were also very good. Pricing was average. For food we ordered the parrillada El Malecon. Mixed beef and chicken, with ribs and quail. Here's where things went a little rough. We ordered the "for two" but the entire was still in a " for one" portion. 3 pieces of steak, 3 chicken, one quail 2 rib portions. Definitely seemed off. The manager came by, and we discussed. On THEIR menu, the double portion is only 4 strips of steak, 4 of chicken, still only one quail, and two rib portions. The reasoning we were given is that people don't seem to like the quail. First, nothing about this is "for two." For 45.99 this isn't it. The chicken and beef were good, the quail was not seasoned well unfortunately, and the ribs were over sauced with a cheap syrupy sauce. Overall food was a no. But here's where I also have to give credit. They stuck with their defense, and while we discussed someone brought a plate of chicken and beef. While we weren't going to ask for anything, we do appreciate their thoughtfulness and speedy resolution. Maybe they knew it was coming , or maybe they just jumped ahead to make it work. Either way, we appreciated that effort. Overall, service was great, food was 50/50. Wouldn't do the parrilladas again, but would try other menu items.
