I went to the Hwy 6 location the day before yesterday and the crawfish were delicious and big as always. When I saw the difference in size at the Rosharon location I immediately asked the guy at the counter why and he said the locations receive different shipments!! WTH!! Ordered Fish and Fries. After waiting a long while for the order; when I got home I noticed the fries were refried in old grease. When I phoned back to ask about the fries, I was told that their fries are fresh every day. The fries were stale bad tasting. The servers were very rude and refused to give me their name. This includes the woman talking our order to the person handing us our food. They are unfriendly, even though we're approaching and speaking to them so kindly. When I went up to the counter, the woman just stared at me and said nothing. I was waiting for her to at least ask what we wanted to order; but all we got was an unhappy stare. Tried out the new location in Rosharon and ordered online. Online ordering needs more fine tuning however you can order what you need via the app if you're up on technology. Service was pretty good as the guys and lady behind the counter were funny and easy to get along with. The energy inside was good as they had a virtual DJ which was pretty cool to hear and see. Didn't use restroom but it's one onsite for woman and men specifically from what I see. Food - Most importantly - fish is GOOD. 100% would order fried fish again. The French fries are only ok and a slight disappoint. The fries I saw inside looked and seemed a lot better than the ones I got. Hush puppies I received were over cooked as well, glad the tartar sauce was good to make the bite worth while. The garlic parm wings I received were missing that garlic n salt/savory taste but it's close. Specially, The parmesan cheese was there but the garlic did had a on high heat under tone but they were fully cooked. Chicken tenders were not dry as other seafood joints in the area and much appreciated as my kids love chicken tenders. All and all, the fried catfish is the big winner!!!. I do wish they had family platter for fish specifically but 6 pieces took care of 3 mouths this go around. If I didn't order multiple items, those 6 wouldn't do much. Tartar sauce is good as well. So when I return, it's for the fried fish. Will give shrimp a try next go around. I'm a huge poboy fan and judge all seafood places off their care for a shrimp po-boys. I had the grilled tilapia with sweet potato fries and steamed vegetables. The fish was so delicious- well seasoned and moist. I deducted a star for the steamed vegetables since they were standard California blend and unseasoned. My husband had the fried catfish and shrimp with fried rice. This is by the worst customer service I've ever received from a food service company. They definitely do not value their customers and clearly only concern is to make a profit. My first encounter with them, a big portion of my order wasn't on my bag, I called the food in for pick up of course. I live 30 minutes away from the establishment. 20 minutes in to my ride home someone called me and told me that they forgot to give me all my food. So I turn around drive back another 20 minutes to pick up my food it was only offered in alcoholic beverage. I made the manager aware that I do not drink alcohol and he stated to me that's all he can offer. Neither did they give me fresh crawfish. They only offered me the cold crawfish that I ordered approximately an hour before they mistakenly left it out of my bag. Second encounter, I ordered delivery off of their website. Long story short my food was given to a third-party that's clearly spam. I spent $50 in food purchase and then was told that there was nothing they could do to accommodate me for the food being given to a third-party that once food is handed over to them it's out of their hands. The manager also stated that he can't "just give away free food" as if I didn't pay for food that was never received. You partnered with this bogus company but somehow I have to take the loss. So please do not order from here on their website for delivery you will never get your food and definitely check your bag when ordering pick up or else you will be turning around to pick up your food they mistakenly forgot. Long story short save your time and money don't eat here! There's several other seafood establishments that have better food and better customer service and value their customers! read more
