The pita and hummus were good, I just wish it didn't have olive oil on top. The chicken shawarma was surprisingly good. The kebabs were the real stars though. My ranking of favorites to least: lamb, steak, chicken. The steak was a little too hard for me and the chicken tasted normal, not super juicy, but the lamb was definitely my favorite. The rice was AMAZING. So flavorful and comforting. The cheesecake was great by itself, but the Dubai chocolate on top tasted a little stale. Overall, such a nice casual Mediterranean spot in Chicago. Got a baklava because it was staring me in the face; yummy but very honey forward. Not my favorite but not the worst, probably would just try something else next time. The food was great, service was good and they were very quick and efficient. The one thing I like about this place is that they use a very thin slicer to pull the gyros and you do not see a lot of places do that anymore. The thin gyros makes for such a nice wrap or sandwich. Please don't change that! The chicken is cooked nicely and has a little tartness to it which pairs nicely with the tahini and red sauce within the wrap. The interior is not too big, but you get a great view of the food prep area. The staff is always very nice, and quick to answer any questions. I've been there four times in the last two months--this time, I chose something a little different. I ordered the Mixed Shawarma Entree, which has many with meats, rice, salad, and Hummus.
