Wonderful, clean, quick, and such a great addition to Montrose. You go up to the counter to order and they'll bring it to your table. We were given some complimentary falafel which was delicious. The chicken shawarma wrap with waffle fries and mint lemonade are light and tasty.

Pretty solid middle eastern joint. The chicken was moist, the hummus is good with a healthy dap of olive oil on top. I think the salad could use a better dressing and I think the plate would greatly benefit from some kind of sauce accompaniment. Although, I am being a little nitpicky here.

Sooooo good. I got the entree and it was heavy on the amount of meat. Such a good bang for your buck.

Tried their delivery this week and super impressed with the quality and flavor. Got the kabob combo with hummus and salad. Good value and tastes delicious! Husband got some other plates and he was equally impressed by the food here. We also tried the bakavla and it was delicious! A++!

Food was delicious, meat was moist and tender, rice was seasoned very well and tasty, salad was fresh and seasoned. Humus was good along with the pita bread they provided. Lentil soup was very good, creamy and savory, unlike the watered down some places have. No wonder they have 5 stars on Yelp. I've bookmarked this place for the next time I'm back in the neighborhood. Delish! They cater too, a bonus option for future parties. They have a nice no frill outdoor shaded seating, and the service is excellent!

Seriously so impressed with this place. I got the meal/platter and was pleasantly surprised by how much food I got. The quality was also top tier, and it came out hot and fast. I was able to get three meals out of this one order as the leftovers were plentiful. You can't beat the cost either. It's a really solid restaurant tucked away in the corner of River North. I would definitely go here more often if I lived closer but will definitely stop by anytime I'm on the area!

This place is excellent and is now one of my go-to spots when visiting Chicago. Food is delicious and prices are solid. I've gotten both the chicken shawarma wrap and the salad with chicken. Both were filling and hit the spot. Would absolutely get them again. Wish extra sauce wasn't extra as their hot sauce is delicious!

I decided to work from this café one day and it was a great spot to be productive. There was plenty of seating and charging ports available. They had free Wi-Fi and the noise was at a reasonable volume. They have a full breakfast menu in the morning, offering different coffee drinks and breakfast items. During lunch, you can order many classic Middle Eastern salads and sandwiches. I ordered the Fattoush salad and a side of pita bread. It was a huge portion and very delicious!

This is a cute place, came here for lunch on a Saturday. You order at the back table and then get the food dropped off at your table. Nice selection of food, good mix of vegetarian and meat options. I got the beef shawarma entree (came with a side of humus and salad). Overall good! Beef was a little dry. The humus is very good and flavorful, pita bread was nice and soft. The ambiance was nice, very simple and not that many tables/seats. Service was average.

My boyfriend I love going to this place for authentic Mediterranean food! Our food is always cooked to order and made fresh everytime we visit. I always get the chicken kabob entree that comes with plenty of basmati rice, grilled chicken, grilled tomatos & onions, hummus, and salad. The pita bread is always so soft and is super delicious with the tasty hummus. Price and quality and quantity of food can't be beat here!

I've never been inside, only ordered delivery from this location but their food is always amazing. I'm obsessed with their falafel wraps. They're huge, less than $10, their falafel isn't overly dry and it's flavorful. What's not to love? My bf is also in love with a variety of their meat dishes so...highly, highly recommend. They're consistent which is hard to find.

I arrived 25 minutes later and they hadn't even made my order. From there, 3 different people told me it'll be another 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 15 minutes. I ended up waiting 20 minutes and during that whole time there was no apology. One of the workers handed me a tea and later I saw they included dessert in the bag. It was a nice gesture but I was frustrated that it wasn't acknowledged by the staff at all and part of my order was still missing. I paid $2.25 for a Yogurt & Cucumber Sauce which I never received. The Caspian Mix Grill with Albaloo Polo was very good. The filet mignon & chicken breast were both juicy and well-seasoned. The Albaloo Polo is plain basmati rice mixed with saffron, caramelized onion and sauteed sweet & sour cherries. I liked the rice but it felt like they just threw the cherries on top rather than incorporate it into the rice. It was very filling, enough to share with 2 people, and good value. The Bamieh & Balava were also fresh, sweet, and a nice bite to end on. Ultimately, I would give the food a 4/5 and the service a 2/5, hence my 3/5 rating.

I am familiar with the area but didn't know that this restaurant was located in this small strip mall. I pass this strip mall all the time when going to the Alamo Drafthouse for movies, but never thought about pulling into here due to the small parking lot and that it is always crowded. Walking into the restaurant, there is a kiosk where you can order your food. As it was late and I just wanted to eat and not make a lunch for tomorrow, I ordered a Spinach Pie and a Combination Meat Plate (Beef kabob, Kifta kabob, Chicken Kabob and Chicken shawarma. Served with Rice, Salad, Hummus and pita bread) so I could have leftovers to take to work the next day. I placed my order, paid for it and had to wait for about 15 minutes to get my food. While waiting, I was able to look around the restaurant to see it was clean and brightly lit. The table and floors were clean and there were a few customers dining inside. The staff was nice and friendly as well. I got my food home and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of food in the combo dish. There was a good amount of meat and rice, enough for two people easily. The combo dish is $25 but well worth it. The meat was cooked nicely and had good flavor. As good as that combo dish was, that Spinach pie was on point! The flavor was great and the dough was nice and fluffy/tasty. The food was so good that I decided to put in an order on Grubhub the next night to get it for dinner for later in the week. I wanted to place an order on Grubhub to get free delivery as a Prime member, but the online menu did not have the Spinach pies listed, so I ended up having to call into the restaurant to place my order. When you call into the restaurant, they take your number and will send you a link to pay for your order and to send them your address and delivery instructions. I ordered the same items again, but got extra Spinach pies and a Greek Salad with chicken as well. The delivery guy was nice and brought my food up to me as instructed. The salad was fresh and there was plenty of Chicken Shawarma on top of it. I ended up having that for dinner as well as one of the Spinach pies and it was delish. The Chicken Shawarma was very nice and again, this was a decent size salad and was filling along with the pie. I definitely want to go back to try some of the other dishes that they have, like the wraps and the gyro plate and/or wrap. There is a lentil soup I would also like to try as well. I would definitely recommend Falafel & Grill for eats.

Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. Flavors were bright, plating was clean, and you could tell the chef cares. From the appetizers to the desserts, there wasn't a single miss. If I were judging on taste alone, this place would be an easy five stars. Unfortunately, the atmosphere didn't match the quality of the kitchen. The harsh fluorescent lighting cast a sterile, almost cafeteria-like glow over what could have been a warm and inviting space. It made the dining experience feel less comfortable and far less charming than the food deserved. Bottom line: Come for the fantastic food, but be prepared--the lighting may have you wishing for dimmers or a candle or two. With a simple ambiance upgrade, this spot could be truly exceptional. I hope the owners realize this is an easy upgrade to a once former quick takeaway place.
