The situation WAS urgent given that evening temperatures were in the 40s and the house needed heat. Tuesday morning we had another HVAC technician come over who diagnosed the issue within half an hour! and contacted the manufacturer soon after to remedy the situation. Not trying to "hurt" a small business, but as this interaction represents what you do, it's unacceptable. Try to imagine a customer's dissatisfaction when they're ticked off enough not to answer your call. BTW the Yelp name is my son's who regularly uses social media whereas I don't.

Since my house is 210-years-old there were a few issues getting it up and running, as we knew there would be. They came back as needed to ensure everything ran perfectly. They were friendly and prompt every-time. Recently we had an issue with our shower. It sprung a leak into the stairwell and den. I called the office and they had two plumbers there literally in a matter of minutes. I highly recommend Huber for anyone looking for a plumber.

They put a workman's lein on our house before the invoice was issued to our GC. Since the job was complete, we called them 4-5 times and never had service arrive. To date, we've spent $%,000 on HVAC repairs. The unit was installed three years ago. Mitsubishi had to send the regional technical supervisor out because the installation was "off the books," and very difficult to repair. We've already had to replace a mixing box, electric service, and motherboards plus other remediation. Of, yes, some of the plumbing Huber installed was done incorrectly.

I couldn't get up there, and had just had a terrible experience where Lowe (another plumber) really took advantage of her, and I didn't know who to call. An electrician in Kingston that I'd worked with before recommended Carl without hesitation. Carl managed to squeeze her in within 2 hours, replaced the leaking connections and contacted Central Hud to turn the gas back on so he could check the boiler, and his charges were VERY reasonable even for a scheduled visit, nevermind an emergency call. By the time cent. Hud. got the gas back on it was 6:30pm on a Friday night and Carl came back. He figured out it was a problem with the control unit, but also noticed the boiler was only 3 years old. This is the great part.. rather than saying "I'll be back on Monday with the parts to fix it" he told Rosie it should still be under warranty and gave her advice on how to go about getting warranty service- and didn't charge her for the return visit/diagnostic. It's so honorable it's almost absurd the way he put his client's best interests above his own. Carl is a stand-up guy with great service, fast response times, quick expert work (which = great pricing), and a heart of gold. I trust him completely to take care of my grandma, I can think of no higher compliment.

They were professional and very knowledgeable during the initial visit to evaluate our problems and existing various tanks, pumps, softeners, etc. I also called a competitor as good practice for comparison quote. Claverack followed up with a quote that was not only less expensive but also much more complete with product data, water analysis and pricing with the scope of work to be provided. I immediately signed up and took the day off to be at the house when they arrived. Bob and Adam were great to work with as they removed all old equipment (5 tanks, chlorinator and softener) and replaced with 1 air injection unit to remove the sulphur. We learned from their water analysis that the other units were not required for our water although being sold those products previously - requiring chlorine and salt on a regular basis. Removing all the old equipment regaining valuable space in our boiler room and eliminated the need to lug bags of salt and chlorine buckets - not to mention saving this ongoing cost. After putting the units into service, the guys walked us through the program and explained with the air system we have little or no maintenance. I noted that I would call them for a yearly inspection although we were shown the unit will notify us of that when due, Our water is finally what is should have been all along - no sulphur, spurting faucets, and constant need for chemicals and salt. We could not be happier with the transformation - our only regret is that we didn't "shop locally" sooner. If you have similar well water problems, or any related issues, we HIGHLY recommend Claverack Pump for your treatment. Thank you to all that helped us clean up our well water.

Another plumber had been here twice; resolved a drainage problem in the shower on visit one. However, then there was a worse glugging between the kitchen and tub! We asked for him to return and address the new issue. He returned but was done did not work and things kept getting worse. He told us to use Draino and if that didn't work to call Lady Rooter! In the alternative, he offered the option of cutting out our pipes to seek the block and then replace them. After much thought we decided to call Robert Bradway. Bradway was so accommodating and as I said above, fixed our issues in one visit and even provided eco friendly recommendations to assist in keeping our pipes clear. This morning I called requesting help with our aging mini-split a/c system and was told they would no longer provide service to us as a result of an incident that occurred last Fall when driving past the owner's house. The workers they hired were installing electrical conduit and a box truck in front of us stopped before starting again. My wife and I, with our two dogs in the car, began to proceed. I assumed it was safe to proceed. The truck suddenly stopped and the reverse lights came on, so I blew my horn, knowing they could not see us behind them. Suddenly, the two workers startied screaming at me, cursing and calling me names and verbally abusing me for proceeding. My wife and I were very shaken up by this and called the local police to report this violent behavior. I am extremely upset as well as disappointed that this company would turn their back on me as a customer. The only reason I am giving them two stars is that we have always been satisfied with their work. Knowing that this is how they operate, I would never even want to use them again. They actually should get 0 stars for treating a customer in such a way. EDIT: to be clear, I never said the workers who verbally abused us were employees of Bradway Plumbing. But it is Bradway Plumbing who we just discovered will no longer do work for us. There is no misplaced blame, other than Robert now trying to blame me. I guess he thinks we should just accept being verbally assaulted and cursed at by the people he hired to work on his house? Maybe he should have spoken to the people he hired about the incident. Anyway, I am now fully aware of the type of business owner Robert Bradway is and will happily move on.
