Not only did HWS staff damage appliances and countertops, they created rework for other service providers. And, the owner wasn't nice about it. At all. Customers are afraid to talk to him. I remember a…read moreQ&A session between my husband and the company and from there, their focus shifted to identifying the root cause of a sulfur/rotten egg smell coming from every hot water faucet in our new home. They conducted a thorough investigation, diagnosed the underlying issue and recommended a treatment plan tailored to fully eliminate the odor. Since June '23, their technicians have been on point- responsive, knowledgeable and consistent. We also decided to invest in a specialized water filtration system as part of a more thorough solution, not just for odor elimination, but for long-term peace of mind and health reasons. I mean...who would want to bathe in, brush teeth and cook with water that has a fart smell??? David came out on a Thursday back in '23 for a follow-up and took the time to inspect everything thoroughly and confirm that the new system- from the pipes to the additional components installed earlier that summer were operating properly. By late August of that year, we saw major progress and the sulfur smell was completely gone. We signed up for a maintenance plan because we want continued oversight to ensure everything stays in excellent condition. The service has been outstanding and the price goes hand in hand with the tremendous work these guys do. David's communication was especially appreciated- he'd keep my husband informed by text with ETA updates, which is exactly the kind of service we value. Til this day, our water is perfect!

The plumbing is spectacular, efficient, and they worked like crazy in the summer heat. We cannot express just how good Dwayne and Colin were as professionals and workers. We have another job coming up next year, we certainly will call Dave Black to do the job and will recommend them to anyone who would ask. Thanks, John and Suzy Griffin Red Hook, NY 12571

Buyer Beware: Dishonest, Unprofessional, and Unreliable…read more We had a very troubling experience with John Kulk of Kulk's Plumbing and his employees. After diagnosing an issue as a contractor error, John Kulk later changed his story to the contractor, claiming it was our fault, which caused significant confusion and delays. John Kulk then suggested we file a claim with our homeowners insurance to correct the negligence of the contractor. The next day, the contractor stated in writing that he had "conferred" with John Kulk and repeated the same question, "perhaps that could go through your homeowners' insurance??" During the service, the atmosphere was uncomfortable. John Kulk said he can't find qualified workers and complained his employees frequently argue in front of customers. We previously had to ban John Kulk's employees from our home due to their unprofessional behavior. We also faced major reliability issues; snow removal was promised but denied immediately when the first snow storm arrived. Given the overpricing and lack of professional conduct, the quality of service here has significantly declined. We do not feel comfortable having John Kulk's Plumbing in our home again. We cannot recommend this business. All statements above are true, verifiable, and protected under the Consumer Review Fairness Act. I have been a customer of Bradway Plumbing for 5 years. They installed a hot water heater for us,…read moreand have completed multiple plumbing jobs such as toilet installations, sink faucets, UV light systems, and more. This morning I called requesting help with our aging mini-split a/c system and was told they would no longer provide service to us as a result of an incident that occurred last Fall when driving past the owner's house. The workers they hired were installing electrical conduit and a box truck in front of us stopped before starting again. My wife and I, with our two dogs in the car, began to proceed. I assumed it was safe to proceed. The truck suddenly stopped and the reverse lights came on, so I blew my horn, knowing they could not see us behind them. Suddenly, the two workers startied screaming at me, cursing and calling me names and verbally abusing me for proceeding. My wife and I were very shaken up by this and called the local police to report this violent behavior. I am extremely upset as well as disappointed that this company would turn their back on me as a customer. The only reason I am giving them two stars is that we have always been satisfied with their work. Knowing that this is how they operate, I would never even want to use them again. They actually should get 0 stars for treating a customer in such a way. EDIT: to be clear, I never said the workers who verbally abused us were employees of Bradway Plumbing. But it is Bradway Plumbing who we just discovered will no longer do work for us. There is no misplaced blame, other than Robert now trying to blame me. I guess he thinks we should just accept being verbally assaulted and cursed at by the people he hired to work on his house? Maybe he should have spoken to the people he hired about the incident. Anyway, I am now fully aware of the type of business owner Robert Bradway is and will happily move on.
