Everything was done expediently and I had no issues with the way my property was left. I had a old cover with a area that didn't fit well, and water could leak into it. The guys put a handle on the lid, and since I couldn't afford a new lid right now, they put some black plastic over it prior to returning the soil to the area. They marked the area so I would know where it was for next time. Since the second area of the septic was under a gravel driveway, I chose not to have that emptied at this time. Beside myself with worry, I called Jason the owner of Slack Construction. Another company had referred him to me and said, "He is the man to call." As soon as he answered the phone I cried "Help." And just like that, two heroes on white horses galloped up my driveway within the hour. After coming up my driveway I did not need to explain my problem to Jason and his brother Jamie! I love these guys. The drain cleaners are kind and work hard. They get paid a percentage of what…read morethe hourly rate is. If they cant clear the drain, or if they have to have someone else clear the drain. They dont get paid. Twice now Ive had them come out to clear the main line. Twice now Ive had two different young plumbers come by to clear it. BOTH, were very nice, and ready and willing to work hard to clear the line. This time " Will" came out and was here on time. He went right to work.WE talked as he tried to clear the line. I told him he would probably need a bladder bag. Thats what cleared the line before. He was not authorized to use on. So he called his supervisor. His Supervisor came out and also tried to clear the line. I again mentioned the bladder bag. After about an hour, the supervisor gave in and sent Will on a journey to get a bladder bag. Another 45 minutes later, Will.showed up with the bag. The supervisor ran the line again. WHALAH!!. The line cleared. I WAS execting a huge bill. NOT.!!. I was only chargec for an hours work. NIce. Being on a tight budget and not expecting a blockage in my line. I thought they were more than fair. The technicians were personable and went out of their way to fix all the concerns I had in my home. I was very happy with their technical service. On the other hand, I had a true problem with their office staff, particularly a woman by the name of Karma I believe (ironic I know). She was rude and demining. She made sure to criticize me if I did not pick up her calls immediately and gave no indication that she appreciated my business. You are on her timetable, so you better pick up, or else. I was picking up my kids from school when I missed her call. When I called back, she and cancelled my service time and sent the technician to another home. I was upset. I had just talked to her that very morning and told her I would be home during my visit window of 2pm to 4pm. When my husband called to see what was going on, another office staff member, Kelly I believe, was very helpful, explained the situation, took notes on our availability, and apologized. AWESOME, exactly how customer service should be. Unfortunately, I did have to deal with Karma one more time which was another negative experience.
