In the process, he recommended that additional vents be installed so the new system would run efficiently. He provided a free estimate and we signed the contract to get the job started!! We felt the value for the scope of work was excellent! Work was scheduled to begin quickly, and Mike and Kit showed up and got the job started. They worked diligently in the attic and were professional and courteous in the process. Elliot joined them on day two, and all work was completed as expected!! They did an excellent job of maintaining a clean work space, and hauled everything away when they were done!! I would highly recommend this company for your HVAC needs!! I called and spoke to Ashley and she had Jason out to inspect our system within days of my phone call. Our home was built in 1997 and it was just done. Jason did a thorough inspection and gave us a few options and what could be done. He put us in touch with Scott, who was able to meet us in our home to go over pricing and options a few short days later. We ended up replacing just about everything, including our AC which ended up having wiring issues that thankfully didn't cause a fire outside of my youngest sons room!! The team came out later that week and by the end of the day we had a new system and our house was warm once again! Not to mention energy efficient! Everyone we came into contact with was kind and helpful and from around the area! I can't recommend them enough!

I can't be more disappointed with this company. Last Friday afternoon, five of the drain pipes in…read moremy home needed to be connected. They came quickly but gave us a shocking quote of $2,500. We were stunned. After Benjamin spoke with his supervisor, he came back and said it could be done for $1,250. But the price was still too high. Since we were in urgent need of water that day, we finally agreed to $820. That evening, after the work was supposedly completed, we discovered that all five pipes were leaking! We had no choice but to call Benjamin to come back and fix them. We scheduled for Monday morning, but he never showed up, saying he was busy with other things. He didn't come until today, Wednesday. We watched him closely the entire time to make sure the repairs were done properly and that there were no more leaks (though we're still not certain right after the repair). On top of that, there was another spot leaking from the top, which he ignored and didn't fix. He just said that the area was old and needed replacement materials, and that it would cost extra. We asked, wasn't this supposed to be included and fixed last time? We were very upset. Later, when I called another plumber, he told me I could try tightening that spot myself and showed me which tool to use. After tightening it, the leak stopped immediately--it clearly wasn't the "old materials" problem Benjamin had claimed. This company is extremely unreliable--their pricing is dishonest, their repairs are unreliable, and they don't show up on time. Everyone, please do not choose this company in the future!

Their plumber, Lee, showed up within a few minutes after dispatch let me know he was on his way, it was perfect timing! From the moment Lee arrived, he was friendly and knowledgeable, and he located problems that previous companies I've had out had missed, issues that could have ruined my entire system. Thanks to Lee, I now have peace of mind knowing my system has been properly serviced. The job he did was extremely quick and clean and completed above my expectations. He explained everything he was doing and why. He answered all of my questions and educated me about my system while he worked on it. It was a pleasure doing business with this company. Their front-end staff were amazing and knowledgeable as well. Whoever scheduled my appointment went above and beyond to find me service sooner than quoted and made sure I was taken care of. I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs--I'll 100% call them next time!

I called because of a leaky faucet handle and spoke with someone from their call center. The representative I spoke with was honestly one of the nicest customer service people I've ever talked to -- the few stars I gave are for them and them alone. I scheduled a 10 a.m.-12 p.m. window to have the leak checked and get a quote. I let my boss know I'd need to step away from work during that time and even offered to use my lunch break so I wouldn't miss additional time on a personal matter. I kept my phone right in front of me the entire morning -- and waited... and waited... and waited. When noon rolled around, I called customer service. The agent told me I had received a call and voicemail saying my window had been changed to 1-3 p.m. I hadn't received any call, voicemail, or text -- which I thought I would have at least gotten, since I did get a text confirming the original appointment. The agent didn't seem to care or believe me, and tried to rush me off the phone but first I asked her to confirm my number, and have the plumber text when he was on his way so I wouldn't miss him. Then I had to rearrange my lunch break again and get approval to leave work for a second time. At about 1:40 p.m., the plumber texted saying he'd arrive at 2. He showed up at 2:20. Great. I ended up getting back to work 30 minutes late from my lunch. When Paul arrived, I showed him the leak and explained that we rent -- so if it wasn't expensive, I'd just pay for it myself, but if it was, I'd need to contact the landlord. Paul asked, "Well, what do you consider expensive?" I just stared for a second, because I figured he should be the one telling me that. Then he asked, "How much can you -- or are you willing -- to pay to get it done?" Like I was on The Price Is Right. Not wanting to play the guessing game, letting him know I know absolutely nothing about plumbing or the cost I said, "I don't know, maybe $100?" He scoffed, looked at his tablet, and said, "$100? I don't have a single thing on this whole tablet for $100." I asked, "Okay, how much will it cost then?" Finally, he quoted nearly $300. I asked if I could make a quick phone call, and he said, "What are you going to phone a friend?" Excuse me? I explained I needed to talk to my husband because we have a budget. After my husband and I spoke, we decided the cost was too high for something that might fall under our landlord's responsibility. I told Paul we'd contact our landlord to handle it. He said, "So call him right now." I explained we hadn't notified the landlord of the leak yet, that we just discovered it and he'd want to inspect it himself first. Paul seemed visibly annoyed, took his iPad, headed to the door, didn't look at me and said have a nice day and left. I was honestly flabbergasted. This was my first time calling a plumber over something like this, and it felt like every "mechanic-as-a-woman" warning come to life -- being treated like I didn't know what I was talking about and ready to be taken advantage of financially. The irony is, I've had better experiences with actual mechanics, even the ones who might've been trying to upsell me were at least friendly. At first, I wasn't going to leave a review. Things happen; people have bad days. I didn't lose anything but time. But here I am -- why? Because I ended up fixing the leak myself after watching a couple of YouTube videos and buying a $15 tool. The plumber wanted to charge me $270 to replace an entire faucet system for no reason other than to take my money and act like I was wasting his time. And just to be clear, this was only supposed to be a quote. The phone rep even said that no work would be done unless we agreed on a price first. Unfortunately, what I got instead was a wasted day, a rude plumber, and a bad taste in my mouth. To wrap it up: Earl's might have a great call center, but my experience with their field service -- specifically Paul E. -- was frustrating, dismissive, and overpriced. If this is how they handle quotes, I can't imagine trusting them for a full repair.
