this place at all costs! I went in to ask if they could order me specific gems on white gold posts…read moreand they put them in for me. I already had two piercings with butterfly backs but no one mentioned there is a different kind of back now where you screw a microscopic post into a tiny hole. I had to take them out for an MRI and can't get them back in because I have paralysis in my thumbs and arthritis in my hands. I called to see if they could exchange them for the type I wanted because I can't use these and he got very defensive. He kept telling me he has a client with 4 fingers and only one hand so my disability shouldn't be a problem. If he can overcome his then surely I should overcome mine, he insisted. I felt like I was talking to a child. There was no apology for the miscommunication, no offer to try to reorder them or take them back or even issue some kind of credit. He just kept blaming me, saying I should have asked when I came in wearing butterflies and having no idea these others existed. The bottom line: They don't take an ounce of responsibility for anything and are incredibly rude to someone who spent hundreds of dollars on something she can't use. Telling me I am wrong about my disability and insisting I can pay them to teach me to do it was the icing on the cake. You don't tell a disabled person that their disability isn't real and they can do something they can't if they really wanted to. I would rather pierce my own ear with a rusty nail than set foot in this scam of a place again.

I found this place from the website of the Association of Professional Piercers. It was one of…read morethree places in Worcester that is a member of that organization so you know they'll be professional. And then honestly I chose them because the name reminded me of Harry Potter, lol. I had gotten my ears pierced back in the 1980s and one hole had since closed up so I needed it repierced. This place was amazing! A very peaceful atmosphere. Clean, quiet, welcoming. Robyn was great. She explained everything to me and kept me totally apprised of what she was doing. They had a great selection of earrings. I went back for a free follow-up about 4 months later and to get the post downsized (they start you out with a longer post in case your ear swells). There was just one part of the process I'll mention that didn't make sense. When I walked in and before anything was done, I had to sign a waiver. Which is fine, but one of the questions was "Have the aftercare instructions been explained to you?" Which of course is no right when I've walked in. Nobody is going to tell you about after care before you've even had the piercing done. If I had gotten these instructions right at the start I'm sure I wouldn't have remembered them after I left because I was thinking about the upcoming procedure. I'm sure this is an industry-standard form but this question doesn't make sense. Robyn did explain the care to me after the piercing, which is as it should be. So back to my experience. The actual piercing hurt much less than I was expecting based on the earring gun at the shopping mall decades ago. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it a 2. (Contrast this with the mall gun which was about an 8 at the time). I don't have a lot of piercings so I probably won't ever have the need to go back, but if I ever did want to have another piercing done, this is definitely where I would go. I highly recommend it. And I got a goodie bag when I left containing saline solution, a sticker, and candy! What could be better?

Everything is scheduled by appointment, but the staffs are super nice and they're great at…read moreinforming different types of jewelry and types of piercings. They make the process of getting a piercing rather comforting. They have a good amount of jewelry selection, which are on the price side I would say, but still great quality

In July me and my friend both went to this piercer due to the good reviews. One of our appointments…read morewas for 6pm and the piercer didn't show up until 5:55 PM and sat in her car until literally one minute before the appointment. We gave her the benefit of the doubt of course, something could have happened out of her control. When she finally unlocked her doors and let us in, we said hello several times and were fully ignored. She began the appointment with an uncomfortable conversation about intercourse and then stated "i love having uncomfortable conversations". While personally i just came for a pricing and not to purposefully and gleefully be put in an uncomfortable situation. I was getting my left eyebrow pierced, i already have my left eyebrow and many other piercings. She put a short bar eyebrow piercing that gives no room for swelling at all. Unfortunately it is now infected and it's certainly not to due with keeping it clean, i'm very diligent with that. Unfortunately the jewelry is just not what one should be pierced with. She said she had 16 years of experience, so you would think she would know what she's doing. I would usually reach out to the service provider or piercer in this situation. But she was completely unprofessional, made me uncomfortable on purpose, and incorrectly pierced me, so I don't feel comfortable or safe going to her for any reason again. My friends appointment was booked as a piercing as she wanted her tongue priced. fortunately, her 16 years of experience came in handy this time figuring out her anatomy didn't support the piercing. so instead, she chose to change the bar to her nose piercing. but still got charged for a whole new piercing ($120). unfortunately, if you're looking for a piercer, I wouldn't recommend. down below will include the exact piercing. She pierced me with and pus coming out of it because it's incorrect for an initial piercing.
