this was the WORST piercing experience I have had. first of all, HE GAVE ME THE WORNG PERINCING. I asked for a hidden helix and he gave me a helix. second of all he was INCREDIBLY rude from the moment I got there he gave me a dirty look. then I asked questions he got angry at me. Then he gave me ZERO instructions on how to care for my piercing. the pull tray of jewelry I picked out and processed to tell me its 300 dollars and then got mad when I said I wanted cheaper. The pricing was 100 dollars when I got my tongue priced at 70 at a much better place. fourth of all they didn't even ask for ID. so now I have to pay AGAIN for the right piercing. safe to say I will not be returning and neither should you. read more

Don't go here. Both my sister and I got foot tattoos and they came out horrible. Rob was the artist and when we reached out about getting it touched up it took multiple texts and over a week to hear back. All we got was a passive aggressive text back about coming back in. Also we never signed papers or had to show our ID's....sketchy. So disappointed, because these were sister tattoos and meant something deep to us. read more

I wish I could give this 0 stars. First complaint would be Ashley scheduling the appointment for 11 am on a Friday (when supposedly they do not open until noon, which I was unaware of or I would have mentioned it.) I even confirmed with her a few days before the appointment and she did not correct the time on her end or say otherwise. I drove over an hour away and arrived at 10:50 am for my 11 am appointment that SHE scheduled. I messaged her at 10:57 am after seeing that the hours posted on the front door said noon. She responded at 11:32 am saying the appointment is for 12 and that she needed to drop medicine off at the school quick for her daughter, but assured that she will be there for noon. It would have been nice for her to not schedule the appointment for 11 and tell me that she was available for that time when clearly the shop isn't even open at that time. At that point it was already almost noon and I didn't want to deal with the headache of figuring out the deposit if we left so it was like "why not" we can wait a few more minutes. Went inside the shop at noon to wait, waited around....12:45 on rolled around and there was still no sign of Ashley (even after being assured by the artist that was at the shop that she would be there shortly. Now, I'm a pretty patient person, but I started to lose my patience around that time especially once it was over an hour since she last said that she just needed to swing by her daughters school. By 1:15 pm, I didn't want anything to do with the shop anymore or with getting a tattoo (technically it was over 2 hours past the appointment time at that point) and asked the artist that was at the shop for the deposit that was paid to Ashley back, but was told that we needed to ask Ashley for the money. At that point, felt like there was no choice, but to wait. Needless to say, Ashley did not walk into the shop until around 1:30 pm. I can't even say that the service and this experience was saved by how amazing the tattoos came out because they ended up coming out like shit since she had to rush to complete two small tattoos done by 3. You can clearly see all the mistakes in the tattoo from the messy lines to the lines that are overdrawn. I wish I never came upon this place, I would choose elsewhere. read more

This was, hands down, the worst experience with a tattoo shop that I have ever encountered. I asked Rob, the owner, to do full sleeves, neck and chest and provided him with a sketch of an idea and numerous references. I wanted snakes coiling in and out of roses on each arm, the heads of the snakes onto the chest. He said he would work up a tight draft of the idea in two weeks. Two weeks came, he had nothing to show and he said that he needed more time. Weeks turned into months, 3 months to be exact. Appointment after appointment, he had nothing to show. Then he told me it was too difficult to draw it out on paper and wanted to do the preliminary line art right on the skin. Being eager to get this thing going, I agreed, as he seemed confident in his suggestion. The night before I was scheduled to get this done, I received this email from him: ----------- Joe, After much thought and deliberation about the design and layout of your potential tattoo, I do not feel as though I am the appropriate artist at this time. After the drawings and back and forth, I feel as though we will not come to a consensus. Please understand your deposit will be retained for the time and services I have provided in the interim. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the shop. Thanks, Rob M. ----------- Thing is, there was never any back and forth or drawings done. He did one light sketch of a snake design that took about 5 minutes. I went to his shop to talk to him about his decision to abruptly quit on me at the last minute and asked him if he feels justified about retaining the deposit fee since he really did nothing. It was like talking to a stone. He just sat there with his tired stoner eyes and simply told me to get lost. I'm an accomplished designer and owner of a providence based design company. I've been in business for over 25 years and I've never once treated a client in the manner Rob treated me at New Addiction Tattoo. I'm truly let down and dumbfounded for my experience there. I would never recommend anyone to go there as I found Rob to be an extremely unprofessional and uncaring individual. I have since found another artist, capable, talented and eager to work on my tattoo, Rob at Richmond Street Tattoo. This is a great place - wish it was my first stop. I am psyched and looking forward to the journey! read more

Very unprofessional,Called one day in advance 10-17-17 for an appointment for a military tat explained the size of the tat and she said she could make me her 1st appointment on 10-18-17, I showed up on agreed time 11:00am to meet Devon she looked at the tattoo I had drawn on paper and she said it was too big, I told her it had to be shrunk down too 1''X4.5" that's just 5 letters, She says "I thought it would be smaller could we reschedule so I don't keep my 1st appointment waiting" I was her 1st appointment. Now keep in mind I was giving a second chance to this place because they blew out my last tattoo which was only two letters. This place needs to shut down it is the worst place I have ever dealt with, I recommend that any of my Military Police buddies find another reputable place to get inked. read more

Justin did my first two tattoos. Both experiences I had with him were great!! He is a very talented and professional artist -- his drawings are amazing, his station is always clean, and although he is a quiet guy, he has a good sense of humor (which helped me calm down a lot when I got my first tattoo). I would recommend him to anyone. Prices are fair and if you're hoping to get tattooed without making an appointment, this shop is a good choice since they almost always have time for walk-ins.
