Wow these guys are amazing! This was my first time using movers for a long distance move from Southern California to the Bay Area and I'm so impressed. I was moving from a 1 bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom apartment. From the initial contact regarding price quotes to final delivery, everything was fast and seamless. I requested a quote from Yelp and instantly heard back with a fair and transparent quote. I was in communication with Mary and Sonya via email and they were very thorough and professional. They answered all of my questions with detail. They confirmed with me the day prior to make sure the move was good to go. On the morning of, I received a text message from Ali approximately 1 hour before arrival time and they arrived right on time. Ali and Aziz were the best! Incredibly professional, hardworking and speedy. They helped pack up some of my loose items, wrapped up and disassembled my furniture and loaded it all onto the truck in 2 hours! They were able to drive up the same day and deliver my items the same evening. Everything was unloaded and reassembled in about 1.5 hours. Ali went above and beyond to make sure communication was open since my family member was receiving the move drop off. He texted my family member 30 minutes prior to arrival and called and FaceTimed me to verify where and how items would be moved. Payment was smooth as well, no hidden fees or additional charges and was easily coordinated. Both movers wore masks at all times while moving items as well. The only thing worth noting is that I requested for drop off to be the next morning but they asked if I could do drop off the evening of. It was not a big deal and ended up working better for me and my family but I required a bit of coordination for me. All in all I'm so happy and pleased with their service and I will highly recommend using Sinatra especially with Ali and Aziz! read more

We have been really fortunate to have had really great movers in multiple cities but found Sinatra to be below average, which was surprising since we only looked at 5-star movers. We moved only a few blocks away from a 2-bd apartment to a townhouse. The move took an ok amount of time, but they took much longer to wrap things when we had already pre-wrapped the furniture we wanted to be wrapped (they also charged $140 for the materials). They also damaged multiple items by leaving them carelessly; the box spring literally fell over off their truck because they didn't place it properly. Moving during COVID is already stressful, and I understand that it's hard to breathe through the masks. However, despite wearing masks, they did not cover their noses and would frequently move them all the way down when outside. Just want others to know that upfront if you're concerned about safety! Lastly, there was an issue with another move, and so Ali was preoccupied with dealing with that instead of helping with our move. He had to step out mid-move and had to be replaced. At the beginning, he had claimed they couldn't take card because the office was closed on the weekend, but when the other team member was asking about payment, he asked if we wanted to do card or cash. This definitely didn't sit well with us, and we wouldn't use them again. read more

We had to move our business during the Covid crisis, and after reading the reviews on Yelp for Sinatra Movers we scheduled a move with them at the beginning of the month. The day started with initially being told we would expect to see movers around 2pm, but we did not receive an update until we called and were told they would be at least three hours after that time. When the moving team arrived, they were efficient in packing everything in the moving truck and transporting it to our location. We even asked questions about some of our items and were assured that everything we inquired about made it to the truck, and at the end we were told everything we owned was removed from the truck. Since we have been in our new location, we have found two items missing: one is a MacPro computer, and one is a box of irreplaceable memorabilia from our clients that has been gifted to us over the years. We have contacted the moving company multiple times to inquire about these items or receive any sort of answer to where they may have gone as the movers assured us everything was loaded onto the truck. When asked, we were told that the movers took everything off of the truck and nothing was left behind, and inquiry calls were dismissed. We were told we would receive call-backs about these inquiries and did not. We had to continually follow up only to be told they couldn't provide us answers or an explanation and be dismissed rudely. We trusted this company with our belongings and to find that items they accounted for themselves are missing with no explanation is disheartening. The response we received from the company is equally disappointing. Very poor communication overall especially from management. read more

Been meaning to write this review since I moved in October 2019. I found Sinatra movers easy to work with as I had special move requirements. I needed movers to pack my boxed belongings and furniture into a U-haul which I then drove out of the region. I had everything pre-packed except for furniture and there were no appliances. I also provided security straps and rope as not truck or moving equipment was needed from Sinatra. Pre-Move: Andy provided pretty regular and thorough communication. Day of Move: the two young men (Ivan and another tall blond Russian guy, who's name I no longer remember - sorry) contacted me with their ETA and were on-time. They were polite, respectful and quick. They had my things packed and secured inside the truck well under the minimum time requirement. I also had all boxes labeled with contents and room assignment which they said made loading the truck much easier. All items arrived at my new place with no damage. Note: I had hard wood floors in old apartment and there were no scuffs or scratches. No dings on doorways either. They were careful. They were tipped, which they deserved. Cost: I found their pricing to be pretty much on par with other movers. I would have loved a small price break for using my own truck and straps/rope and didn't like the long minimum hour requirement, but I understand the need for it. Overall, I would recommend this mover if you are in the LA area. I don't give 5-star ratings that often, but even with my two minor gripes it was a positive experience considering moving is so stressful in and of itself. Thanks! read more

I had multiple moves in my life and Sinatra Movers have surpassed every moving company I had ever hired! Ricardo and Xavier helped me out on a last minute move. First of all, I was super impressed that they were able to maneuver their truck on my move-out location (I live on a super small street). They moved all our boxes and furniture into the truck quickly. They were never afraid to jump in and help us move out something (which is VERY appreciating especially since my partner has arthritis in her hands). Second of all, they disassembled and re-assembled my furniture FAST. It took me and my partner 3 hours to assemble a bed frame while it barely took them 15 minutes to put the whole thing together, not to mention that I didn't have power yet and they assembled everything in the dark! Finally, these guys were awesome to work with. They were funny and made the whole move easy and stress fee. I work in the medical field and get stressed fast (even more now with having to handle a move) but these guys were therapeutic.
