Cheesesteak

Very solid sub shop that gives huge cheesesteaks. It is a little store and it's pretty easy to miss, but a great spot to get a nice sandwich. I wanted to keep my order simple and try their cheesesteak with mushrooms, a salted caramel cookie, and a chocolate chip cookie. The sandiwchnitself was delicious. Packed with tasty mushrooms and juicy meat. Once again, the portion you get is substantial. And for $12, it's a fantastic price. Would definitely recommend. The cookies, though, were a bit of a let down. The cookies are not made in the shop and are bought from some place. They were kind of stale and not that flavorful. They were also dry. If you want dessert, just go to some other place nearby. All in all, a very nice sandwich store with delicious cheesesteaks, but the dessert is not the best.

I haven't had a slush puppie in soooo long I'm so happy!!!

Simply Subs is amazing!! Unfortunately I haven't gotten any pics of my food because it's too good to wait. I've had a regular Turkey sub which was classic and delicious. I recently had the cheesesteak sub and WOW I was impressed. I added peppers and onions to it but honestly it didn't need it. It was truly amazing. They also have Slush Puppies which I really love. You order at the window and then can sit in your car to wait as they text you when your order is ready. It usually takes about ten minutes. Overall, don't miss this spot!

Cheesesteak Hoagie Sub

Really tasty subs. The cheesesteaks are as good as advertised. Their chicken cheesesteak which they call is very good also. It's their version of a BBQ chicken sub or a Buffalo chicken sub if you're curious why there isn't a Buffalo chicken sub on the menu it's the chicken cheesesteak and then you can add the sauces you want to make it a Buffalo chicken. The staff is very friendly and good to have conversation with. It's take out only but the staff is quick with making the subs and they are very quality. The subs however arent overly filling and pretty easy to finish. The prices of the subs might be a tiny bit high also but the taste is worth it. Overall a very quality sub shop

Italian Sub

After hearing about simply subs from many Pittsburgh friends we knew it would be a must try. We went today for lunch and were not disappointed! First- the staff are lovely. This is a takeout joint but plenty of people were enjoying their lunches in the spacious lot. Very social distance friendly! Second- the food was ready within 10 minutes. Quick fast and easy. We ordered a Blt sub and a hot Italian with mayo and hot peppers. Third- the food was absolutely fantastic. Haven't had a better Italian maybe anywhere. They use soft Mancini rolls and super fresh ingredients. The meat is fresh cut and the veggies were incredibly crisp. Overall I would recommend this place to anybody! We will definitely be back.

Meatball Sub

A small sub shop on Route 8 which I have tried a couple times now. The homemade meatball and hot sausage I tried the first time were both very good. Plenty of green peppers on the hot sausage sub. The fish sandwich I ordered on my second visit was good but needed something added. Looking forward to trying the roast beef and Italian subs in the future. Service was very friendly.

Quick service. Ordered a cheesesteak and took about 5 mins for a to go order. A few tables outdoors but this is more of a grab and go spot. Sub was okay, probably my fault for getting grilled mushrooms on it. Got a half size and perfect size for lunch.

Are there places to sit indoors? Or is it strictly a take out restaurant?

Hi Jeanine, we do not currently have indoor seating, hopefully by next year we will. We do however have some outdoor picnic tables

So good! Everything is good! Excellent service. I highly recommend! Best subs ever! Fresh food! All…read moregood. No complaints. Big shout out to everyone who works there. Not sure of their names but they all get A plus plus. All around a great place to eat.

I've been to Dominic's several times over the years, but what happened on 10/8/21 was out of the…read moreordinary. First off, they've moved. They are no longer at Lowe's at 200 Sara Way in Rostraver Township/Belle Vernon; they've moved down the road to Val's Beer Distributor & Car Wash. I had a BOGO coupon for a free sandwich (you can get a regular-sized sandwich,...about 6",...or a large). The young man who was behind the counter was busting his rear end working on orders. There was one guy ahead of me who appeared to have ordered two large sandwiches (let's call them what they are,...subs, hoagies, grinders, etc.). Then there was me, then a guy after me. As I order, I notice there are 6-7 large sandwiches already made and wrapped. In a few minutes, some utility company workers roll up,...they apparently pre-ordered lunch. Their total was $64 and some change. The utility company worker pays cash,...and proceeds to give the young man a $1.00 tip. Really? On a $64 order? Sometimes people just...plain...suck. Now, with my BOGO, my order came to between $7.50 and $8.00. I give the young man a $10 and tell him to keep the change. He thanked me for the tip, commenting it was more than what the $64-order guy gave him. He was still "upset" over the chintzy tip he received on the $64 order, so I gave him another $6.00 in an attempt to "restore his faith in humanity." [Ok, it was to make up for the utility company worker being a jagoff (trust me, they make decent money).] As for the sandwiches (we got a pastrami and hot sausage); they were tasty and were flavored well. Both had peppers, onions and cheese. A little on the salty side, but tasty nonetheless. The buns were nice and soft, and fresh as a morning daisy. My only complaint - just wish there was a little more meat in the pastrami sandwich (I'm sure they're bound by some corporate standard). The prices are comparable to a Place like Subway, but taste better. Hats off to the young man working there. Would we go back? No reason not to.
