In 2019 Tom replaced my water pressure valve - it started leaking in less than a year! He was nice and came back to replace it- said it was poor unit. Today, in 2023 (only 4 yrs later) I found out it is leaking again. It will be replaced but not by Simply Plumbing. Tom should have used better parts and not create a hassle for me. read more

I needed a gas line lowered to accommodate my new gas range. Tom arrived as promised. He was able to do the job quickly. While pushing the stove back to the wall he noticed the side lip on the top of the range was not flush with the counter (the delivery men from Costco said my counters were uneven). Tom pulled out his wrench and lowered the feet of the stove and the side lip is where they should be. This service was above and beyond what the job should have been. He is my plumber for life. I got a recommendation for Simply Plumbing about a year ago and contacted him to prepare the plumbing for new sinks and install two heavy sinks. He was enthusiastic and wanted the project. Very bad experience for me. He often did not show up, did not do what he said he would do, chipped my newly-installed beautiful porcelain tile (! Wow how do you chip brand new porcelain tile? Drop a very heavy tool from high up?), left a mess on my tile floor (did not protect my floor by using a drop cloth or something when demolishing parts of the drywall) which I cleaned up when I saw it after that visit, and other things. Now I still need to have someone finish the job bc some fittings were not installed. At one point he told me he wished he hadn't taken the job bc installation of this type of sink is not his specialty. This despite having opened the boxes and showed him the sinks on the first appointment when I asked him if he wanted to do it. I do not recommend. read more

I came across Tom (and his support, Andy) recently to tackle a leaking problem. Not an easy spot to locate the source, having spoken with a few, I had a good idea where the leak could be coming from. Before ending up with Tom, I'd had a few plumbers come over to take a look. They all wanted to turn this problem into a major tear up job in order to make sure it is fixed and the job warrantied. Needless to say, a big $ repair job. When Tom came, he listened to me, assessed the accuracy of my hunch, located the exact area, gave me a quote on the spot, including ground restoration. Agreed. He proceed with the job. Kept the job area clean. And in the end, did not charge me for Andy's support work. Tom is quick, efficient, communicative. I don't think people like him because he is inexpensive. Thought my fee was very reasonable, clear and upfront. People flock to Tom because of his approach to the work from beginning to end.
