Wow! I contacted Joseph's company around 9:30 AM, and the job is complete; it's 12:30 PM! Joseph responded promptly to my inquiry, kept me posted on arrival time, and did a phenomenal job on two clogged shower drains and a couple of clogged sink drains. Responds in a timely manner and does a good job. My new plumber lives in Alga Hills and we have used him twice and are still happy.

We were in a pinch as water was rising into our shower drains and the toilet wouldn't flush. Luckily, I caught Joseph at a good time and he was here in less than an hour! He snaked our line and got things flowing like normal and advised us on some extra plumbing issues in the future. He also cleared our hot water line to our kitchen sink that I had been lagging on. Great work, reasonably priced and very professional. I'm just glad we've finally found a plumber we can trust and cares about his clients! read more

Now thats great customer service!!Hopefully i won't have any more plumbing issues but if I do I'll be calling Hillebrand. read more

Joseph recently came out to assist with some plumbing issues. Lovely guy, very polite and professional. He was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job at walking me through the various options we had for our issues. One of the problems he fixed immediately, we'll have to get him back to fix another as I need to purchase some specific gear. The other issue he wasn't able to assist on but he gave me a great recommendation to get me all sorted. Overall, super happy with his workmanship, will definitely use again. read more

I've been relying on Joseph Hillebrand for my plumbing needs for about 5 years now. He has replaced the sewer line in my yard after it was crushed by tree roots. He replaced a toilet in the upstairs bathroom, and fixed another toilet downstairs that was leaking. Today (Monday ) he replaced my water heater after I texted him on Saturday. He is reliable and professional. I really appreciate his work ethic. You might find a cheaper plumber, but remember you get what you pay for. I highly recommend Hillebrand Drain Service for all your plumbing needs. read more

My garbage disposal stopped working and my sink wasn't draining. After having numerous negative experiences with other plumbers, I called Hillebrand after looking over his reviews. Joseph called me right back and said he could be over in a few minutes. Showed up about a half hour later, and within a very short time, fixed both my drain and installed a new disposal. I will definitely call on him again if I need any more plumbing work. read more

I recommend this drain service because they did a good job and responded quickly to my requests. For some reason, Yelp will not post a review that is too short. They only added as a tip... So I'm adding all of the unnecessary text. read more

Was looking for someone to clear a seemingly impossible drain clog issue, due to a contractor who remain nameless, and we got a hold of Joe, based on good reviews here on yelp, and if I could give him 10 stars, I would. He was fast, communicated extremely well, and, his prices are very fair along with high-quality work. He was even able to put in a drain clean out that was previously screwed up by someone else. Joseph was awesome, he came out and saved us from a backed up main sewerline that made the place inhabitable. Super nice and super straight forward to deal with, he was very upfront about costs and expectations, which I appreciated a lot. He had the right equipment to pin point the EXACT location of a root ball that had completely clogged my main sewerline, got in there with a minimal size hole and was able to repair the pipe and add a cleanout for easy access in the future. These are the type of tradesmen that you want working on your place; honest owner/operators who know their feild inside and out and will do things accturately and correctly, saving you time and money in the long run. So we encountered the old "sink clog" issue...but what made it more pressing is that we live on the first floor of a condo complex with a second floor directly above us. Fortunately we have great neighbors, who held off using their bathroom until the calvary could arrive. Calls were made to four, five companies...couldn't get a visit for a couple of days. Then Hillebrand Drain Service was called. Joseph Hillebrand is the owner/operator and asked "how soon would you like me to come out?" We saw Joseph the next morning as promised...and like an emergency room doctor, asked us questions and then began the fix. Maybe the unclogging of a drain is routine...but what struck me as not routine was Joseph telling us things about why it's not unusual to see clogs in these two story condo units built in the 70's, how we need to minimize hair down the drain...and how because our unit is a vacation condo...that we should have the place checked at least once per month...especially since our second floor neighbors live there full time and if there was a clog, wouldn't take a lot to come into a disastrous situation. I would highly recommend Hillebrand Drain Service...Joseph Hillebrand is prompt, responsive, conscientious, and gets the job done. read more

I had an emergency with my water heater and Hillebrand Services was efficient in helping me. When I heard of my water heater problem, I searched Yelp and was confused on who to choose. I highly recommend Hillebrand Drain Services. read more

I sent a message to Joseph Hillebrand Drain Services on Friday evening because our kitchen sink was draining extremely slow. I checked and cleaned the p-trap myself, but the issue was further down the drain line. He responded promptly and said he could come by my Carlsbad home on Saturday and scheduled a time in the late morning. He arrived on-time, was wearing a protective mask, and fixed the issue by snaking the drain out to the main sewer line. He was professional and friendly and the cost of the service was fair. I used Venmo to pay and I'm extremely happy with the overall job he performed on such short notice over the weekend. I definitely recommend his services for all plumbing needs. Thank you! read more
