What's up Yelpies, Let's just sum this up to Pho-nomenal food and outstanding service. They don't skip a beat on the flavor and the meat is so tender it will melt in your mouth. I'm literally at a loss for words right now.( you know that's not normal for me...) Get in here and enjoy Simply Pho for all of its delicious food and drinks. Cheers

Best Pho I have ever had! I have tried many! This is my families go to. The staff is very welcoming. It's usually 6 or more of us, they are very accommodating. The food is superb ever time. We have the 101 and 102. The orange chicken is the best over ever had. Mongolian beef and calamari. Delicious!! Always clean and family friendly.

Got it delivered. Was very good. Light tasting was so good I ended getting more. I would order again.

Chicken & broccoli on the left Noodles (not chow mein!) on the right but that's what they're calling the noodles.

I want to give 5 stars but just can't. The more I think of their misrepresentation of a side just irks me!!! I ordered chicken and broccoli with a small side of chow mein to go. I ordered at 4:57 pm. They were a bit busy, but it took over 40 minutes to get it. I have been to busy Chinese restaurants before and have never had that long of a wait whether seated in a group or as take out. When I opened my containers at home I found a well portioned container of chicken and broccoli with a good balance of meat to veggies. So I was pleased. BUT then I opened the small box of "chow mein" which was really just a box of yakisoba noodles. No veggies, no sauce, no nothing just a box of noodles. How the heck is a box of noodles considered chow mein?. It was not listed as as "chow mein noodles" and so this was a huge shock and disappointment. $6.00 for a small box of noodles! Thinking there was a mistake with my order, I called and was told a small side is just that.... a box of fricking noodles. If you want actual chow mein you have to get a full order. Without veggies, meat or sauce etc it is not chow mein it is just noodles. So call it noodles! Due to the amount of time it took to get chicken and broccoli with a box of noodles and their misrepresentation of their small chow mein it doesn't matter how the food was prepared or tasted. This is a 1 star experience and I will eat where the food description matches the food delivered.

Too Simply Pho or Simply NOT Pho would be more accurate for the name! I used to work and lived in the Salem-Keizer area for 15 years. I still drive through, check out, and support new eateries every chance I come through. I was excited about Simply Pho and What A Big Disappointment! Perhaps this place is good for other Chinese dishes which I will never know because I will definitely not come back nor recommend it to anyone. If you want mediocre Pho, this is not even worth your penny, let alone authentic Vietnamese Pho. You'd be better off spending your money at Kim Huong on Silverton Road; this place is family-owned and it's as original as it gets for Pho in Salem. Kim Huong is not the best Pho, yet it's solid and decent for the area. As a born and raised Vietnamese in Viet Nam for my first 2 decades, I should have left when the waitress told me there was no Vietnamese or Vietnamese speaking in the kitchen or owner. She thinks they are Cantonese. Again, I still have fond memories of the area and want to continue to support any new business and root for more. The second red flag for me was when I saw broccoli, bok choy, and carrot slides in the Special Pho-Pho Noodle Soup with Wonton I ordered! There was way too much noddle in proportion with everything else that came with it. The broth was completely bland with absolutely no flavor whatsoever. The word Pho should not even be associated with such bland and unflavored broth! I came in around 5 p.m. on a rainy Sunday in September 2023 and the place was packed with around 5 people waiting for a table and take out the wait was 20-30 minutes every time the phone rang and the waitress told them so. The place is clean, cozy L-shape at the corner to the right of Great Harvest Bread Co. on Commercial Street and Madrona Avenue, across Freddy's. There is no zero star on Yelp, so one star is for Simply NOT Pho, but clean.

I called in a placed order to go of the vermicelli noodle bowl with egg rolls, my bowl came with absolutely no noodles. It was loaded with bean sprouts, which I am assuming they threw a ton in there to replace the noodle and tons of lettuce, my bowl had pork and shrimp and I have a seafood allergy. I would never order shrimp a day in my life, and I specifically told the man at the counter over the phone that I wanted a vermicelli bowl with eggroll and extra peanut sauce, and my bowl came with absolutely none of what I asked for, and it came with an excessive amount of lettuce and no vermicelli noodle!!!! I have tried to call them, but they are closed now so I'm going to call them when they open back up and ask for a refund. This is the third time this restaurant has failed to provide food to my quality and liking and it seems like they are skimping out on ingredients when they run low and that is absolutely unacceptable and uncalled for especially when you have customers paying for something they are expecting, and they are not receiving.

#101 large - good amount of protein under the noodles

The steak pho is quite mid. I would end my review here, but yelp wants me to write more.

THE BEST salt & pepper tofu. Really good options for both the vegan and meat-eaters in your family.

Everything is immaculate and very nicely decorated. Once we were seated we were provided with an extensive menu of dining options. Everything on the menu looked incredible! I had difficulty choosing one thing, so I chose TWO! I chose the Banh Mi sandwich and the Wonton Noodle Soup. I love the type of rolls the sandwich was served on. The outside is crisp and flaky while the inside is soft and chewy. I asked for chicken as the meat choice. I enjoy how the carrots and cucumbers are sliced in a square straw. I think that provides a nice texture in every bite. The wonton noodle soup was delicious. I've never had soft wontons before. They've always been crispy nibbles on a side plate. I like that in this dish they were part of the soup. I was a little disappointed in the vermicelli noodles though. They were nicely done and very tasty, but there were so many that they clumped together and were difficult to get a bite of without getting a whole mouthful. Also of note were the drinks. I chose the pineapple tea and it was MARVELOUS! All in all, lunch was an amazing experience and I will always remember that meal with my stepmom.

Both the older restaurant "Pho Keizer" (just South of here on River Road) have the same owners, their offerings and quality are similar. My wife loves their soup bases. Since she is quite sensitive to hot spices, we are careful to order the lowest level of chiles offered in dishes we order. I, then, increase the heat level by using the chiles available at the table. In that way we are able to share different dishes served "family style." My own favorite dishes are the egg rolls (Chả Giò) and the vermicceli salad (with grilled pork and egg roll). We also dislike the fresh coriander so ask them not to use it in dishes we order.

Unlike most places that make the dish look like a lot by packing it on a small plate, this one had a massive plate and piled it high. Even the kid's meal was the size of an adult portion! My pad Thai was supposed to be a level 4 spice, but it wasn't spicy at all, and it was a bit on the sweeter side -- not overwhelming, but sweeter than I expected. I also tried the house special fried rice, which was gigantic but sadly lacked flavor. I really didn't enjoy it. The chicken tenders were crispy but a little dry. However, the flourless chocolate cake was amazing! I'd never had it before, but it was so rich and delicious. Highly recommend that dessert! I'm giving 4 stars mainly because of the huge portion sizes. The food overall would probably be closer to 3 stars for me, but the portions definitely stood out. As for the ambiance, it wasn't the prettiest place, definitely an old-school vibe, but it was huge and clean, so no complaints there. Service was just your standard, nothing extraordinary.

The yakisoba noodles were drenched in sauce and didn't taste right, little flavor other than just sauce overload. Also had a pasta dish with chicken that was overcooked and dry. So I'll probably go back for a couple things, but just a little disappointed in some of the food.
