So turns out finding a new place wasn't as hard as I thought. Ended up re-craving it again after last night so I decided to go again and try. It was thoroughly impressed with how deceivingly it is on the inside and how quickly I was seated and only that was served. They constantly checked up on me as I enjoy my food and definitely felt like a fat boy after that. Everything from the eggrolls to perfectly seasoned to the being complementary to all the flavors was beautiful as well as with the passionfruit smoothie which honestly took the cake for everything. I'm not sure if they do this for everybody, but I also received a among being pudding, which is also very good and honestly, I would buy that full price if I could get a whole bowl. I've been in there quite a few times I've never had a bad meal until last night. We picked up food to go and the crispy chicken noodles. The chicken was horrible was dry thigh meat. I also asked for an extra peanut sauce to go with the two orders of spring rolls that didn't come, and I ordered an iced tea and a iced coffee on the ice. I live in LA and know some of the best Pho sits just below in the OC so looked for the nearest thing off the property and was delighted when I was quickly greeted and asked what I wanted. We've been coming to this pho shop for years since it opened. It's also been a reliable place to get pho in South OC. The waiters are quick and attentive and pricing used to be fairly decent for what was served. They have a pretty good amount of dishes on their menu. We order a good rotation of their pho which includes the house special pho which is a large combination of everything (rare steak, brisket, meatballs and seafood items), the rare steak pho, the grilled pork pho, the chicken pho, and their bun (noodle) nem nuong. Even with the ridiculous price increase during the past 2 years, this is still one of the best pho places in the area. Although we don't come here as often, it's still our local go to spot in South OC. As a side note, if you're comparing this to any of the pho places in Westminster, this pales in comparison to them and would be considered mediocre at best, but for the area you can't get a better bowl. read more

I ordered the bone rib pho and it was good! It doesn't compare anywhere near phoholic or pho lovers in my opinion which are still my favourite pho places. They always had very fast service within ordering we received our food within 5-10 mins. They also serve a small tapioca dessert after which was delicious. The reason they lost a star is because we ordered their popcorn chicken for the kids and it was very dry over cooked I feel and lacked flavour. My kids didn't like it nor did I. This place has a comfortable ambiance. As some patrons just left, they had a few booths that were waiting to be cleaned. They did this fast and we were seated in less than five minutes. Their service was prompt and servers were very friendly. Presentation of the food was appetizing. The reason for taking a star away is because the grilled pork was on the tough side. 3.5 rounded up to 4 because service is pretty awesome here. We came in for an early dinner with a relatively large party and had no problem getting parking or seating a little before 5pm. My kids were slightly overwhelmed with the menu and I think they panic-ordered, leading to some questionable life decisions for them when the food came out. I tried the spring rolls, fried calamari, combination fried rice, and shrimp crispy egg noodles, and had a bit of their pho as well. My kids also ordered the honeydew boba. The spring rolls were good - lots of filling, very tightly wrapped, and had a good sauce. The fried calamari was super crispy but way too salty for my taste. The sauce that came with it was pleasantly spicy - very mild. The combination fried rice was pretty bland. The flavor came from the sausages, but that was about it. The shrimp crispy egg noodles were pretty good! Wonderful crunch on the outside of the plate, and nice and soft noodles on the inside with the sauce. I liked all of the toppings - that shrimp was pretty good. The honeydew boba was pretty good! tasted like honeydew, and the clear boba was fun to eat for the kids. The drink also came with whipped cream and cherries, which was unexpected. Service was on point. They saw that we had 2 toddlers and asked if we wanted small sharing bowls for them. For the boba, they asked (without being prompted) if we'd like for them to split the drink into two cups - how thoughtful! Each cup was topped with whipped cream and a cherry.
