We came here a few weeks ago but decided to eat something else and left. Came back again last night since it was so cold and my husband wanted to have some rice porridge. He had never been a porridge guy until lately since he tasted the porridge at another restaurant and really liked it. I got their #48, noodles with grilled beef, shrimp, and egg rolls. I didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised finding out how good that was. The beef was tender, perfectly seasoned and not too salty, and flavorful. Same with the grilled shrimp. The egg rolls had a nice perfect crunch without being too oily. And they used the old-fashioned rice paper wrap, which you don't find anymore these days! Only wish the noodles were warmer. The were actually cold noodles. My husband ordered the combo porridge with chicken, beef, and shrimp. It was very good. Service was excellent. The lady server was friendly and attentive, she kept on checking on us and asked if we needed anything else. She was quick to bring what we needed. As soon as I sat down, I knew the food would be amazing, I wasn't wrong whatsoever. I got the daily special. I got a large bowl of combination pho, a spring roll, and a Dr Pepper. For everything to be both efficient and delicious is a win no matter the price. But my total for everything wasn't even twenty dollars. I stopped by Pho Ha Noi this afternoon for lunch. When I walked in, I asked if I could sit outside, and the waitress said that was fine and handed me a menu. Since I was dining alone, I chose a small two-seat table. The waitress came out shortly after to take my order -- I went with the lunch special: pho nam, chả giò, and an iced tea. Service was fairly quick, but I was a little confused when my food was served at a larger four-person table nearby -- the same one where the waitress had placed a box of utensils, napkins, and straws earlier. When I asked if the meal was for me, she seemed surprised and said, "Oh, you want to sit there?" I replied, "Yes, please," and she moved some things over. I personally got out of my seat to move my bowl of soup. Not a big deal, but it felt a bit disorganized. The pho was delicious, just as I remembered -- flavorful broth and tender meat. The chả giò was also tasty, though it would've been nice if it came out with the rest of the meal. Unfortunately, the iced tea tasted strongly of dish soap, which was disappointing. They were kind enough to offer me a replacement drink when I mentioned it, but I was hesitant to finish it after the first experience. I eventually had to go inside to request the check since I was short on time and no one had come by. I used to eat here regularly when I worked in this plaza and always enjoyed the food. The quality of the pho is still excellent, but the service this visit felt a bit off compared to before. Just this past Saturday February 21 2026, my wife and I were very hungry and decided to try this place. We were warmly greeted by a sweet lady that politely sat us. She promptly handed us the menu, which was easy to read since it had pictures, numbers, and the description of what came in the dish. The sweet lady, who at this point we knew was our waitress, with a soft voice, a warm smile, and highly customer oriented took our order, and the food didn't take long to be served. First time at this restaurant and I can tell you, I was not disappointed at all! Do not know the exact names of what we had, but I'll describe them for you. We started with fried tofu that was probably one of the yummiest things I've had in years. The flavor was good and had two different types of onions and pickled carrots. Then my friend and I shared. Pho soup with both raw steak and brisket. The flavor was excellent lovely adding the bean sprouts was an extra touch. We then shared some sort of vermicelli meal that had beef in a lemongrass sauce and shrimp and two fried Vietnamese eggrolls, salad, and the vermicelli. The flavors were outstanding. Once again everything tasted great! I decided to stop by after Sunday Service and was greeted immediately by Tweet, she's honestly one of the best! She's the only one out on the floor and is extremely efficient. She's takes all orders, brings out the food, clears all tables, is actively checking in to make sure you don't need anything else!! Not sure why this was my first time trying this place but recently ordered it on doordash and I was impressed! Competitive pricing and everything was packaged so neatly. My husband ordered the pho with rare steak, brisket, and tripe. I wasn't too hungry so I had the plain broth and noodles, then we shared the spring rolls. We LOVED the spring roll sauce! I Just got a bowl of their house mixed Pho. To me that's always the defining item at any Vietnamese restaurant. As always I got a large to-go. This is really solid Pho, at a good price for the area. They gave me a very generous portion, and especially plenty of meat, including what makes Pho authentic, the tripe and the tendon. Plus lots of authentic Thai basil and sprouts. The only negative I have is that the broth is thin, and does not pass the gelatin test. Really good, authentic Pho will turn into jelly when cooled down overnight. This does not. So you don't get the lip-smacking luxurious mouth-feel of the very best Pho. Still, very good, and sadly much, much better than the place right by my house off LaPaz in Laguna Hills, so going with 5 stars. Will absolutely be back. Like some of my fellow yelp*ers; it was a solid, middle-of-the-road, experience. Would I go back? Sure! When I do revisit Pho Ha Noi, I will need to try the bún cha. Hanoi-style rice vermicelli with grilled pork/meatballs; known as Bun Cha Hanoi in Vietnam. Bún cha is one of Hanoi's most popular dishes. It's the Northern Vietnamese equivalent of the bun thit nuong from Southern Vietnam. The two dishes are similar in using rice noodles with grilled pork, served with a sweet chili dipping sauce and bountiful platter of fresh Vietnamese herbs. But there are very slight differences that most people may not notice. In Bún cha Hanoi, the meat is separated from the noodles. It actually sits in the dipping sauce. You load up noodles with your chopsticks, dunk it in the sauce; then enjoy it with pork and Vietnamese herbs. Note: I am no connoisseur; had to do some research to learn more about it. Hubby shared his cold with me, so I thought soup would be good for lunch today. We were happy to see oxtail on the menu, so he ordered the Pho Duoi Bo (Pho oxtail). I had a taste, and it was good. I like variety, so I selected the Pho Dac Biet (Pho combo with brisket, tendon, and meatball). There was plenty of meat, and the broth was delicious. Some of my noodles were stuck in a clump. The accompanying basil sprigs, sliced jalapenos, lime wedges, and bean sprouts were abundant and very fresh. For an appetizer, we shared the Salt and pepper chicken wings. They came with a sweet chili dipping sauce and garnished with pickled daikon and carrot, as well as slices of jalapeno and onion. The cilantro sprigs were not that fresh. Ordered the pho combination, which had everything you needed -- rare beef, beef brisket, tendon, meatballs, the WORKS! For to go orders, the noodles and meats were packing in a Togo bowl, the broth was in its own separate container, and they packed all the condiments in another baggie. When they first opened years ago, I use to frequent a lot. However, I dined there with my family on several occasions and we caught them overcharging us for items we did not even order. We would pay for our meal and walk away seeing an ice coffee or tea on our receipt even though we didn't order it. This happened several times. After years, I finally returned as my sisters and I were craving some Viet food near home. Here is what I got: Charbroiled Pork and Eggroll Vermicelli $14.95: The eggrolls and the pork were delicious. I wish there was more of it. They give you a big portion. Half was lettuce and the other half was vermicelli. The vermicelli was a bit dry and on the tougher side, but nothing that stopped me from enjoying the meal. I am pretty disappointed in the service here. We ordered 2 charbroiled pork and eggroll vermicelli plates. The first one came out and they said we would have to wait on the second one. I saw that they had peanuts in the first one, and asked to have mine made without the peanuts, since they did not say it came with it, and we were told we had to wait for the second one anyway. However, I ate through half of my bowl and found a bunch of peanuts sitting at the bottom. Note, I am mildly allergic. I cannot imagine someone who is deathly allergic asking for no peanuts and getting told there would be none to find more than a spoonful at the bottom of my bowl. I've ordered delivery here before and the food was just ok. However, we decided to dine in this time on a Friday night. They were pretty busy with only one person working out front. Not sure how many people were cooking in the back but all the food came out really fast and tasted good. We got one pho rare steak, a roasted chicken with coconut rice (Gà roti) dish and a fresh shrimp spring roll appetizer. Both were actually really good. The steak in the pho was a bit over cooked and kinda tough but the broth was good. The chicken dish was great with the chicken cooked perfectly for this style chicken dish, coconut rice was yummy and lots of fresh veggies. They didn't give the traditional soy/oil sauce based sauce that comes with this chicken dish but gave a generic sweet and sour sauce. Still good but this dish would be on another level with that authentic sauce. The fresh shrimp spring rolls were fresh and delicious. The service is just ok. The lady seemed busy so she was short with us, wasn't sure if she was being rude or not lol. However, The food is good enough for me to want to come back and try other dishes. read more

I ate lunch here and found it super disappointing. Ordered pho and iced tea, pho came out quickly but it took a while for the toppings and drink. The waiter splashed a bit of the pho out when placing it down, either didn't notice or didn't care. They don't give you real cutlery here - just a sad small plastic spoon and cheap chopsticks or plastic fork. There was only one employee working the front (seating customers, giving menus, receiving orders, bringing food out, bussing, etc.). The food was okay - super basic, don't expect any veggies it's literally noodles, meat, and a few pieces of onion.
