This will be my new go-to nail salon. A bit of a ways away from me, but I was in the area, so I figured I would stop in. My acrylic nails have lasted me 3 weeks and, despite obvious regrowth, they have all remained intact very nicely. I wish I had read reviews before I came. I asked for a Dazzle nail polish that dries to a hard finish, lasts 10-14 days, and can be removed with regular nail polish remover. The technician directed me to a limited number of colors. As I was ready to pay they told me I had to be careful because "all polishes take time to dry." Kept telling me that no polish dries in 5 minutes that I know is not true. So I'm leaving with a regular manicure that will chip and scratch. Very very disappointed. It seems the technicians are unfamiliar with Dazzle polish. read more

I took my acrylic nails off to give my nails a rest. However I've missed the look so I decided to try getting the gel manicure first. So far I'm really liking them. The polish is super glossy and there are about 4 coats on them so they seem to be holding up and not scratching. Even with the acrylic nails and regular polish I would have already scratched them. Another woman had acrylic with the gel polish on top which she said lasts 5 to 6 weeks, wow! The colors of the gel polish are pretty close to the color of the caps. They seem to have many to pick from. Now I can let my own nails grow and have them look nice, whoo hoo! The color is set, dry and hardened when I left. So cool. read more

Stressful, Upset, Disrespectful! I went here for a pedicure and manicure. I was not happy at all. I can't tell if I even got a pedicure. There was literally just 1 min of feet soaking... the dead skin was not removed... no massage really... no scrubbing... I don't recommend the place. After requesting and finishing up the pedicure I showed a picture of my nails that I want to get done, she said we don't give a trial of nail paint, just pick a color only, and we don't allow to try on the toe, She was just shouting for no reason. very rudely she said we will not do a pedicure and left that place. they don't know how to talk with customers. another customer was also looking and standing with me. So disappointed! After spending over $100 to treat my 7-year-old granddaughter for a Mani/Pedi. I could have cried when I got home and had a chance to look at them well. Nails half-painted, he never worked on my feet like the other salons like Creative nails where I have gone for over two decades. But will travel back to have them do it from now on. This was the first time that I tried this place and I did French dip powder, I'm happy with the job that they've done for me, however they are some certain things that I didn't like about them at all. They're using a blue bowls to soak your nails and the bowls are not clean at all, first I thought only mine is not clean but then I noticed the ones for my mom also is the same and you can clearly see that these bowls haven't been washed for a long time. They never used the towel under my hand, and instead they used a piece of paper! Wherever I've been for manicure at the end they usually use a nice warm towel and then they will put some lotion on your hands but these people never done any of these! Not even a drop of lotion for me or my mom and we both use our own hand cream the moment we got to the car. I would say the job was nicely done I like the shape and everything about my nails, also they are very nice and friendly, the price is the same as other places but you won't get the same service that you usually get in other nail salons. read more

Hate to only give them three stars because Lee and her husband are so nice! They're super welcoming! Unfortunately the low number of stars is first due to the quality of nail polish - starts peeling after just a few days most times I've had my nails done. This also happened with my acrylics when I had them on. Speaking of acrylics, every time I went at least a couple of them would end up looking crooked and they'd often be way too thick. Lastly, they're usually very understaffed so it's not a relaxing experience. You feel rushed the entire time and often times multiple people will be working on your nails. i.e. one comes over and takes your polish off, another files your nails, another paints all while working on other clients in between. There have been times I've gone and been satisfied however more often than not I leave wishing I had gone somewhere else. read more

I had a mani pedi today. They were not really busy, so I'm not sure what the hurry was. I have had many mani pedi's. Never have they been done at the same time. The lady started my pedicure. About 10 min into it. A young boy came and started my manicure. It was very uncomfortable having my arm up in the air while sitting in the chair for the pedicure. He did clip some of the skin around my nails, but it doesn't feel like it. After all other pedicures I felt like I had new feet. Not today‍ I called and made an appointment I would have preferred they said they had not openings instead of being made to feel like I was bothering them. Not counting drying time it took them 35 minutes. I won't be bothering them anymore!!!!!! read more

I had gone to simply perfect for years. So disappointed that I no longer go. Their prices were not consistent. Two times I was asked to remove my old polish while they were busy doing something. I paid to have a service done and could not believe Lee asked me to do that. There was talking on the phone which is so "unprofessional", and they would switch technicians around when they were busy, taking on too many people. I will not be going back. read more

UNCLEAN AND RUDE! If they'd let me leave zero stars I would. I went in today to get my eyebrows waxed and they brought me into a SHADY room with an office chair and nothing else. The materials they had for waxing were all mismashed into an old cookie tin and she tried to use the same waxing stick she had used on other customers. When I asked her to use a new stick she was VERY RUDE and told me to go somewhere else if I was uncomfortable. I WAS uncomfortable so I left. Family run salon; which is great except they get busy often and don't have enough qualified staff. They carry mostly OPI polish and gels. They just started carrying a dip line as well. They use an electric drill to remove gel on natural nails which is a no no; drills are meant for artificial nails. It totally screws up the shape of your nail beds. Services often feel rushed and grandma who does the pedicures needs a break. My toe nail polish chipped in a week and polish is often on my skin. I've often seen Lee pour one polish into the next and use polish thinner to the thick polishes. They should just get a new polish rather than try to stretch it by thinning it out. My daughter has been here several times, and it was fine although nothing special. Then she had a very bad experience and will never go back. 1) She asked for a gel manicure, but they started giving her a regular manicure because the polish bottle that she'd picked out of the gel section was misplaced and was actually regular polish. When she said that she wanted a gel manicure, the woman doing her nails acted annoyed that she had to start over. 2) The woman doing her nails commented on my daughter's "hairy arms," which I thought was rude. 3) She cut my daughter's cuticle down so far that it was bleeding. 4) One of the salon workers picked a gel color to match the color she had previously picked (which, as I mentioned, had been wrongly placed in the gel section). It was much lighter than the color she'd originally chosen, and when she said something as she was doing her nails the woman just ignored her. She is very dissatisfied with the color, and is upset that no effort was made to get a color she liked, even after she spoke up. 5) As she was paying, she was talking with her friend about it how she didn't like the color, and the man who was checking them out just told her to "calm down." He could see that something was wrong, but made no effort to address the situation. 6) After she got home, I decided to call to let them know that she was dissatisfied with the service she received. The woman that I talked to refused to even listen to me, and just started shouting and then hung up on me. There were multiple points when they could have listened to my daughter or to me, but they did not. This level of dismissive customer service is unacceptable, and we will *never* go here again. read more

I've had acrylic nails for 25 years. I'd been very unhappy with the nail salon I'd been going to. I moved to Ashland in 2009 and tried 3 places trying to get the beautiful pink and white french manicure that I've seen other women with but none of them seemed to look right. One day I stopped at Dunkin Dounuts and went into Simply Perfect and explained what I was looking for. Needless to say I found the perfect salon!!! Lee was wonderful my nails looked awesome and they last for well over one month and I still get compliments just before I'm due to go back for a fill. We went here because the bride was paying for us and she said she wanted the cheapest. They were really nice and had the pedicure chairs ready for our appointment but nothing else was that great. They didn't have sterile packs of tools and nothing was in barbasol so I'm praying for no skin infections. We also all got the same thing and each person did it differently. I had the oldest women and she did not file my nails straight and when I asked her to fix it she just ran the file over in the same direction and made it worse. They also have no ventilation so I left with a headache. I would have rather paid a few more bucks for better quality. I just hope it lasts for the wedding in 2 days. read more

Having recently moved to Ma, I've been searching for a place to get my nails done the way I want it. Being a Pharmacy Technician, I find myself using my nails to open new bottles a lot so I can't just have nail polish on my fingers because it rubs off easily. I need powder! Simply Perfect offers powder even though they only have a few selection and they do a wonderful job. Very friendly staff too. I was there with my sister-in-law for our birthdays and did both manicure and pedicure. I absolutely loved their pedicure. I would definitely go there again if it wasn't for the fact that I live in Lowell. The only reason I'm only giving them a four star is because I felt a bit rushed by them towards the end. They grind under one of my nail a little too deep and that hurts. Like I said though, if I'm ever in the area again, I would most definitely use their service again. read more

I have been visiting this nail salon for 3 years now. Usually Lee's brother or one of the other guys does my nails and always does a great job, I have never complained and always gave them a good tip. Despite the fact I was a regular for 3 years they didn't treat me like one of their other regulars who they were so nice to and would greet them nicely. But that didn't stop me from going there as they did an amazing job on my nails. Anyways , all of a sudden now they have stopped being nice to me altogether, in fact I walk in or even try to make an appointment they just tell me we don't have time for you. It has happened 3 times that they told me to go away and they don't have time for me or let me even make an appointment. I don't understand why or what has happened. I'm extremely confused why they are being so rude to me all of a sudden. Avoid this place! Lee was never really nice to me, and it didn't bother me because her brother would do my nails but now has become super rude!!! This woman is insane! AVOID AVOID AVOID. read more
