The Lab is connected to an ecosystem of Burque artists and creative types that are capturing the pulse of the city and causing something of a stir. At the studio they'll design whatcha want, just bring the logo, they're preparing a quote on a big order for me at the moment. They carry two basic styles of tees, Gildan -- which is a conventional fit -- and Canvas/Bella -- I LOVE these shirts, very soft, relaxed, but not frumpy. The other sweet angle to the biz is their pop-up print station. With a little notice, they'll show up at your event or festival and print tees on the spot, and they offer a cool, environmentally-friendly option, as well: you bring the tee, they'll discount the fee. The other day, I found a terrific new shirt at Magokoro, bought it on the spot, with my ramen. Turns out T-Shirt Lab printed it. To my surprise, I wasn't terribly surprised. It's a great company.

Time to update and state that, five years later, this company remains as good as it gets. First and foremost, they don't bullsh*t. When you call/message/text/stop by, they're going to be realistic about what they can and cannot create, and you'll get a realistic ETA. Second, the product always shines. I've ordered everything from banners and signage to printed materials and stickers, it's all very, very Good. And third, this is my favorite aspect of the biz: they're amazing community partners. Over the years, they've provided plenty of materials and support to local businesses, most evidenced by so many restaurants that proudly posted their un-gender-specific bathroom signage that, honestly, couldn't be better stated. I was running for secretary in my school. I had family in ABQ and I heard great things about from then. I emailed them and told them what I had in mind and what I wanted my logo to be like. He said that he had an idea in his head and that he would email me the logo in a few days. Three days later he emailed me the logo that happened to be exactly what I wanted and even sended me two extras. In conclusion, the price was super reasonable and my logo turned out great. The consultant was helpful and enthusiastic in person as well as over the phone. Sure, there was a fee to convert our logo to a usable file but every shop had this fee. The per piece price was very reasonable, they had great recommendations on sizing and placement, the turnaround time was fantastic and they were very communicative during the production process sending proofs and making small adjustments as needed. We ended up having jackets, sweaters and beanies made and all were perfect! I cannot recommend Rio Rancho T-shirts enough. We'll be back.

After having to wait three days to get the vehicle back into the shop for replacement lettering, I discovered that the employees had NOT been advised of the incorrect placement and leveling, and then I waited another day to receive the vehicle back after attempting to correct the mistake. One side that was in fact replaced, was still crooked. Being in need of the vehicle, I took possession and decided not to utilize this company for any further markings for my business...
