And everything around the edges of the glass was useless to the touch. And don't let them sell you on some 90 day fix it for free scam. I brought my phone back to them twice to respectfully and politely asked for it to be fixed properly. The first time they suggested the problem was that I hadn't updated to the latest iOS (what a load of crap but I tried it). The second time, the guy just shrugged and said, "well you know, sometimes when you break the glass it just screws up the phone for good". These guys provide extremely poor service, bordering on fraudulent repair work

My tablet screen was broken and Jeff offered to repair/replace it, but had never done it before on that particular item and wouldn't guarantee the work. I took my chances with him and he did an excellent job. It is now many years later (2024) and I've had to move to a retirement village where we have an IT department which takes care of most of our IT needs. Unfortunately my old, 5SE iPhone which I need because of manual dexterity problems, couldn't be repaired by the new, young tech and ended up in worse shape than before. The floating Home button cannot be eliminated, the regular Home button which had been difficult to push is permanently stuck. It is now Friday evening and I'll have to wait until Monday to somehow get the phone down to Peak Wireless and have Jeff and his crew work their magic on it.

I began email correspondence with the owner Chris Lee. Mr Lee offered in an emai to compensate me for the cost of replacing my daughter's phone. The email said nothing about needing the device first. When I accepted, he then told me I have to send him the device first. As this seemed very odd, and wasn't mentioned in his original offer, I told him I would be happy to send him the device once I received the promised check. Mr Lee has now stopped answering my emails and I still haven't received a check. This is a very dishonest and frustrating way for him to handle his employee's damage to my property.
