Truly Exceptional Customer Service!!! I went to Visionworks today for the first time after several years of feeling unheard with my previous eye doctor. All of their staff that I interacted with today were all incredibly helpful, patient, kind, and knowledgeable - which is refreshing! Angel, the amazing Tech that helped me today - was SO kind, patient, knowledgeable, and efficient. She's apparently been there several years and is just "ON IT". Daniel, the awesome and brilliant team member that helped me with picking out the right pair of glasses provided unprecedented customer service. I liked that he didn't pressure me at all while also efficiently and professionally providing me with all of the information I needed from insurance coverage, to pricing, to metal frames vs. plastic frames, to what would compliment my specific face shape and everything. I tried plastic glasses frames many years back and I didn't like it because it kept sliding down on my nose. So, I thought I had too flat of a nose maybe so I was stuck using only metal frames - with the adjustable nose things that get messed up and I try to fix it but then it's never perfect again lol. HOWEVER, when Daniel listened to my needs and preferences on glasses and recommended a plastic frame and I explained my past experiences, you could tell he has been there for 18+ years and knows his stuff because he then showed me several plastic frame with different nose bridge options and showed me where it should sit, where there were gaps in some of the plastic frame options on my nose and provided education on how finding the right nose bridge and getting the right measurements and over the ear adjustments and all could change everything for me around wearing glasses. He was right! We found the perfect glasses frame for my taste, needs, price range, that fits my face shape and size AND fits the bridge of my nose AND he adjusted behind the ears so it fit really really comfortably without sliding around or being too tight. I am SUPER impressed with Daniel, Angel, and the doctor (sorry I can't remember the name) and honestly the entire team and experience was wonderful. Give Angel & Daniel a raise!!! They really were exceptional. And I've been seeing eye doctors since elementary school and I've never had a team be so professional, efficient, knowledgeable, not pushy, helpful, patient, and truly take the time to educate me on all of this stuff. No other eye doctor I've had in my life (and I'm 31 years old) has done all of that before and especially not to this high quality level of service and education. I am impressed. The doctor asked really good questions that did actually matter and make a difference for recommendations on contacts & glasses, he let me know that my vision HAD changed significantly in less than a year since my annual exam with my old doctor where I told them I still couldn't see that well and they said that it was probably just the difference in wearing my glasses vs. contacts and that's just how it was going to be. The doctor asked the Tech to grab me some trials for a daily lense in my new prescription strength, I put them in with the doctor still on the telemedicine screen and OMG I COULD ACTUALLY SEE CLEARLY / CRISPLY FOR THE FIRST TIME IN OVER TWO YEARS!!! I mean, seriously a massive quality of life upgrade. I am super excited to have them as my new eye doctor and go-to for contacts & glasses going forward and will be recommending them to everyone. I have been a Vision Works customer for many years, but my most recent experience was very disappointing. I selected a pair of glasses online that totaled $434, which included a 40% off promotion. When I went in to pay, I presented both the online offer and my invoice, but the final bill was suddenly $745. After insurance, I paid $416. That amount should have been about $42 less, since I was reusing my existing frames, but that adjustment was not applied. The main issue is that the 40% promotion shown online was not honored in-store, despite me providing documentation. This left me paying more than expected and feeling misled. I've been loyal to Vision Works for years, but this experience has shaken my trust in their pricing transparency. Unless corrected, I will take my business elsewhere. read more

I came into Visionworks to get my first pair of progressive lenses a few months ago. When I picked them up Daniel was so helpful in explaining how to use them! I brought in my prescription from my opthalmologist, a complicated Rx, and was fitted with the frames I chose. My new glasses arrived on time, and seemed okay in the store, but when I got home and put them to the test, they weren't focusing as I had hoped. I went back, now with some experience so I could tell the technician what I was seeing, and he spent an hour with me making adjustments and fine-tuning, explaining every step in great detail. When I got home, where I used these in "the real world," I found they were perfect. The technician's name is Daniel, and he is so knowledgeable, so patient, and so empathetic, he really understands. I've been getting my glasses at this Visionworks location for 14 years, and will continue to be a happy customer for years to come. PS: "Joey" is great, too! read more

So i bought 2 identical frames from Visionworks in Salt Lake City, Utah that both broke within 5-6 months in the same place. Not a great frame design. I took them in to the VIsionworks here and the manager replaced them on the spot. I was expecting a huge hassle and unhappiness all around and instead the store honored a problem with an out-of-state purchase and made me whole within minutes of opening the front door. Wow!!! That's like how service used to be. I told her I'll be buying from her store from now on. What a refreshing way to be treated. I had a yearly eye exam at 11:40am today, I checked in with "angel" at desk.She approached me with a clipboard asking if I wanted a separate test costing $30,I told her NO.She walked back over to her desk & threw the clipboard down. I immediately got up, ask for Mgr,& told her what happened,she didn't apologize or anything, just stood there while "angel" called me a liar!!! read more

Stopped in at Visionworks today, I had a lovely experience. I have a hard time shopping, I don't have the best taste, so investing in a pair of glasses always seems daunting. I was greeted kindly, given space to get my bearings, and advice when needed. The manager (wish I remembered her name) was very knowledgable, helpful, as well as personable, we had a good conversation. She watched me try on frames and then spent time with me walking me around the store pointing out frames that were similar to the ones I had been looking at. All together a successful and enjoyable trip. read more

Terrible experience. Both the doctors office next door and the Visionworks facility itself. Poor service, poor follow through. The receptionist at the doctors office is totally incompetent. I asked if I could come by to pick up my prescription, she said that they closed at 4:30, but she would leave my prescription with Visionworks side for me, I drove all the way there only to find that she hadn't done it, and the staff at Visionworks seemed disinterested in helping me. I had to come back the following day only to find that my insurance didn't work there, this is after I was told that it did and they wouldn't give my prescription until I paid the full amount for an exam. I would have never gotten the exam there if I hadn't been told by receptionist that my insurance was good there. The Visionworks side did the same thing, told me my insurance was good there, it's the reason I came there, only to be later told that no, my insurance wouldn't work there. I won't recommend either of them to anyone, and won't do any business with them ever again. I would give them 0 stars if I could, Go somewhere else to get your glasses/contacts. read more

how bad can it get if u want to go blind in this store u are the right person for the v isit many years ago before the change i had i very good experience at this so called visionworks bt a few month ago i went in with my docs proscription and get eye glasses again i left there buying a pair after i complaint about the outrages price and they did find a pair at about 100 bucks less that i bought came back a week or so to pick them up fit bad and complaint asked for tinting and wanted a wow price for that every time i did wear the glasses it was a drama to fit and hold on my nose finally they found them self in the garbage.... every time i wore them i got pissed off and never went back i made a complaint on there website and looked like no reviews listed the last few years and mine would not list made a call and was able to make my complaint it never made the listing on line and i never did hear from them either so i never went back to get them fixed until i was so discussed.....that the at last a garbage can found the name TUNNELVISION and glasses was a great home what a relieve it is want my advise......................go blind before u try this wow fake vision store read more

Had to wait forever for desk person just to order contacts If it wasn't for my insurance I would never step foot in here. Maybe it's just me buy it seems that things are a bit overproced. They tell me for my prescription I'm looking about $400 and up for a pair of glasses and my other place (that does not take my insurance ) is starting at $200 and up.. hmm.gotta wonder read more

I have been waiting three weeks and still do not have glasses. They told me that they were sent to them one time before with lens on one side was to small. So tell me how the people doing the glasses didn't notice that. I have received faster service at Walmart. So that will be where I will be returning. read more

I've worn glasses for twenty years. I purchased my most recent glasses, one pair of reading and one pair of everyday, from Visionworks and will not be back. Both pairs of glasses had serious quality issues with the lenses. One set of lenses cracked, were replaced by Visionworks, and the replacement lenses promptly cracked. The other pair's protective coating has peeled off, leaving hazy spots in the lenses. I've never had this type of issues from other eyeglasses, so I cannot recommend Visionworks due to their quality issues. read more

I don't about their glasses, but their customer service is excellent!! The nose pad fell off my glasses, glasses I didn't buy at Visionworks. I happened to be in the area and walked in to see if they could replace the nose pad. They did and tightened all the screws (without my asking) and cleaned the lenses. Since I've been charged just to have the screws tightened at other places I was expecting to pay $5-10. Instead, it was free. I would certainly consider going here when I need a new pair. read more

We drove 45 minutes to arrive at the store at 6:40 p.m. - though the hours posted here are to 7:30, we were greeted with, "We close at 7:00." The pregnant young lady then picked up some stuff (trash perhaps) and went outside. The other person there was working with other customers, so we were left with no assistance until he finished and was able to then offer to help. The lady did return to the store and began to turn off lights, which was quite helpful when trying to look through the selection as quickly as possible. Needless to say, we left without ordering glasses. So how soon will we be returning to order our glasses? How many people will we tell about our experience? I hope the owner checks on customer comments frequently. I will be posting this opinion everywhere I can think of to help further this young lady's ability to leave her job ON TIME!! read more
