I utilized Kevin's services for about 10 years, starting at Gene Juarez and then I followed him to…read morehis private business. He did an excellent job. Then, in a period of a few months, his price went from $50 to $80. I had always tipped him 20% so with tip and tax, it would have cost more than $100 for a single haircut, no other services. I already had an appointment which I intended to keep since I needed the cut but I asked him politely about the 60% raise in cost. He sent a rude text and in part said he had decided to quit being a bargain (Seriously!). He also informed me he had cancelled my scheduled appointment I had intended to keep. I was stunned not only at the price increase but the rude treatment when I had been such a loyal customer.

Hey Hello Hair! I…read moreabsolutely love this place. The ladies here are truly the best. I'm lucky to have Charla and Jessica taking care of my hair--my lifelong, deep red hair that I proudly say comes from my great-great-grandmother. It's that strong Indian red MC1R gene trait, and I don't take it lightly! I had hand and arm surgery in January 2026, and the girls even took care of my hair before my surgery. At that time, we were working through simple wash routines together because I couldn't wash my hair myself. They were so patient and helpful through all of it. By the time I needed my next move-up, I was ready to wash my own hair again, and they celebrated that progress with me. I truly love these ladies like I've known them for years. Everyone in the salon is so kind, fun, and genuinely caring--not just with me, but with every person who walks in. Going to my appointment at Hello Hair is something I always look forward to. I genuinely love being there.

Finding a stylist these days with the right skills and experience is not easy…read more Julie at Brassfield's really understood what I wanted, how my hair behaved and gave me a Pixie Haircut. I was very pleased with the results. It also holds it shape well, looks modern and flattering, and requires very little time to recreate in the mornings. I should mention a Pixie cut may look simple but a really good cut isn't. It takes skill, talent and experience to get the shape, texturing and movement right. (I have Asian hair.) So, if you are looking for a stylist, I would recommend Julie at Brassfield's. I trust her with my hair and that is about the highest compliment one can give a stylist.

Let me start off with how cute the interior of the salon is! It gives an earthy and modern feel…read more The restrooms are kept very clean and it was nice to have coffee, tea or water as complimentary. Upon entering for my appointment the two gals that I engaged with were very welcoming. I believe the gal that checked me in was Megan and the other gal I forget her name but she has red hair with cute bangs in a ponytail who was letting me know not to worry about the hour parking in front of the salon. My advice to those new to the salon is to get there early as parking is limited in the front and the ample parking would be across the street or in the residential area. Now let me get to my stylist who wow'ed me. This was my second time around with this stylist. Backstory I met Shawn Babauta at JCPenny as I went in to get a haircut and she mentioned she was moving to Dolce Salon which was the best decision she made as well as for Dolce Salon to add an amazing stylist to their team. Shawn is so talented and the thing I love about Shawn when I first met her was she listened to what my concerns were and what my inspiration was. Also Shawn gives good feedback on styles that compliment your face and how much work a certain style would be for example bangs. That's a plus for me because not many stylists listen or give you that type of feedback. When it comes to a long term stylist I feel that not only are their talents a plus but also vibing with them is important. Shawn I'm so happy my husband found you on social media because moving here due to a military move is always a bit rough. Now to end my long review go check out the pictures I will attach because Shawn did more than what I expected and then some! That's how talented Shawn is! You will see before and after pics.
