Absolutely love this this place! One of the only barbers open on a Monday. I had a great experience and for a great price! Super friendly and helpful, I got the haircut I wanted! I highly recommend checking this place out for your next haircut and I will definitely be back, it's super close to my work so that's even better! Thank You Salon Kerizma! And I've also received tons of compliments on my haircut so again, Thank You very much! read more

This place is simply the best! Kimi is incredible. I've been going to her for years for hair and makeup and she always makes me look and feel super glamorous. The vibe of the salon is lovely and spa-like. I would recommend this salon above all others in the area! I'd especially recommend Kimi Boyd, owner and stylist. She is so professional and will absolutely bring out the best in everyone, every time. Book an appointment and prepare to look gorgeous! read more

Kimi is the best! She is the hair color queen. Great atmosphere. I have been going to her for many years and she always delivers and does an awesome job. She pays a lot of attention to detail and my hair always comes out perfect! Definitely recommend! read more

I come here to see Justin, and I must say that he is sweetest thing. He works really hard to make sure you get exactly what you want.. And if it is something he can't do, he will make sure you both come to a compromise that works. He is patient and so upbeat, and his work is absolutely fantastic! He got me from boxed black dye to red and black without much damage to my hair at all!! Definitely recommend this guy. Don't let his young face fool you.. He knows what he is doing! read more

I bought a Groupon for a haircut/deep conditioning/style with Marci. It was my first time getting a bob cut ad even though I showed her a picture of what I wanted, she did not cut it at the right length. She asked if I wanted it shorter, and I said yes. After she cut more, I looked in the mirror and saw an noticeable uneven cut. I explained my concerns in a calm and respectful manner, and she said we could take a little off of the side that was longer. When she tried to fix it, I noticed her hands were shaking and I immediately thought that she was new to the salon profession. I told her that the cut still looked uneven and she asked why I feel that way. It wasn't a matter of "feeling". I could see with my eyes that my hair was uneven. Now, I have to spend more money in another salon to fix my hair (which is the complete opposite of what I was hoping to do since I bought a Groupon). Marci said I could come in the next day but it would have to be at 8am. When I got home, I decided against going back to Salon Kerizma because once a stylist messes up my hair, I can't trust them to fix it. read more

I came in to get my Hair cut Short and the owner Justeen Chromy Was assigned to me. She Did a Fantastic job! I showed her my pics I had on my phone of what I wanted and she took the time to ask me questions and listened to what I wanted. I Was Completely satisfied with my new haircut! I love it! Gave me The boost of confidence i needed! Justeen and Her staff are the nicest, friendliest people! I Definitely would Refer my friends and Family to her salon for services! read more

I've been seeing Ashley S. for over 2 years now and I always leave the salon happy. I lived near here 2 years ago and just googled nearby salons, so I found this place on a whim. The reviews online were pretty good but I'll admit I was skeptical when I seen the actual store front for the first time. It's definitely dated but I don't care too much about the appearance of the salon as I do the quality of work that's put out. I usually get either highlights or all over color or both. I'm not too adventurous w/ my hair color or cut so I usually keep it simple w/ a trim or occasional layering. But no matter what I want done w/ my hair, I'm confident Ashley can do it and I'd recommend her to anyone! read more

Two of my friends and I bought Groupons for a cut and highlights from Marci. Not only did she come in on her day off so that we could get our hair done together but she did an amazing job! One friend cut 13", another 8", she trimmed my hair and added bangs, and ended up cutting my 2 year old daughter's hair too! She really went above and beyond for us and we all love our new looks for our graduation :) I'd been to salon Kerizma before (with another groupon) and had Geah do balayage highlights in my hair. She was also AWESOME! She even showed me how to train and take care of my hair. She's the reason I went back with my friends. read more

I love Salon Kerizma. Ashley, Justeen, and Justin are incredible stylist. Coming to the salon is a great experience. They treat you like family and take care of you. They also have a quality selection of hair products available. This shop is cool because it also has a barber area in addition to the salon. The stylist are very flexible and are always willing to work with your schedule. The pricing is very reasonable. This is a place to go if you are looking for trained experienced stylists with reasonable prices. read more

I purchased a Groupon through this salon for a lash lift. I called multiple times for months and got no answer. The Groupon eventually expired and I was unable to use it. Have tried calling again to be able to put the expired Groupon towards another full priced service and still no answer. read more

My son and I got a haircut twice. Usually my son doesn't likes to get haircuts, but at this place he has a lot of fun. These guys are professionals! read more

Purchased groupons for myself and my daughter- today we saw Marci and had the best experience! I came in a little indecisive, and Marci helped guide me through what she thought would work. I left with a longer layered angled bob and beautiful natural highlights. My daughter had a trim and was happy with the results, which was an added bonus, since she dreads going to the salon. Besides being happy with our new hairstyles, Marci was just pleasant to be around- super easy going :). Very impressed and glad I took a chance- I'll definitely be back. read more

ashley has been my stylist for years. she really is so fun to talk to and doesnt mess up my hair. Shes the only one I trust to do it. I reccomend this nice relaxing place for cuts and color. read more

Stopped in for a basic fade, had to go back twice and it's still not finished neatly. After the second visit back Justin tells me he isn't even a barber. I know how old this kid is, where he was raised, and that he was a troubled teen. All within the 20 minutes it took to destroy my hair, he for some reason or another felt the need to share all of this with me. The kid is not even 20 yet and his attitude was poor when I went back. I can tell he really thinks he's the you know what. But the fact of the matter is he's really green and he's not good at cutting And attitude is poor. Anyways-if you're looking for a modern day fade, nice and clean with sharp lines, do not waste your time here you won't get it. read more

I've gone to April for half a year and I'm delighted with her cuts and coloring. I always look great after I see her.

This review is for April! She's the absolute best - she's gives amazing haircuts and is an incredibly talented colorist. If you want someone who will listen and give you exactly what you want, go to April. If you're not sure exactly what you want and need thoughtful suggestions, go to April. If you are a human who wants anything done to their hair, go to April. Not only is she wonderful at her job, she's an awesome person. Recommend her highly!!! read more

I tried this place on a whim and I was surprised. I would diffidently come back to her my hair cut again!

Justin is amazing! He has done my hair twice now, and my hair has been so healthy and just looks overall fantastic. He fixed an "at home dye job" and I have got nothing but compliments from others since I have been seeing him. I have had people stop me to tell me how great my hair looks. He gives great advice and is extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend him, and tell all my friends to go see him! read more

Had my first appointment with Ashley today. She was efficient, professional, and a great stylist. I haven't had my hair cut in 5 months and she asked me what I wanted and executed it perfectly. I will definitely be going back. read more

I love the hair stylists and the environment at Salon Kerizma! The ladies are very sweet and make sure that you get the hair cut/style/dye that you want. They always remember who you are and treat you like a valued client. I will never go anywhere else to get my hair done! :) read more

I bought a Groupon deal for this salon (it was $30) months ago. I went to the salon itself to ask about this deal. I went in and it was quite busy. I waved and made eye contact but I was ignored. After twenty minutes, one of the stylists took pity on me and I asked her about this deal. She told me that it was another stylist who offers that and her name is Heidi. She was also on vacation for a week more. So, after a week I called Heidi to schedule an appointment. Nothing worked for me and she said she'd give me a call back. To this day, she never called back and I never got a haircut. You're welcome. read more

I guess you get what you expect when you see the outside of the building. A tad dingy and worn down. The person that cut my hair was friendly, but I think lacking a bit of experience. Cut was okay, but nothing I couldn't have gotten for half the price at Great Clips. I'll stick to SuperNova. read more

I went to Marian Robey she did a fantastic haircut for myself and my son. Marian even spent extra time on my hair along with talked to my 3 yr actively. I'll be back for many more haircuts! read more

This will be my fifth hair cut at Kerizma and I have been disappointed by the stylists punctuality. During my previous visit I waited 30 minutes and the stylist was not close to finishing her earlier appointment. I asked another stylist and she cut my hair. After that visit I decided to try someone new at the salon. Today I had an appointment scheduled for 12 and at 11 she called to reschedule. I get it, life happens and men's haircuts are not the priority. But please try to be on time and keep your appointments. read more

I moved to Tacoma July 2015, and I needed to find a new barber. I luckily was referred to Marian by a coworker. I was a little nervous going to a different barber after 3 years with my previous barber, but after meeting Marian when I walked in it felt at ease. She was friendly, energetic, and most importantly gave me a great cut. As a bonus she cleans up the neckline with a straight razor and finishes every cut with a strong but relaxing shoulder rub. I've been a loyal customer of Marian for almost a year and a half now. I've recently grown a beard and she has been trimming that as well. read more

I bought a Groupon for a haircut w/Marci at Salon Kerizma. Despite being a little early for my appointment, Marci was ready to take me back as soon as I walked in the door. I didn't have to wait at all :) She did an excellent job of making me feel comfortable and her customer service skills are exceptional. She made sure to ask me about the details so that I walked away with the haircut that I envisioned. The head massage and conditioning treatment just about put me to sleep. I would highly recommend! read more

I continue to come here. I began with Geah, but she left and now have been going to Ashley for well over a year now. Not only is she awesome, but she always does what I ask and I always trust her with my cut and color. If you're looking for a salon, definitely consider Ashley at Salon Kerizma! read more

I have been going to Ashley for almost 2 years! I now live in Puyallup, and it is so worth the drive! She's upbeat, and bubbly! I am always satisfied and happy with my cut and color! She's amazing! I recommend her to everyone that asks me where they should get their hair done at! read more

PD did a wonderful job with my grandma's hair! She did exactly what my grandma wanted & she loved it (She's tough to please haha) We are both extremely happy with the service we received from PD. I got a groupon with Marci & got my hair colored & it was my first time ever getting an asymmetrical bob, I've NEVER cut my hair that short ever. Needless to say she cut my hair to her liking not mine. I called the next day to have her fix it & she said no. I've been to other salons & they had no problem fixing my hair @ no additional charge. I went & got it fixed & they also showed me how she messed up my hair color also by not going to the root. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. I do a waaaay better job at coloring my own hair smh read more
