One star seems generous. 0 stars seems more fitting. My hopes were high, as I am from town and saw all of the amazing reviews. I dropped off my dog at 2:30 to the owner and groomer, who seemed super friendly. 5 hours later, I still hadn't gotten a call for pick up, but was understanding of how they might've been busy. As I picked my dog up at 7, my dog was being groomed. As I waited another young woman walks in, her 3 dogs still locked up in cages in the back. The owner and groomer were apologetic as they couldn't get to her dogs, but from my understanding and the look of disappointment on her face they were back there all day. The owner finished up, and I paid and left. Once I entered my car, I noticed my dog crying and shaking, with blood on my seat and pants. I brought her back in only to be told that they snipped her nails and how it was "very common." The blood? No big deal as long as I washed my pants with hydrogen peroxide... I was also told to call my vet and ask how common bleeding paws of dogs were during grooming. However, this has never happened before, and if it has, at least notify me of this as they insisted that this happens to dogs there a lot. I tried to explain how this is actually uncommon as there are blood vessels under dogs' nails, and when cut incorrectly, they tend to bleed a lot which is painful. I felt unheard as they insisted she was fine, even though my dog continued to cry and shake. The owner continued to grow impatient, and the groomer beside her kept escalating the situation repeating that it's fine, when it wasn't. They refunded me my money, and wrote down a medicine on an envelope. I assumed this envelope was for my refund money (it was a small money envelope..) and once I got home, I opened it to a bunch of yellow medicinal powder falling out. That was the last strike for me. Please don't bring your pet here, as I advise you to bring them to actual professionals. read more
