I'm super-nervous about leaving my baby with just anyone. I've heard horror stories about many places and besides, my baby is just plain nervous about going anywhere, let alone the groomers. I called this place to schedule an appointment. I sent over my dog's rabies paperwork by conveniently texting the docs to a phone number. I had forgotten to do this when I scheduled the appointment but they still took it the day of. I pulled up to Pawsitively Purrfect, very easy to get to and located on Morris Ave which is a main street in Union. Parking wasn't bad. I parked on the side street and walked right around the corner. When I brought Kelani up to the door it was locked but Adelis came to open it up and greeted me in such a friendly way. Now I expected for her to just grab my fur baby and go inside but nope, she actually stood outside on the sidewalk and allowed Kelani to sniff her and get used to her. Then once Kelani was comfortable, Adelis reached down and petted her and talked to her. Then she picked up my baby and went inside. I came to pick up Kelani a couple of hours later and she looked so cute. She smelled fresh and had a pink bow in her hair but the best part was that Adelis had trimmed the hair under her chin so meticulously and perfectly. My regular groomer doesn't even do a job that good. I paid $84 on my card and tipped her. She so deserved it. I'm so pleased with this place. I've already scheduled Kelani's appointment for next time. Highly recommend.

Our dog is sensitive to getting her nails trimmed and I was amazed by how quickly and pain-free they were able to do it. 2-3 of the staff would work with her, one person cutting her nails and the others keeping her calm and comforted. It would be over in just minutes. HOWEVER, the last few times we've gone, it's been terrible. They put a muzzle on her and with just 1 staff trying to both cut and keep her calm, they were not quick so she would start crying and whining and not staying still. They said they did not want to cut her nails again and asked that we try elsewhere, which is understandable. I'm just disappointed that they were not as efficient and helpful as they used to be.

The Covids complicated a lot of things and finding a grooming appointment was one of them. I was able to drop him off at 9am during our scheduled date. He was ready after an hour and half. it was faster than I expected but happy he wasn't in a new loud environment for a whole day. Lauren did a great job with our dog. She was able to trim his face and private area. I didn't recognize him when I picked him up immediately because he got brushed and was fluffed up. I'm used the matted look he had and I can see his eyes now. Its a good setup they have. there's plenty of street parking outside. I took a star away because there isn't enough warm water when we use the self wash station. I don't think my puppy minds the cold water but my hands are freezing when we bath him ;)
