My husband got The Elk Burger, very good and tasty..wasnt dry. I did 'Create your own pizza' Red roasted peppers and tomatoes, goat cheese, Prosciutto & mushrooms... They didnt skimp.. Stopped at the local Liquor store and he recommended this place. Ordered a few things. Was feeling like I was coming down with a cold so wanted soup. Hubby always wants a burger so we did that too. The place is super cool and we kinda wished we had ate there. So ordered on the app and it gave us a time of 40 mins to pick up, never been there so I assumed this was valid. So we went to the hotel, dropped off our stuff, checked in & then went back only to find out the order had been ready for 30 mins. The woman at the counter was like "We thought you werent coming" I already knew what that would mean... YEP, All the food was cold - and trying to make fries hot again in the hotel microwave sucked. The soup I tried to heat it but it just made it mushier. The taste & flavors of everything was DELICIOUS... Just wish the ordering process from the app was a little more accurate, and Im sure its no fault of the restaurant as it was a 3rd party app... But be mindful if you are ordering online! The pizza was delicious, definitely would try out more of them if in the area again!

So there's no place to stop in the pike that's healthy much past x5. So I tried to hit up the deli…read morein Lee but it closed. So I drove down some street and found this little gem. At 1st I was a bit put out. Sign did deli/burgers/Indian. But it's mostly burgers and Indian. So this cat behind the counter starts talking up the Indian stuff which I like and throws some sorta spicy chicken thing at me in a red sauce w some rice and fresh naan. Friggin' good! Spicy, chicken cooked really well, naan was awesome. Atmosphere it ain't and there's some funky Indian version of mtv on the tube (or maybe a dance off?). Eh. I guess it adds to the charm. But def check it out. You can tell the cat running the joint is proud of his food.

Stopped in for a quick dinner after seeing The Tempest at Shakespeare & Co.: with a 2.5 hour drive…read moreback to Boston ahead of us, we didn't want to take forever for a table service place, and we didn't want slices of pizza or some horrible Mass Pike food. This fit the bill nicely. First the good stuff: the samosa was out of this world, and the mint chutney it was served with was amazing. (the onion chutney was good too, but the mint was the best I've ever had, and I eat a lot of Indian food.) The saag and naan were also delicious. My daughter had the chickpeas--same. All great stuff. What's more, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Now, the less good stuff: the rice was soggy, watery, and inedible. They had a bunch of saag that they used with both paneer and chicken, which is smart, but they added paneer to my saag without heating it up, so I had hot saag with cold paneer. It tasted good, but come on. I felt like it was a little bit pricey for a cafeteria-style place: 12.99 for appetizer, entree, rice or naan and a drink, BUT, an extra buck if you want a samosa for your appetizer (and why wouldn't you? You gonna settle for some pakora when there are delicious samosas available?) We paid extra to get both naan and rice, but in the future, I'd just skip the rice. Thirty bucks for me and my daughter, which just felt a little steep for a place with no table service. So: some hiccups that you might expect in a new-ish place, but the flavors were great and they didn't just dump a ton of cream into everything like a lot of Indian places do, so the food was lighter than expected and the flavors of the non-cream ingredients were able to shine through a little more. Bottom line: the non-rice food was good enough that I'd give it another chance despite the problems, especially because the staff was so incredibly nice.

Harvest moon is the main restaurant for those staying at Miraval. As someone who stayed at the…read moreresort, I'm unsure of how much it would cost to just dine here without staying here. But that said, the food is actually quite good. The portions are small, but while staying here, you can order as much as you'd like. Service is on point, the buffet bar is not bad as well. And everything that is served is served with an essence of healthiness. Sometimes the food could be overly salted, but you generally really can't go wrong here. Taste: 4.5/5 Value for money: n/a Ambiance: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Things we tried: 1) Moon burger: this is okay, the wheat bread made it taste healthier 2) eggs Benedict: tastes as it sounds! 3) Greek Yogurt: taste super healthy 4) scallops: this was super good and cooked to perfection when they offer it 5) halibut: cooked very well too 6) brown butter vanilla ice cream: this is something we kept coming back to Also it's a digital device free dining area. Meaning no phones.

Harvest Moon is the only dine-in restaurant at the Miraval Berkshires. All meals at this restaurant…read moreare included if you are a guest of the Miraval. The inside dining room has pretty basic decor and the outside dining area is kind of pathetic - it is concrete surrounded on 4 sides by buildings. There are a few small trees planted in the courtyard, but it is such a shame that the outdoor dining is in a made-man box when part of the point of being out in the Berkshires is to enjoy the beauty of the nature in the area. The overall ambiance was nothing special and it almost seemed like a restaurant for a conference center. The menus were the same for the 4 days that I ate here, with only small variations for the specials. Breakfast is waiter service, lunch is mainly an attended buffet though you can order made-to-order specials, and dinner is waiter service. The staff is ill trained - we did not even know that specials were an option on our first day here because the waiters did not inform of us those options. They routinely forgot what we ordered and did not act in a professional manner (aside from one waitress who was great). The portion sizes are comically small; the first night that I had dinner here, I ordered the bass and my husband ordered the steak and we each got about a 2-3 oz. portion of the protein. We were horrified though luckily they let us order more food than the "choose one" appetizer and entree after we complained. After we learned that, we ordered 4 apps and 2 entrees between the two of us for our subsequent meals. A lot of the dishes use the same sauces, so there is limited variation. Pro tip: if you order the brown rice bowl, you can ask them to top it with fish or chicken to make it a more substantial dish. Some of the food was really tasty (shishito peppers, chickpea fritters), but other dishes were pretty plain. I understand that they are trying to only have healthy options, but there was no explanation as to why certain items were on the menu or even the best way to pair apps with certain entrees in order to make the most nutritious combo. All in all, the restaurant is lacking in food variation, staff training, and ambiance. There are some good options, but it was disappointing given the cost.
