Excellent experience with this office and their staff…read more Since I completed all my documentation online the previous day, I was able to check in and taken to the back within minutes. The rooms are clean, well lit, and situated with modern equipment. They let you choose what Netflix movie to watch (careful to choose a laughter filled comedy with your mouthful). It was first appointment with this office, so it was extended, but the digital, full mouth scan was useful for ordering a night guard. No gooey mouth-mold for me! The hygienist, dental assistants, and even billing folks were all outgoing and friendly. The dentist was gregarious and thorough, and I feel that they really care. Our whole family is now going to this office.

They work to get to know you and make a lot of strides to ensure your comfort. They do a lot of initial steps without explaining what they're doing, so that could improve. I changed from Kyle Parkway because of my insurance but I'm not at all unhappy with the change. I felt well cared for start to finish.

I can't recall any other dentist ever doing that, and I really appreciated the personal touch. I highly recommend Dr. David McIntyre and his outstanding staff. They're friendly, qualified, and made my first visit feel comfortable and thorough. I'm truly glad my wife and I found them--we've found our new dentist!

"well it's custom work so there are no returns!" I've had removable bridges before--never had one cut my gum; it repeatedly cut my gum so severely that I would have to wait 4-6 days for the area to heal before trying to put it in again! I never had to go back for adjustments. it's the most painful thing I've ever put in my mouth! I believe they had an obligation to discuss the chances of failure prior to doing the work. instead they handed me a form outline cost and I signed it! Braces were placed on my…read moredaughter and when removed 18 months later, it was then noticed that they missed an adult canine which was still up in the gum and had bracketed a baby tooth. Needless to say, my daughter was devastated and I was extremely upset. We went elsewhere to then get the braces out on again and now had to receive oral surgery under anesthesia to fix the problem. The second daughter has braces for 2 years and when removed, there was an obvious spade between 2 top teeth. We were told the retainer would close the space. CLEARLY, that didn't happen so my second daughter was also now back in braces. When a refund was requested for the $5200, it was flatly DENIED. Do NOT go to this dental office for anything.

I'm done with this place and the terrible customer service…read more I chipped my front tooth. I called to see if I could get an appointment to fix the tooth. I was told I would have to make TWO appointments--one for an exam and then one for the procedure. I asked if I could schedule both for the same day, so I didn't have to take two days off of work. They said yes, they could schedule me for an extra-long appointment, but it meant I would have to schedule two weeks out. I waited two weeks with a chipped tooth and came in. You can probably guess what happened. They took ONE photo of my tooth and told me I had a "really hard decision to make" on whether or not to fix it and I should probably "sleep on it." When I said "No, I want my tooth fixed" they reluctantly admitted they just didn't have time to do it that day. What's more, they then admitted that they NEVER actually scheduled an "extra-long appointment" and that entire promise was just a lie. Also, the "exam" they did (taking one photo of my tooth) meant that I had met my insurance's exam quota for the year, so I wouldn't be able to come in to get a cleaning for the ENTIRE year of 2025 (it is barely May). I am an attorney. I believe this is textbook "bait and switch," potential DTPA violations, as well as potential insurance fraud, and I hope they have good representation. Because if they continue to operate like this, they're probably going to get sued. Oh and also? I went to another dentist to look at the past work Vue had done on my teeth and they said it was "very poorly done" and needed to be fixed. So...the quality doesn't seem to be there either. Look for other dentists in Kyle. There are a lot cropping up now that can probably figure out how to run an appointment system and won't just churn and burn your insurance.

THE DENTIST couldn't figure out which tooth was causing the abscess, then suggested extraction and bone graft. When he declined the $1000+ immediate treatment, she went straight to drug seeker mode. No plan for fillings or anything. She told him, in a very accusatory and rude tone, that they won't keep doing refills on antibiotics (he isn't on antibiotics, yet) and they WILL NOT be giving him painkillers. What the heck!?! They were so rude and disrespectful. We won't be going back, and recommend that if you need LEGIT dental work, don't go there.

This was our first visit to Crescent Dental, and will be our last!…read more My wife cracked a tooth on a Friday afternoon, and our regular dentist was closed. My daughter was a patient at Crescent, so we thought we would try them, and a least get my wife some temporary relief until we could see our regular dentist on Monday. It was decided that the tooth needed to be extracted, and so that was done. The wound was bleeding terribly in the office, but since it was Friday afternoon we were rushed out and given a few guaze pads. Once we got in the car to head home, the wound started bleeding even worse. Since we were still in the parking lot, we went back to the office and tried to get more guaze, since by then my wife was bleeding profusely. Once we finally FOUND someone in the office, they gave us like 3 more guaze pads (generous!) and sent us on our way. (Luckily Wal-mart was close by and I was able to buy a couple packages of guaze). Later that evening, the bleeding had still not stopped so we decided a trip to the ER was in order. We found out there, the stitches done by the dentist were not ample to close the wound (an exposed vessel) and it most likely would have never stopped bleeding. Then, for the icing on the cake, a few weeks later my daughter was harassed (both by phone and in person during an appointment) in regard to an insurance question on OUR account! She is not listed as a billing contact, and is not even on the same insurance policy as my wife and I. Why was our billing information disclosed to a family member when WE had not even been contacted about the issue? (which was easily rectified once we were informed of it (second hand)). Needless to say, we wont be coming back, and will not recommend Crescent Dental to anyone.
