I wanted to get my car inspected for my insurance and it took them 3 weeks to get it done as they were always messing things up. I spoke to Arnel and told me the crack in my windshield will be fine but when I went there they told me to get it fixed. After I fixed my windshield they told me to come back by Saturday at 9am to do the inspection but the mechanic wasn't there. For the third time that I went back to this shop, they did not inspect my car. The mechanic just signed the paper without taking a look of my car and filled in the paper WRONG. So I went back the same day to get it done and explained to the owner the mistakes and I wrote down one by one what needs to get done properly. Unfortunately, the mechanic wasn't there anymore so I have to go back the next day which will be the 5th time. I went back the next morning and the paper wasn't even filled in properly that I have to tell them where they screwed up AGAIN. The owners of this shop are not professional and they are incompetent. I do not recommend this car shop and don't waste your time and money in this place. They will also blame you for their mistakes.

Thinking because I'm a women and from out of province I would just pay whatever to get car fixed. I DON'T recommend North Hill Auto Service to anyone. They did phone me about the trouble I had with my car a few days later. I said "the ABS code you found and it failed for was a stored code, not active, so why did you ask me to fix it?" Last time I used their services, I called in at 9:30 a.m. and got an appointment for 1:00 p.m. I call that fast. The price was well below other quotes I had. Importantly, when you call in, a real person answers the phone and gives you a quote right away! No recordings or electronic answering prompts to navigate. These are real people with a pulse. I've had at least 3 windshields installed here. After the fact, they look after you promptly if something needs attention. The shop is easy to find just west of Edmonton Trail, a block south of 40th Ave. If you can't spare the time to drive to their shop they will pick up your car, leave you a loaner, and return your car with new windshield 2-3 hours later.

They use high-quality products (LiquiMoly), and at the time of writing, they are usually ~$80/hr cheaper than certain dealerships. Vince does an amazing job not only owning the shop but also running it/operating it. He is never afraid to get his hands dirty.
