They transformed a 24 year-old shower/Jacuzzi combo with a doorless curbless walk-in shower. Which included floor to ceiling custom porcelain wall tiles, floor tiles, and a glass frameless shower enclosure. They removed/bricked up the outdated 5 x 5' shower block and replaced with a smaller more modern frosted window. The results are stunning. Both bathrooms vanities replaced with beautiful quartz countertops. The results were so nice that I was compelled to update my kitchen with the same bathroom countertops and then made a decision to paint the interior & exterior to match the bathrooms. Jose and Arturo painted my house (inside and out) to make it look brand new. The showpieces were the freshly painted kitchen cabinets and matching fireplace. The exterior was painted fresh and clean, and walking inside, was a wonderful experience like living in a new home with the same address. :-) My sales rep, Chad Williams, did a fantastic job with bathroom remodel recommendations and painting suggestions. He also provided a thoroughly detailed estimate, and I was not surprised by any additional charges. Contrary, there were a few minor changes of things I did not need, and the estimate was adjusted accordingly. My project manager, Erik Zamperini, kept the project on task and provided me with timely updates.

Now I would say it took a long time to get all the parts in. We ordered the work in Nov, and they started/finished in Feb. We were aware of the duration from the contract to start when we signed the contract, so this was not a problem. The price was very competitive. Note: we wished we had ordered opaque (frosted) glass doors instead of clear ones.

BEWARE!!! I hired Dawns Designs to take down and rebuild a pergola and also to resurface stamped…read moreconcrete with cool decking on our patio and stairs leading to the lake. My General Contractor from Dawns Design was Yosef Zubiz or (Joseph). They have a set schedule for payments and literally the moment their subcontractor says they are done, they expect payment and are very high pressure about this, even before you get to inspect the work. The work was being done at our lake house (1 hour away) and we kept up with the immediate schedule until I went to the lake house, the day they said, the pergola was completed. When I started reviewing the workmanship it was evident that Joseph and his subcontractor had no clue about construction. The subcontractor was onsite and it was only him and his girlfriend was trying to help him. There were 6" 2x4's spliced in several places, because he miscut the piece that should have been used, no slope on the pergola that was going to have a roof installed, 2x4's were split from the screws he used, split and badly warped rafters (2x8's), flat paint used when it was requested to use Satin finish and so many more errors to list. It took 3 weeks for these errors to get completed because my General Contractor (Yosef) would not come up to the job to inspect the work! He relies completely on the subcontractor's word!! The subcontractors said each time they called him to inspect, Yosef told them it was too far from Katy to go to Conroe. My wife and I got stuck with a pergola, where each seam of the Carbonite roofing shows, because they built the pergola with 29" rafter centers when the roofing panels are 4' on center. NO planning on their part! I had Jacob, one of the Dawn Designs owners, come out to show him the workmanship, he acted appalled with the work that was done and promised corrective measures, but could not get any replies for any corrective measures. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN and have a hard time believing these good reviews are actual reviews from actual customers. BEWARE!!!

Texas Greatest Remodelers saved the day, truely. i interviewed 3 other companies. Texas Greatest Remodelers were VERY SMARTLY PRICED compared to the others. and what they offered was the best of the four. 1) friendly project manager "MO" arrived ON-time measured my driveway and came up with a price right then and there. he explained what his company offers. No paying until work done and i'm satisfied. "mo" kept in phone/text contact with me the whole way and was present when work started and in/out throughout. i was invited to observe while men were completing work. 2) fair estimate with no surprises and no moving the goal posts, followed by contract. The contract made things EASY for my HOA as i sent the paper to them and they approved within days. 3) best quality. the other companies offered 3k to 3.5k psi concrete. TGR gave me 4.5K psi. Prompt service without compromising quality. Rain was in forecast and "mo" explained that rain may delay installation to ensure best results. it didn't rain afterall and the job proceeded on schedule! 4) I was thrilled with the beautiful job. so beautiful and no more big bumps and ugly cracks. Problem one my sprinkler heads had been damaged during work. MO investigated and promptly it was repaired. 5) 5 year warranty on work was sent to my email that is transferrable to the next owner of the home should i move. any remodeling, i will use this company

The quality of the team's work is amazing! They meticulously laid out our tiling and carefully installed all of our fixtures and everything looks and works great! We had gotten a quote from a corporate remodeling company before reaching out to Tico and it was astronomically higher and they offered no real customizations so we would have gotten a cookie cutter bathroom for double what I got my dream bathroom for. We enjoyed our experience with Tico Home Remodeling so much that we used them soon after the bathroom for another smaller project in our kitchen to replace old lighting as well.
