I have tried to support this business twice now to no success!! I placed an order on Uber Eats and them after placing my order ten minutes into waiting they cancel my order. Today I tried to give them another chance and then even placed a larger order waited 30 minutes then my Uber Eats driver calls me to inform that only a single dish washer is there that they are closed, but they accepted my order and my money and this is well during business hours, luckily Uber Eats was able to refund my money and also give me a nice little credit on my account for the trouble but I wont ever do business with this place again and discourage everyone l know from doing business here!!! read more

I ordered several things off the menu in effort to support a Black business and this Mac N Cheese is Simplee Pathetic. It's literally boiled noodles with maybe three pieces of shredded cheese . The noodles were not touched (in the photos) and immediately went in to the trash after looking for the cheese. A cheese burger was ordered and was good, just to note it's on white bread and not buns. Fries with shrimp was also ordered which were tasty, but maybe 2 pieces of shrimp in there. Again it was good, just not what I ordered. Finally to end on a positive note, the greens were really good. If I had known how poorly they were I would have Simplee gotten it. ‍. Awful! Incredibly slow and incredibly underwhelming food. They serve breakfast all day and when I arrived, it around noon. Wasn't sure if they were open due to the lack of greeting/acknowledgment. It wasn't until I looked through their barely visible carryout window when I saw a lady just sitting. After confirming if they were indeed open, I placed my order. When I asked if the wings came whole or halved I was told the latter (6 halved wings with two sides... kinda pricey but I was starving). Ended up placing four orders of the wing dinner with mac & cheese & sweet potatoes. 10 minutes later after paying, I'm told they only have mac & cheese for two dinners. How did you not know what was available? I'm assuming the mac & cheese was from the previous night because it was incredibly dry and terrible! So I substituted for fries. Finally after 25-30 minutes of waiting, my food was finally done. Chicken wasn't seasoned at all, again the macaroni was dry, the (mashed) sweet potatoes just okay, and the fries could've been cooked longer. Not worth the money, time, or another visit. read more

Will not be eating here again. Not only was this food half cold, the macaroni was not done all the way and was so cold and mushy in the middle! The baked beans were simply Luke warm as well and were VERY VERY sweet. Lastly you could literally tell the BBQ sauce was quickly slapped on the wings because it just sat on top of the chicken and when you went to eat it it was VERY thick. The wait is extremely long (30-40 mins), it's takeout only but they have a drive up window which is nice since I have small kids. I ordered the chicken and waffles and added mac and greens. The macaroni is dry and bland. The greens are a little too vinegary for me but I would get them again. The chicken is good & seasoned good too. When i tell you this establishment is the epitomy if unprofessionism. Go in to pick up the order, and to be told to pick it up at the drive thru. Hell, im already inside. To go to the drive thru and no one comes to the window. Everyone walks by not acknowledging me. Im a delivery driver and i have never been treated with such disrespect. Peoe always talk about spending money with black businesses. They treat theie own like shit!! They do not appreciate the customer. This is a bug problem in African American businesses. I don't understand how this place is open. Boarded up windows, if you go inside, they tell you to go to the drive thru. When you go to the drive thru window, they don't acknowledge you at all. It's like they don't want customers. I was picking up food for someone else, but ended up leaving after just sitting there for almost 10 mins with no acknowledgement even though they know I was there. I ordered here from Uber eats... and i wish I hadn't. Like other reviewers, the Mac and cheese has little cheese and is bland... unfortunately that's wasn't the worst thing on my plate. I ordered Sweet Potatoes and I don't know what they season with but it was by far the worst tasting sweet potatoes ever, they tasted sour. Collard greens also tasted sour, had pickles in them. I am a doordasher and my customer's food took over 30 minutes when they quoted me 7 minutes. I was late to my delivery and got zero apologies or explanation. They told me to leave the restaurant and pull up to the drive thru window where i believe they forgot about me, because someone behind me received their food before me. I've ordered from them previously through door dash and I was pleased . However today I received the worst customer service available, and shame on DoorDash I didn't receive my food either. I'm more upset with how Simplee Deelicious staff handled me and my concerns.i called spoke with a lady who acknowledged my order acknowledged I was sent the wrong food. And I was told they would send it out... a while later I call to check on the status of my order was told I didn't place a order and to call DoorDash... now how would I receive the wrong order if I never placed an order at all.... no one was able to explain that at the restaurant. The manger yelled at me and told me she knew what she was doing. Also I needed to call DoorDash. Sis was beyond rude in her tone in her response. Sad part I had just hyped this place up at the post office today in reynoldsburg. Sis never offered a satisfactory solution. So please hear me clear I will not be supporting endorsing this establishment or DoorDash I'm done.
