I've had experiences with dentists where they cancel on you short notice, but charge you when you cancel an un-confirmed appointment. I've had experiences with misrepresentation on the billing and more. I haven't had any of these bad experiences at Hawthorne Dental Associates and I've been going here for several years now. Dr. Rosenson and the staff are easily the best dentist office that I've dealt with. They are always very professional, accommodating and courteous. I appreciate that they always do their best to schedule me as soon as possible. The x-rays and cleanings are always quick and painless. I especially appreciate the thoroughness and gentleness. Dr. Rosenson has always been very personable and provides good dental advice. I have not been disappointed with any of the work I have had done. I will continue to be a patient at Hawthorne Dental Associates and recommend them to anybody who is looking for a dentist in the area.

However, I was charged $680 for teeth whitening, which was not clearly explained or requested as my primary concern. Later, a root canal was performed, but another dental clinic confirmed through X-rays that the work was incomplete and improperly done. Unfortunately, my tooth had to be extracted as a result. Additionally, multiple insurance claims were submitted under Dr. Peter Tsambazis, a dentist I never personally met. Payments were requested using printed "co-pay" amounts before full explanations were given. My insurance later denied several of these claims due to billing issues. This experience caused me permanent tooth loss, financial burden, and severe stress. I strongly recommend extreme caution.
