We stopped in for a quick bite before heading to Game Galaxy. Man I am so glad we did this food is perfection. I had the hickory burger, wife had the fish tacos and my son had the Prime Rib Sandwich. Simple Grill was a great choice for our dinner tonight. We found it on Yelp and decided to try it. It's a small, quiet restaurant in a small shopping strip. We were seated immediately and ordered drinks. Our waitress, Ginny answered all our questions about the menu and was very knowledgeable. We ordered fish tacos, a prime rib sandwich, a strip steak, and Santafe chicken. It does take time for the meals to be cooked, so be patient, it is so worth it. The owner/cook came out and spoke to every table. Everything was properly cooked and delicious. Next time we are in Smyrna, we will definitely be back. Food was delicious, I found the place on Apple Maps with 4.5 stars so we had never been here and I was craving grilled food. My father had the catfish with mango sauce from the tacos and when he asked for a spicy sauce, the manager gave us a delicious spicy Nigerian house made sauce that was delicious! Fries were pretty good as well as the Mac and cheese pretty excellent. Everything was very good had no complaints. As for the staff very nice and attentive and the inside is very cozy and very clean but I wish they had surround sound instead of a few speakers or one was only working or what sounded like it was I think. Their bigger should be called the Love burger. Calling it a cheeseburger does it no justice. Seasoned well, soft like butter than melts in your mouth and seduces your mouth with flavor. So my family and I randomly picked this restaurant to eat for dinner on a Saturday evening. We were visiting the area so we weren't sure on where to eat. The place was not very busy on a Saturday. We were greeted by a young gentleman who told us to sit wherever we wanted. My kids had chicken tenders with French fries. They both loved it. I had some of their fries and the fries were absolutely delicious. They had some very good seasoning on it. My wife ordered the fish tacos and I ordered their creole pasta dish. Both dishes were absolutely phenomenal. We both loved the food. I'd highly recommend this place. The only negative was it took about 30 minutes for our food to come out but we were in no hurry. The wait time was a little long but we later found out that the owner cooks all plates of food, so worth it! I had the best steak ever and then he comes out to see how our food was and tells me that he called his supplier over the steak as he felt the old was too tough and ask for a better cut. He uses an actual butcher. Husband had Sante Fe Chicken... loved it but said a bigger portion was needed. Son had a burger that was hand made! Server was so kind and attentive, she's the only one so if In a hurry go elsewhere but if time permits come for sure! I have eatten here twice. The first time there was not much on the menu that they had that night so we were limited to 2 items. beef and i got soup and salad. it tasted good but gosh it took forever. Then i went with a few friends. it took FOREVER to get our food. none of it came out at the same time. 1/2 the people had finished before i ever got my food. it took me an hour to get fish tacos. i won't be going back. that is ridiculous. read more

This place is the best! We have had just about everything on the menu. Our rule is to order the Rib Basket every time we visit. They are very tender and delicious. He makes his own BBQ sauce which makes the ribs extra special. Their burgers are cooked to perfection. The bacon jam on the Hickory burger adds a nice sweet tang. I'm not sure how he gets the Southwest Chicken so tender, but you don't even need a knife to cut it. The flavor and seasonings are so delicious. read more

The chicken was so tender and well seasoned. The owner greeted us!!! Here's the crazy thing... the air condition, was out temporarily on one of the hottest days of the year.
