Simple Grill was a great choice for our dinner tonight. We found it on Yelp and decided to try it. It's a small, quiet restaurant in a small shopping strip. We were seated immediately and ordered drinks. Our waitress, Ginny answered all our questions about the menu and was very knowledgeable. We ordered fish tacos, a prime rib sandwich, a strip steak, and Santafe chicken. It does take time for the meals to be cooked, so be patient, it is so worth it. The owner/cook came out and spoke to every table. Everything was properly cooked and delicious. Next time we are in Smyrna, we will definitely be back. If you are looking for a nice peaceful, delicious dinner, try Simple Grill!! read more

Food was good. We came around 12:45 and there were only a couple of other people in the restaurant. Service was a little slow but not too bad. Fish tacos were good. Hubby had the Reuben and he said it was good as well. Would recommend. read more

Food was delicious, I found the place on Apple Maps with 4.5 stars so we had never been here and I was craving grilled food. My father had the catfish with mango sauce from the tacos and when he asked for a spicy sauce, the manager gave us a delicious spicy Nigerian house made sauce that was delicious! Fries were pretty good as well as the Mac and cheese pretty excellent. Everything was very good had no complaints. As for the staff very nice and attentive and the inside is very cozy and very clean but I wish they had surround sound instead of a few speakers or one was only working or what sounded like it was I think. Definitely recommend it and they are a newly opened business so definitely check it out. read more

Everything was delicious and hot. Ribeye steak cooked perfectly, Reuben was excellent, and fish tacos were the best I've had. Cole slaw was very tasty. Service was kind and attentive. read more

Great food! Their Caeser salad is on point. Got a filet mignon on and it was seasoned and cooked perfectly . Mac and cheese was 4.5/5. Not a ton of ambiance so I don't think I'd come her on a. First date or anything but the food great and the service is friendly! read more

Their bigger should be called the Love burger. Calling it a cheeseburger does it no justice. Seasoned well, soft like butter than melts in your mouth and seduces your mouth with flavor. I have lived around Nashville most of my life and this was a top 5 burger. The owner and staff were also nice people. read more

Simple grill is simply amazing. Fish tacos were perfection, side salad was generous and fresh. Customer service is top and the owner came around and asked how we were doing. Simply great! read more

So my family and I randomly picked this restaurant to eat for dinner on a Saturday evening. We were visiting the area so we weren't sure on where to eat. The place was not very busy on a Saturday. We were greeted by a young gentleman who told us to sit wherever we wanted. My kids had chicken tenders with French fries. They both loved it. I had some of their fries and the fries were absolutely delicious. They had some very good seasoning on it. My wife ordered the fish tacos and I ordered their creole pasta dish. Both dishes were absolutely phenomenal. We both loved the food. I'd highly recommend this place. The only negative was it took about 30 minutes for our food to come out but we were in no hurry. The kids food came out first, then my wife's, then mine .....The food was fresh and delicious but I wish the food would have came out together. read more

We LOVED our dinner at Simple Grill! Family owned and operated and such a friendly crew! The food was delicious, I can't wait to go back again & try some of the other dishes! They have options for everyone, including vegetarian and pescatarian options. Everything is super fresh and so well-seasoned. Topped it off with an ice cold beer! Our toddler got to my Mac & Cheese side and barely left me any...he has good taste like his Mama! :) read more

Food quality, taste and plating are amazing. This local, family-run business is a gem. Highest recommendations are that you visit post haste. Personally the club sandwich, of which I am an aficionado, is without a doubt, the best had to date! Enjoy! read more

The wait time was a little long but we later found out that the owner cooks all plates of food, so worth it! I had the best steak ever and then he comes out to see how our food was and tells me that he called his supplier over the steak as he felt the old was too tough and ask for a better cut. He uses an actual butcher. Husband had Sante Fe Chicken... loved it but said a bigger portion was needed. Son had a burger that was hand made! Server was so kind and attentive, she's the only one so if In a hurry go elsewhere but if time permits come for sure! Very clean and quiet, all TV's playing the same game, maybe allow one to be on something different for those that don't love sports. Open blinds so not so dark inside. read more

Then i went with a few friends. it took FOREVER to get our food. none of it came out at the same time. 1/2 the people had finished before i ever got my food. it took me an hour to get fish tacos. i won't be going back. that is ridiculous. read more

This is a hidden gem! Took our family here for Sunday dinner and had a fantastic experience. Staff was friendly and service was great. Food was excellent. Between the five of us in our party we covered a pretty diverse selection of dinners and lunches. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and the welcoming atmosphere. The Mac and cheese side was amazing! Topped off with the chocolate brownie a la mode. Prices were reasonable too. I love to support local and The Simple Grill was exponentially better than any chain! Highly recommend making this your go to spot! read more

Amazing! Food and service are excellent! It's definitely a hidden gem. Start with the homemade spinach and artichoke dip. So good!

Great homemade hamburger and fries. Nice place, not a dress up but the service was excellent. Will go again for the steak!

Bad experience, I would NOT recommend! Food was ok, I guess, when we finally got it. I have never had a burger with cold shredded cheese (un melted) on a cold dry bun right out of the bag, not toasted or even warm!!!! Rude waitress. I'll not be back!!! read more

This place is the best! We have had just about everything on the menu. Our rule is to order the Rib Basket every time we visit. They are very tender and delicious. He makes his own BBQ sauce which makes the ribs extra special. Their burgers are cooked to perfection. The bacon jam on the Hickory burger adds a nice sweet tang. I'm not sure how he gets the Southwest Chicken so tender, but you don't even need a knife to cut it. The flavor and seasonings are so delicious. read more

Good food, good service This is a hidden jewel. The owners are great and love to come out to see if you enjoyed your meal. I have been twice and will go again. The hamburger was well. The Ruben was amazing and service was outstanding. We went at lunch and had almost no wait time. Highly recommend it!

So happy to have found this restaurant near my sister-in-law's house in Smyrna. Our food was very good and prepared by what I would consider an excellent chef. The fries were hot and crispy, the chicken strips nicely but not heavily breaded, the coke slaw tasty, the Ruben sandwich excellent, and the club sandwich one of the best we've ever had. We look forward to eating there many more times! read more
