He commented on how carefully the men were in cutting the branches down to avoid any damage to plants, fencing or decking. He also commented on how nice all of the men were. So I figured I'd find a true tree doctor with an education that may be able to help save this trees life?? Steve answered the phone and made it clear his services were not free. Okay I get that, and I wasn't expecting free service. He then went on at how people who offer free estimates are just trying to sell you something and he didn't get an education to do that. I simply asked him if I could send him a photo of the tree just to not waste his time. If he thought it had a chance in saving by the photo or figured it would need a closer look to tell, we would have scheduled and paid for him to come out. However, he rudely said he was not going to look at a photo and simply say I should come out for further examination or nope it's too far gone. Hell he could have just said I can't tell from a photo and need to do this and this test first and I would have said okay let's schedule.. but no he was repeating himself again now in a different tone that he won't look at a photo for free.. lol I'm sure he has plenty of business, but he will never get mine and I'm sure he's lost a lot..
