I spent over 2 1/2 hours sifting through what appeared to be a very large selection of rugs, only to learn once I narrowed down my search to my top 3 choices, two of those three were no longer available to order (but still in the showroom as available samples). I moved on from my rug to choose my custom couch. The order was entered so I assumed all was good - yay! Nope! One week after ordering, I received a phone call stating the material I chose was no longer available and I needed to make another selection - which also meant changing my four accent pillows and returning the rug that I had purchased elsewhere. Lastly, our recliners were standard (non-custom) orders. We were given a delivery date of up to 12-15 weeks out! Because we were exhausted in this purchasing process, we agreed. Now, here I am....15 weeks out with no update. I called to check on the status of our order, only to learn it has been pushed out another 6-8 weeks - for STANDARD recliners! Prepare yourself for what appears to be great variety and selection in their showroom, but then learning, it really isn't an option, as well as 5-6 months to get your order! If we weren't already months into this process, I would cancel for sure!

Wow, they really screwed us over. We paid a lot for this POS; the frame broke, ALL THE CUSHIONS AND PILLOWS went FLAT, the fabric is scratchy, (they talked us out of a different fabric because it would take up to 6-7 months to receive said couch, not to mention that the original couch we initially picked was a complete different layout etc. We went to the salesman to purchase "our dream couch" and come to fond out after 20-30 minutes it was unavailable because it had a wrong display marker). We had to start all over again, after hours of deciding. (We live almost two hours away, work weekdays, and it was during Covid. We wound up picking this POS for over 3500. We desperately needed new nice furniture, and this is what we got. Huge disappointment. We splurged, all we got was this POS, horrible and rude customer service, no resolutions.

My friend who has had one for a year is battling the unraveling. So I went to Kurosh rugs. They found several rugs in my price range (it will cost you more than one ruggable rug, but since you have to buy them so often, not really saving money). I took them home and although they were nice we didn't ultimately choose either. So I'm saving up to get one of the absolutely stunning rugs that were just out of my price range. Because I want a beautiful rug for the rest of my life. And that is what they are selling. Stunning rugs for a lifetime. Not something that will be in a landfill faster than some of my t-shirts.

There were sections with Christmas related merchandise and just other merchandise. I naturally gravitated towards the stationary/book section-- lots of offerings there. The food/drink sections were huge. Lots of items to explore including international items as well. I thought that was very neat. I briefly looked at the jewelry/aromatherapy section. I found a few pieces of jewelry I'd wear, super cute! Lastly, I headed over to the kitchen section. Found some really cool plates and other kitchen items. I do have to say I was a little disappointed that I passed 3 employees during my visit and not one even acknowledged me. I thought that was very strange and unacceptable. You should say hello to customers when they visit the store. Customer service skills are a large part of customer satisfaction and help decide if the customer will be returning or not. Josh was our salesperson, and was tireless, knowledgeable, and patient in working out different options and educating us about the pros and cons. We did some comparison shopping. BCO's good pricing, their responsiveness and promptness, and them doing their own work (not subcontracting) were compelling, so we went with them. After we ordered the work, BCO was able to put the job on schedule within days. The BCO installers accidentally installed the vinyl plank in the wrong area. This error also led to some other issues. When BCO realized this, it immediately acknowledged its error and responsibility, and worked to correct as soon as it could. The BCO installers were back the next day to start addressing the issues, and Eric and another employee even visited the job after their workdays, just to evaluate and determine solutions. Matt (general manager) got involved at the end to make sure that we were satisfied with the resolution. (We were!) However careful a company is, some type of error will happen sometime to that company - that's a fact of life. How the company - and the people at the company - respond sets the great ones apart. And Bloomington Carpet One, through its actions and the actions of its employees, clearly distinguishes itself as a great company!

No pressure to buy on the spot. Ended up coming back later that night to buy. My toddlers were with me and treated like royalty by the sales staff. Dinged them one star for the lack of follow up after purchase. The furniture had to be ordered, then delivered to my house. No one ever called to tell me it had come in. When I called to inquire, the woman on the phone acted like it was obvious that I would need to call to confirm my stuff had come in and call to schedule delivery. A miss in the sales process to not have someone calling when items come in. The delivery guys were fantastic and kind. Love my new couch and chair!

Bought an "L" shaped sectional with (with 3 year INSURANCE) multiple motorized pieces. The Insurance scam team they use is INSURANCE CARE PROTECTION and once you've given them your money you'll never see it or see the fruit of having insurance because of a predictor fraud policy that they have to protect keeping your money with no results. The first week, well probably first few days, the back of the section that bends in the "L" shape broke just from minor sitting back in it. I know exactly how much pressure was placed on it cause I did it. Tried to see what I could do for it then called but got run around cause it was weekend. Had to call them back and then played musical phones for a while. My phone says their number is connected to fraud or scam calls so no surprise. They had me send ALOT of pictures and then told me (after I called them again of course for followup) the policy is only good if claimed within 5 days. Yeah it's in the policy. So the policy is good for 3 years BUT once and after a single claim has been made it's VOID for everything on that piece! Guess I'll have to fix that myself. Now I have a motorized leg piece not working on another piece let's see what will happen. Called same day, "someone will call you back," but we had to call back then they said no claim had been made with that call. More phone tag, "we'll call you back within 24 hrs" but don't and musical chairs so far. I'd give them a zero in stars but Yelp won't let me cause that what they deserve. Actually Negative 5 stars. Becker Furniture back your own product so I blame you as well so stop using predatory insurance scammers. INSURANCE CARE PROTECTION quit your practices. Buyer Beware!
