It's a nice drive on the back roads from OKC to Simon's. They had a large clean dining area. We ordered the all you can eat catfish and it was very good. The wait staff was friendly and professional. The drive was worth the experience at Simon's Catch. read more

My husband and I were staying in this lovely town for the night and googled restaurants and chose to eat here and try their "all you can eat" catfish. Boy, are we glad we did. The catfish was hot and fresh. Destanie was our server and what a pleasant experience she gave us! She had us try different dips for our catfish and one we named " Destanie's dipping sauce. That was our favorite. She is a blessing to Simon's Catch!! We highly recommend this restaurant and ask for Destanie and her special sauce!!! read more

Wow! Wow! Just had dinner at Simon's Catch in Elk City! So delicious. The catfish was so tasty and the variety of sides that come with the all you can eat is amazing: coleslaw, hush puppies, relish dish of pickles, seasoned pickles, red onion, seasoned pinto beans, French fries. Well worth the short trip out of Elk City. And our server, Carly, was a true gem. Encourage anyone on their way out of the state to stop & be amazed! read more

They have the best catfish in the state of Oklahoma without a doubt! The shrimp there is pretty good. But they also have the best steak I've had in western Oklahoma! read more

Great catfish, lovely venue. Unique atmosphere and great menu. Great place you need to go.

So I moved here and all I kept hearing was they Simons Catch! You will love it! It's expensive, but so worth it! Best seafood around! Well I finally did. For one thing, catfish is not seafood. It is usually freshwater and I don't like it. The only other option is shrimp. Large good shrimp, but way over priced. This is their whole menu. Oh and I do believe a steak. The prices are to high for what you get and it is not that great. My son said he had better catfish fried up at the river out of the mouth of babes‍ read more

It's a really amazing place to stop by and look at all the animals they have fenced in outside! There catfish is amazing! You should definitely try it! read more

Location: N 35 degrees, 21.845 minutes W 099 degrees, 29.628 minutes Get off the freeway at exit 34, go south about a mile and you will see a sign pointing to the west. Take that road west for about 1.3 miles. The building did not have a sign when we visited, just look for a busy parking lot on the north side of the road. THE DIRECTIONS IN YELP ARE WRONG! Food was great, our steaks were excellent, flavorful. They were not highly tender, but had a good chew to them (not tough, either). Most of the people in the restaurant were enjoying the all-you-can-eat catfish, and they were very happy indeed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. read more

Food was wonderful! Service was great. I've had fish and steak and both were good. The desserts are tasty!!

This place is a hidden gem! Take the drive and satisfy you hunger for a great steak! They have great catfish too! This place reminds you of a hunting lodge with great food. Service is good as well. The consistency of the food means we have never been disappointed in all our many trips. -Brent read more

Cute place, very out of the way. We were looking for someplace open in Elk City on a Sunday night as we drove route 66. The decor was very plain, I would describe it as low budget lodge style. It was very clean, the service was good and friendly. My wife and I split a 16 ounce steak which was cooked perfectly, and delicious! The french fries and hush puppies were not great. They tasted like reheated frozen bulk items. The coleslaw was delicious, but also tasted like it was a ready-made bulk item. They started vacuuming the floors 45 minutes before closing time, while we were still eating our meal! As I said in the beginning, the steak and the service were great, and I would go back again. read more

All I can say is AMAZING! My boyfriend and I went to try this resturant that is definatly in the "middle of nowhere" bit if you stop and ask any local they will point you to the right direction with a smile :) We got the All you can eat Catfish and it was all and more what we were expecting. If you like pinto beans, you're in luck. The meal comes with an unlimited serving of them They are hands down the best pinto beans either one of us had ever eaten! The staff was friendly and we got our food in no time at all. We will be back sooner than later! read more

I enjoyed my experience at Simon's Catch. The place it's self is quite nice. Probably a little hard to find if you are not from the area. Luckily we had a local with us, so he took us there on our last night in Oklahoma. First off we showed up about 15 minutes before they closed and still took us in without any grumbling. The menu is quite simple they only have catfish, shrimp, steaks, and sides. I don't like fish so I got the shrimp which were very good paired with the horseradish cocktail sauce that comes with the order. What really stood out to me were the fries and hush puppies they were quite good. I don't see myself in that area ever again, but I'm glad we ate there. Hands down the best dining experience I had In Oklahoma. read more

The Oklahoma Dining Guide was our source for this restaurant as well as the docents at the Route 66 National Museum in Elk City. It's about 7 miles out of Elk City in the country. The menu is quite simple - catfish, shrimp & various beef cuts. The ambiance is hunting and fishing. Get there early as it fills up quickly with local folks. The catfish and shrimp were breaded and fried. Both were superb. The catfish is all you can eat. The other stars were pickled green tomatoes, Cole slaw & cowboy beans. Save room for dessert, the brownie topped with ice cream, whipped cream & a cherry. Overall. An outstanding meal read more

love not just the catfish, beans, coleslaw, steaks, but also love their hamburgers... YES, they have hamburgers I had one there at Christmas..2014 .. I wish I knew how they make their beans. Mine does not taste like theirs read more

This restaurant and all of the employees were fantastic!!! We were driving from Colorado to Arkansas, on a Sunday, and stopped here 40 minutes before they closed. Not only were they super friendly but they went out of their way to accommodate our 9 year old grandson's dietary needs!!! The food was extremely delicious, fresh and HOT!! It is very rare that you can get fresh, hot fried catfish at an establishment so close to closing. The steaks that were ordered were cooked PERFECTLY!!! If we are ever in that area again we WILL STOP!!! I highly recommend driving a little off the beaten path to find this fantastic place! read more

We ate the all-you-can-eat catfish. It was good and hot, tasted pretty fresh. Not as much seasoning as I usually like but they had Louisiana hot sauce upon request. After I ordered a family sat down next to us and ordered steaks. After seeing their steaks and seeing some of the awards in the front of the restaurant, I decided next time I was in I needed one of those steaks to try. We will be back next time we're passing through to sample more of Simon's Catch read more

This restaurant appears to be closed for good. The sign indicated their open hours and it was empty and dark. No indication on the phone message. read more

The best steak in town!!!!! Wonderful people also. My niece and I went there for dinner. We had a great time.

I was there last night and the good and service was awesome. Our waitress was Brittany and she was great. If you go in there ask for her she is the best. Great atmosphere and great people. Smiling faces is warming to the soul. read more

Holy steak my wife and I went out for a date night and this was our first time eating at this fine establishment. She had the rib eye which was cooked to perfection and was a very tasty. But as soon as I cut into my fillet I have never had a steak so well prepared and so tasty. I took a bight and automatically I was in heaven, I had to give my wife a piece and she automatically fell in love as well, she said "it's like eating mashed potatoes". That's how soft and delicious that steak was. We will be back for more no doubts. Check them out you won't be disappointed. read more

This is a diamond in the rough for sure! The catfish special is a must! Staff very attentive and friendly! Quick service, tasty food and plenty of it! Follow directions and don't worry, you will find it in the middle of some houses and fields with horses and cattle. Give it a try, I'm sure you will be very happy you did!! read more

This restaurant is in the middle of nowhere, literally. If it wasn't for the fact that I used to live in the area it's located in I wouldn't have found it again, but it was worth the two hour drive. Simon's has the BEST catfish in the state of Oklahoma and I don't say that lightly. My family noodles. You actually eat catfish and not just breading like most places. It is also very fresh. Out of the ten or more times I have eaten there I haven't had one piece that tasted fishy. They also have steaks and other things on the menu but I always go for the catfish. When you get the all you can eat catfish it comes with hush puppies, coleslaw, green tomatoes, pickles, baked beans, and french fries. (The french fries are baked.) It is so much food. I think that the three of us that went ate 14 pieces of fish before it was all said and done. Sometimes I feel like they are going to have to wheel me out. The service is great and I may be mistaken but I think it is family owned. If you have some time you should definitely go and try it. For $10.99 you can have one of the best meals of your life. If it was $20 it would still be worth it. (Located on S On Exit 34 (1-40 & Merritt R, Elk City, OK 73644) read more

I have eaten here at least a dozen times and have never been disappointed. I have only had the catfish. This fat boy can't pass up the all you can eat catfish. It is always fresh and consistent. The home fries are great as well as the cole slaw and hush puppies. I live about 100 miles away, so I don't get to come very often. I highly recommend this place if you like fried catfish! read more

Simon's Catch is THE place to eat if you want to feel really special. I recently took a neighbor friend there for his 90th birthday. Not only did they recognize him with a dessert, topped with a birthday candle, but they gathered round and sang Happy Birthday which encouraged others in the restaurant to join in. Add to that the fact that the food, especially the catfish, was delicious, served family style with brown beans, hush puppies and cole slaw. It was a delightful evening with just-for-you kind of service. It was a birthday dinner, not to be forgotten. read more

Great catfish! Beans and fries are homemade and good. I've had the steak too and it was cooked perfectly and delicious. One of my favorites.

The steaks were cooked to perfection and the staff was excellent! Desert is spot on as well.

Great Rib-eye, Great Fries. The only reason I only gave 4 stars, is it is too kid-friendly for me. Will visit again.

The catfish is cooked to perfection! The fixin' that go along with catfish are amazing! Especially, the green tomato relish is a real treat! Service is impeccable! read more

The catfish is crisp and not greasy. Delicious green tomato relish. Such a delightful compliment to the catfish and the pinto beans. Their fries are fresh, hot and delicious. Some claim that their steaks are the best, but they weren't mind-blowing, in my opinion. It was a good steak but I feel like catfish is where it's at! We ordered the strip. read more

Went with my son and husband loved this little place with excellent fried catfish dinner with all the sides!!

My husband Ed and I Ioved Simon's Catch. We were driving from Tucson, Arizona, to Peoria,Illinois, and happened to see this wonderful restaurant on the Internet. Simon's Catch is located on a wooded lot with a little lake and looks like a charming wooden cabin. The food is all fresh; truly home made.and delicious. The "all you can eat catfish" dinner is especially delicious, and the service was excellent. All the staff, including the owner Ms.Simon, are lovely and friendly, and we couldn't have had a better dinner or enjoyed our time there more.. Can't wait to go to Elk City again! I love Simon's Catch! Although slightly off the beaten path, you are missing a wonderful Oklahoma institution if you pass up on the opportunity to enjoy it. Living in Texas, I rarely get up that way, but trust that I never hit Elk City without making the short (and pretty) drive south to eat. The food and service are reliably fantastic. I enjoy the thick cut ribeye steak seared to perfection. Though I've sampled most of the menu and haven't gone wrong yet. Make the trip, meet the warm and inviting staff and be prepared for a wonderful lunch or dinner. I wish there were more stars to give. read more

ARE YOU TRAVELING ON THE 40 AND REALLY WANT A UNIQUE AND REALLY DELICIOUS EXPERIENCE? From I-40 take Exit 34 (Merritt Road) then go 1.5 miles South and 1.5 miles West. You won't see a sign but it's on the right .... just watch for it! http://www.simonscatch.com/ I have had the catfish.....SOOOOOOOOOOO yum. My husband has had the steaks and let me try a bite - they are super good too...I will get that next time! Hushpuppies, cole slaw, beans oh my!!! So good ..... fabulous iced tea too! It may be crazy to rave about the tea...but there wasn't a thing about Simons Catch I didn't love! Even outside is an adventure! Look beyond the fence...there's an Emu and then the elk are hiding in the distance! Before you know it you're looking around and deer start walking by! I can't wait for it to be warm enough to enjoy our meal on the large patio out back! Love, love, love it!!! Go there you won't regret it if you are looking for something great to eat, friendly service and so very quick! Quite reasonably priced as well! oh wait....tasty fries on the side....yep they do it right read more

I love Simon's Catch catfish, but it's outrageously expensive if you want to get any different sides than those that come with the meal. I wanted salad instead of all of the sides that come with it. Fries are so fattening! It was something like an extra $4 for the salad. For the two of us to eat it was more than $40.00. I don't know that I will ever eat there again at that price. I don't usually want but 1 or 2 hush puppies and none of the other sides. I would rather have a small side salad to go with my fish. Excellent food if you can afford it though! Since we live here in Elk we may go once or twice a year. read more
