On the outside it's a little unassuming even though the plaza itself is nice, but the decor inside was elegant. Our server was really friendly. Unfortunately, she di forget to bring into our appetizer. But we even forgot until after we were eating dinner so we didn't say anything (and it turns out it wasn't on the check either). We went at around 8:30 pm on a Friday night and there were only a few other tables, it they're open until 3am so we assume it is more of a late night spot. We both thought the food was incredible though. I had salmon (which was cooked to perfection) and cilantro rice. I ordered vegetables (zucchini, tomatoes, and broccolini) which were also surprisingly tasty. My husband had the mofongo. It was just different from the typical Puerto Rican mofongo in that didn't come with sauce other than some garlic sauce, but the taste was still great. He also liked the chicken that came with it. We will def be returning here in the future!

The place was pretty empty on a Thursday afternoon like 2pm. I ordered the chicken lomo and lentil soup and wow. The waiter was also really welcoming. Inside the ambiance was nice, I am sure it would be a lively dinner spot too. The menu has a variety of Latin choices and it was hard for me to decide. I'll be back! I knocked off one star because for it not being so busy the service was a tad slow but his attitude was so great and I wasn't in a rush I didn't mind too much.

Looked on yelp for a nearby place to get Ramen and saw wonderful reviews for KOW. And so I ventured over. Looking unassuming from the outside in a strip mall, this is a really nice place for a quiet and wonderful meal. I was struck how it was not just Ramen, but a variety of different cuisines on one menu. I really wanted to try them all, but stuck with Ramen as that is what I was looking for on that particular evening. It did not disappoint. People have described it as the best Ramen in the area and I will not argue that point. I will, however, say that the portion was on a small side and I was still hungry afterwards. This is the only reason for the missing star. The flavor was excellent. The protein and added dumplings were all perfect. The broth was delicious. The servive was outstanding. The ambience was comfortable and truly enjoyable to have a nice conversation with my dining companion. I found the menu a bit overwhelming, but I will go back to try some of the other things as I looked around the table and people are eating a variety of different foods and by foods I mean food types as the offerings are so diverse. Prices are a bit on the high side, but my first impression is that the value is there to command those prices because the food is superb. Potentially a five star restaurant...stay tuned.

We ordered the Alligator bites ugghh....they were chewy and hard..really bad, so we returned that. I ordered a simple cheeseburger medium, it came well done, when I thought to show the server, he was MIA, mind you it was @3ish and not packed. Unfortunately our server was not friendly, impatient and didn't come to check on us at all. We were hungry so we just ate it. I had also ordered a small cup of sausage gumbo, a cup and they charged more than $8 it wasn't good, it was way too seasoned and salty and super thick. I added a little bit of water...again another miss. My son ordered some grilled chicken strips with fries. He seemed to enjoy it. That was the only good thing from all of this for a bill of more than $50! I was waiting to pay my bill and again the server was nowhere to be found. I had to ask the hostess, to find him. Place has the size to host big game party's, multiple TV's everywhere you eye can see, maybe a good happy hour, sadly for us, never again. **no pics, no good**

If you are with a big group, you have to wait a bit. We were a party of 12, the staff was very accommodating and managed to sit at 2 tables of 6 people side by side. The place is kinda small so not really ideal for larger groups. We still had a wonderful time. The food was all delicious from the appetizers to the entrees. I really enjoyed the gyozas, they were crunchy on the outside but so savory on the inside. The soup dumplings literally burst in your mouth. They were so yummy. The fried milk bun felt like I was eating a Thai donut, I expected something different but it was good. As an entree I enjoyed the Tonkatsu hot pot, presentation was 10/10. The broth tastes so good, I couldn't get enough, they use rice noodles for this dish specifically which I love. Everyone was great service wise, very kind and accommodating. The only thing I will say is that 2 dishes took longer than expected to arrive so some of the people in our party had to wait a bit longer to eat their food. Other than that, we enjoyed the food very much. The boba tea was also so good! They have a good variety of flavors to choose from, my cousins got a rainbow one and it looked so appealing to the eye. I had the green tea lemonade and added boba, it was very refreshing.

It's a South American version of Italian cuisine. Let's start with how the place looks: on looks alone, it'd be the type of place that had it not been because my friend wanted to go there, I would have walked out immediately upon getting the first glimpse inside. While there's nothing terrible about how the place looks, it screams: we are not a total success and esthetics is not top of mind for us; with odd pieces of equipment, furniture and decor. It looked like a bit of a 90's 'time warp'. The place was small, and it was packed on a Tuesday night - I guess that means something. We had to wait for a table where some poor guy with a backpack was sitting awaiting his carry out pizza. After a few minutes he was 'oddly' relocated to a beat-up pleather armchair-stool (where top layer had peeled off) at the 'bar' (literally a view of the pizza oven) - the 'seat' came from somewhere in the back of the restaurant to make due for the poor guy (it was freezing outside that night) - needless to say, it was an odd scene (seemed like he was being evicted to the bar); and that set the tone for what about to go down for us that night. The table he was in before he was evicted from in order to give it to us (without them changing any of the tableware [glasses, silverware, napkins] that was already laid out on top of it) was what I like to call, a 'divorcee' table. It was a foot away from entrance door, and it was about 2 feet wide and 4 feet long, and it was butted long-side against the glass storefront, so we almost had to shout at each other from 4' away. The server seemed like a friend of the owner or family member, and behaved a bit odd. He advised about a special where we'd get a free bottle of red wine if we ordered two entrees, which was our case; however, given neither of us drinks, much less red wine, I asked if they had white instead, to which he swiftly replied 'no' as in: it is what it is. He asked if we wanted to take the bottle home and we declined since we wouldn't use it. Instead, we asked if we could swap it for free garlic rolls (3 pieces for $2.95), and just as swiftly he shut that down , so we forwent our more costly wine and paid for the garlic rolls - they were average (rate 3 out of 5). There was a dish that I believe was Alfredo with ham - now, that's a first for me in an Italian restaurant. I told my friend, I've never seen ham as a protein for an Alfredo unless they meant pancetta, but no, they meant cubed deli ham. So I opted to change the dish at a premium. Since I'm a fan of a good Alfredo, against my best judgement, I asked for the 'Alfredo' with chicken instead ($24 with chicken here). It was VERY HEAVY as if they had made it largely with oil and heavy cream. Thankfully, the Parmesan cheese and charred chicken helped make it acceptable. However, something was amiss with that dish as it sent me straight to the bathroom upon arriving home - and that extended until the next day, and maybe day after that. It could have been the included small side salad - who knows. My friend ordered the Ravioli Di Portobello at $29 - not an adequate price for this place. My Alfredo should have been more like $20 based on quality and locale state. For dessert, we tried the limoncello cake ($9.95; 4 out of 5) - the waiter read the dessert from memory and recommended that one. It wasn't bad except for the fact that it was drizzled in bitter dark chocolate topping. Not something I'd personally expect on a limoncello cake. When we brought that up to waiter as something he should have warned us about, he's attitude was like: that's how we do it, which it's fine, 'as long as you warn the customer' - it's like asking for tiramisu and finding out that restaurant makes it with nuts - if it's not the norm, and customer is not looking at the menu, common sense should kick in and customer should be warned. Anywho, suffice it to say, this is not a place I'd ever return to. Bouna fortuna for the thrill seekers.
