First time here. Not from this area. Literally saw them on the street driving by. It's a smaller…read morespot than the other places I've been to, but they had interesting items when I was there. I found a couple of useful items. These are returns or overstock from companies and these small vendors bid on pallets and charge whatever they want for them. They had some real good deals for what they were charging that day and came home with some goodies. The little young boy working the front was also such a little gentleman and a true hustler. The young businessman offered me a large bag to hold all my items when he saw I had a handful of things. The place is cluttered and messy though. The items in the bins are somewhat ripped open or sealed so whatever you're buying is either defective or used so be careful what you're paying for. Also, a lot of the stuff sitting at the back are dusty and old. The area should be more organized or clean. Other than that I'd probably check them out again. The one-off is that their store hours is WRONG on Yelp/website. They are not closed Thursdays. When we called to confirm, the guy behind the phone didn't understand what we were trying to tell him and he hung up.

I always buy pricey organic foods and I'm certain that I've saved hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars here over the years. I do agree with others that there is no consistency in their products, but that is kind of a given in a store like this. I deducted one star because there have been several times I've felt donwright unsafe walking into or out of this store because of the tweakers in the parking lot. I know there is *some* security on site but I feel like more should be done to protect customers....there was even an occasion where I asked a male employee to walk me to my car because I was so afraid after an unsettling encounter with a man on a bicycle as I was walking in.

When I first moved to San Diego I had a roommate who loved GTM and went about once a month. She…read moreshowed me her deals and talked about it constantly. Since then, I have been meaning to go but Santee, Chula Vista and the former Lemon grove area stores were just too far from north county. I'm just not down that far very often. Recently, I had a drs appointment not too far away so I looked to see how close it was. It was early in the day so traffic wasn't a factor. It was only 10 mnutes away. Today would finally be the day! I pulled up and got a parking spot right out front. I walked in without a cart figuring I would only get a few things which was a blessing and curse. I would have bought more with the cart but what I grabbed was cumbersome to carry. They had a tv screen when you walked in advertising their sales. The old roommate had mentioned sales and coupons so I knew to look. They have a little bit of everything, close outs from Claire's, makeup and skin products, clothing, shoes, tons of food, condiments, beverages, eggs and milk (for super cheap), dishes, cleaning products, kids stuff such as toys and clothes, electronics, pets stuff, greeting cards, furniture, you name it they likely have it. Some stuff is still a bit pricey but other items are ridiculously great deals. I wandered all the aisles and got a lot of things I needed. The lines to check out were bit long but moved relatively quickly. They have a Tuesday senior discount which may explain why it was so crowded. The staff was helpful. I will definitely be back even if I have to plan a visit. How about opening a North County location?

Recently I got a king size quilt comforter but it is still in the original packaging three months later. If you are not part of their coupon club you shouldn't buy anything here unless you are. The downside is you will get text messages every week from them. Although, I kind of look forward to them since I have no friends.

They've got everything balloons, gift bags, wrapping paper, decorations, candles, paper plates, cups, utensils all in one place and super cheap. You can literally put together a whole birthday setup for like 25-30 bucks and it still looks good, which is kinda crazy compared to what you'd spend anywhere else. I come in thinking I'm just grabbing cleaning supplies or dog stuff because yeah they have all that to , and somehow I always end up checking out the party section because it's just too good. If you've got kids or you're hosting anything at all, this place saves you big time without sacrificing the vibe. Customer service is as good as it can get, but there's always a line so come expecting that and then your trip will be five stars for sure. #PartyOnABudget #DollarStoreFinds #PartySuppliesWin #BalloonDeals #CelebrateForLess
