If I could give this place and most of their locations a ZERO, I would. My doctor sent a referral to SimonMed for my ultrasound over 14 weeks pregnant, which was received and I was scheduled. Once I arrive, the ultrasound tech was not even aware what type of ultrasound I was having, and she denied me an ultrasound because according to her they don't perform ultrasounds under 18 weeks of pregnancy. Yet they are the ones who scheduled me, they confirmed they received my doctors order for an ultrasound over 14 weeks pregnant. I was turned away with nothing. They need to work on better communication and their scheduling so people won't be driving an hour away from home and still wasting more time waiting at the office to be seen, only to be turned away. read more

I had to come here 2 times for MRIs. The facility is not clean or well maintained. The scheduling means nothing to them. I was on time for both appointments. The first time they sent me away after waiting 30 minutes and asked me to come back after an hour. The 2nd appointment, they made me wait over an hour. I asked her why the constant delays and the receptionist simply said it wasn't her fault and I was free to reschedule. I figured it would be the same if I rescheduled so I waited it out. read more

Apparently they do not go by the business hours listed, complete waste of time. Also, don't count on a friendly greeting or good customer service more likely to feel as if you're imposing on them. I had a great experience at SimonMed this morning! Super friendly staff. I waited maybe 10 min before I was brought to the back. I booked through an online broker the day before and while we had a slight snag in paperwork it was resolved in minutes! Great customer Services. I am claustrophobic and had to get an open MRI. The MRI Tech was super kind and didn't rush me. I was able to get comfortable before he started. So MUCH better than the closed tunnel!! A little longer, but worth the not-so-closed feeling IMO. Plus, they had the Radio playing music and a nice light breeze from a fan blowing on me. I was able to relax and and let the annoying clicking and popping of the MRI do its thing. The digital film was super clear! Thank you SimonMed. I will most certainly be coming here for any future imaging needs! read more

I call into their call center and they say no appointments for X Rays on a pre recorded message. I go to the Riverside location and they ask you for an appointment and get frustrated I don't have one. They put me last and I had to wait a while. I get given a request for a follow up X-Ray on the 20th from my doctor. I call in again this time to set an appointment and I speak with a rep who tells me that yeah the rest of their locations are walk in only for xrays but riverside requires appointments. Ok well I would like to schedule and appointment. Now keep in mind my doctor set this up 3 weeks ago and I've been there before. The dude I was speaking on the phone with told me he doesn't have anything for me in the system and he proceeded to tell me give it a few hours for my stuff to end up in their systems. I told him that it happened 3 weeks ago, I hope it would be in their system now. He says 'likewise'. What in the world is likewise? I asked him that, I had him on speakerphone with my Mom and my Mom even got pissed off, what is this 'likewise' stuff. I asked him 3 different times what's with 'likewise' he asks me if I don't know what 'likewise' means. What a joke. I was confused why it's not in their system 3 weeks later. And I get a 'likewise' and some unprofessional rep trying to break down what 'likewise' means. Nope, I called my doctor and requested a different imaging place. Their automated system screwed me up the first time telling me its walk in only. Then I call this time and instead of getting customer service to help me find out why in 3 weeks they don't have my information I get a 'likewise'. I don't know how your system works, I don't know what you need or what's missing, help me figure out what you don't have so I can get it. For all I know the request from my doctor is sitting on your fax machine, or in someone's email. But I let you know that 3 weeks ago the request was made and I get a 'likewise'. read more

We were referred here by our chiropractor for an MRI. Feels like this place is not as organized as they are supposed to be. Our chiropractor faxed over information 2 times, prior to us arriving, when we arrived they said they still have not received the info from our doctor. I called our doctor and they had to faxed once again. The good thing about this place is the open MRI style versus the typical closed type, that is usually the case around the area. Another good thing, the techs that actually takes the patients in seems friendlier than the front desk/receptionist person. read more

My cancer doctor sent my imaging orders over 3 weeks ago to the San Bernardino office of Simon Med so I went to check in and make appointments because of no calls to me . I was told Riverside would do all my imaging except bone scan which they would call me late and make an appointment in San Bernardino, which they never did call. I finally called and was put on hold while they checked my bone scan appointment, after 15 minutes I was disconnected so I drove out to the Riverside location to verify my other MRI tests having waited 3 weeks and was told my appointment was on schedule for this coming Monday and I was given all paperwork to fill out for that appointment. I received 3 phone calls the day before my appointment and verified I would be there and was told to be 15 early. On my appointment day I arrived 15 minutes early sat and waited and was call to the front desk only to be told "we don't do the kind of MRI testing" that my cancer doctor ordered. I have had 7 contacts with this incompetent imaging center always a different answer and to top it off told of broken equipment. Dirty facility and only one employee working the front desk office area. Thank you Simon Imaging, you have delayed my imaging tests to allow my doctor to see if my cancer has spread further with time being very critical. Metastasizing cancer waits for no one with time being very critical. Simon Medical, you possibly shortened over a month of my life by your incompetence which now may of delayed further treatment if MRI's show further radiation treatments are needed. read more

Called to make an appointment and was put on hold by an automatic machine that claimed it was a 3 minute wait. Over fifteen minutes later a female picked up. With all my paper work in hand I tried to make an appointment. She refused to do it because she could not find my electronic order. I shared with her that I had the print out from the doctor, as well as the print out from the insurance company authorizing it and would be glad to bring both with me. Nope. This place was picked by my doctor, not me. The attitude was don't call us, we'll call you. Clearly, they do not want to take care of people. Plain and simple the receptionist is a bitch! It was obvious she was on a personal call when I and another person walked in. We stood there for a minute, then she looks over and tells us we can sit down and that she will get to us when she's done. I continued standing there because what she didn't know was that I already got my MRI done that morning and was simply just gonna verify if she had my drs correct info to send my scans to. She again looked over and told us we could sit down and she would get to us when she's done. I quickly explained to her I was already there and just had a question and she rudely said ok well you can sit down and I will get to you when you're done. I was there today and witnessed one of the female workers at this place literally kick a homeless man that was sleeping on their property. She kicked Because he wouldn't respond to her. The homeless man appeared to be in a lot of pain, he had a wheelchair next to him and she didn't have to kick in just to wake him up or get a response. The best way to address a homeless person, another "human being" on their private property is to first be compassionate and offer a nice warm cup of coffee. This will help get their attention. Then kindly advise the homeless person he may not be on private property and must move off the premises. That's the correct way to address another human being especially a homeless person. This female worker from this place was extremely rude, nasty, abusive and a real bitch. Her behavior was uncalled for and a reflection of the business here she is representing. They should have zero stars. I trust God will teach her a valuable lesson Teach her some humility. read more

Due to being claustrophobic I requested an open MRI unit. I was very pleased with the one that SimonMed had; even though I was still a bit anxious. The technician exhibited great patience and concerned for my well being. I was in a lot of pain so to endure 45 minutes in the MRI scanners was quite challenging. I really can't be believe I pulled it off! Don't think I could have done it without the professionalism displayed. A genuine caring technician at their facility made my day! 8 hours after having the MRI I'm still nervous but I feel a sense of accomplishment for a fete that started out to be the impossible! Customer Service is a foreign concept to every single person who works here. I was referred to this center by my chiropractor for xrays. The receptionist is like a broken record and if you say or ask anything she doesn't know she shuts down and stops talking. If you have Kaiser, you're not covered here and will pay out of pocket. However, they can not give you an estimate/ ball park price range until you fill out the forms, have the receptionist hold onto to your ID the entire time (opposed to making a copy) and she inputs the information into the system. The technician who does the xray barely speaks and when she does you can't hear her and she just leaves you alone instead of saying I need to grab this I'll be right back etc. The technician told me that my doctor will be faxed a copy of their findings. However, my doctor told me they would give me a cd. When I mentioned this they acted like it was the end of the world and they don't do this. Less than 3 minutes later I was handed the cd. read more

Came in for some images requested by a state examiner, And was very nervous. The staff made the experience a lot better, and it made me feel calm. They were very professional, quick and courteous. I missed the MRI technician's name, but the x-ray technician was Kim. They were both very professional, very accommodating and helpful. I highly recommend this place for any imaging. Especially for people who have never had MRIs or x-rays before. They make it a very comfortable process. read more

I told the guy mri "I am DEAF" he told me to put belong in lockers with gesture signs then I was told lay down against chest then its hurt my ribs and shake my body. It wasn't enough soft pillow. after that he told me "Stop move it and bye bye, get out!" (throw gesture) to my face closer. I was shock myself. its make me angry myself to see him bad attitude to me. He told the lady front desk and she told apologizing to me about that. I told her with my interpreter translator sign language about that guy is unprofessional. Last week I went in to have a MRI done for my workers comp. Me being a heavy set guy always embarrassed to go and have any procedures done because of my weight issues. I was assured that things would be ok. After being called in and told to put my belongings in lockers I was told to lay down and when the started to put me in machine the upper part of machine was compressing against my chest and I could breathe. I told him and he took me out and told me in a rude voice that's the way it is. Again he put me in and again I told him I couldn't breathe and my chest was hurting. He told me just hold your breath for a few minutes stop complaining. I said no I can't. He said get off and get your stuff and leave. He told the lady up front and they told me to call my doctor and work it out with them with apologizing to me and making me feel bad. My chest was hurting for a few after I left. This guy I don't remember his name was the worst. He didn't worry about my feelings or that he was hurting me. read more

Great Service! I waited no longer than 5 minutes. Moises the technician was very friendly, gentle, and caring. I have a lot of pain on my arm and it was difficult for me to get the MRI on my arm without any pain. Moises made sure that I was comfortable, he propped my arm with several pillows and also made sure the rest of my body was comfortable. I give them 5 stars for great, understanding customer service. I was unable to have my MRI performed at their Redlands facility due to my claustrophobia and the extremely loud machine. However, they were very understanding and I was able to get an appointment, the very same day, at the Riverside facility which has an open MRI. I was able to do the MRI there. The open MRI machine was much more comfortable, the technician stayed in the room with me, and they had the radio playing which helped me to endure the noise. However, no fault of theirs, it still was a nerve shattering experience. read more

Good luck getting an appointment. There person who answers their calls sounds like he is stoned. They won't do anything for you with out some fax which the doctor has sent twice. Then they say it can take an hour to get a fax, call hour and half later sorry it can take a long time for the fax to get processed. Why say it takes a hour the first time. My visit was okay, I had a morning appointment and I'm pretty sure I was the first one so I didn't have to wait. I had an MRI done, I've never had one done before so I didn't know what to expect. They took me into a room and asked me if my bra had metal hooks..it did so they told me I had to take it off, and I had to remove my sweater that had a zipper. someone should have told me this prior to my appointment. The front staff was nice in person but were horrible on the phone. They answer the phone on speaker, super unprofessional, screams lazy to me. I work in a very high flow dental office with heavy phone lines, it's not that difficult. The tech who did the MRI was nice, informative and was continuously checking in to maker sure I was okay. read more
