The lady who conducted my MRI was so friendly and gave me detailed instructions. She told me exactly what was going to happen and made sure I was comfortable. Once my MRI was over they gave me a CD within minutes. My MRI report was posted online on the same day. It was excellent service. I would definitely refer this place. read more

Don't expect to be seen at your appointment time! Doors don't open you need to ring a bell and then they let you in. This was very unusual and honestly useless but okay... Arrived about 5 minutes before my 4:30pm appointment. Checked in and was told to be seated. There was probably about 4 people waiting. At 5pm I got up to follow up and receptionist mentioned there was someone in the machine but based on past reviews this is a common pattern. I wasn't brought back until 5:50pm!! Then I ask to use the restroom, and there is no toilet paper. I tell the person at the counter, who has a lackadaisical attitude, and she acts like she couldn't care less. Let's not forget to mention that when I pulled up to this facility, it is located in a desolate shopping center that is all boarded up. I would also like to add that I had an appointment scheduled on my day off originally, but they cancelled on me. So I ended up having to take time off work to attend the appointment today, and then I'm not even seen. This is the worst experience I have ever had. I have called and messaged HOPE the so called office manager several times and have gotten no response. ( I didn't really expect to) the people that work in the office are no better . I didn't even step foot in this place and I can tell it's ripe with "training issues" as Reeham has stated. I received a referral to SimonMed for dual shoulder MRI's with contrast. I actually had a referral somewhere else, but it was out a month and a half. My insurance called other providers before redirecting the referral, to make sure that they; 1. Provide the services needed and 2. Had availability sooner than what I had scheduled. Great. They had availability "as soon as today or tomorrow if (they) had the orders". Wait the 2 days for it to be redirected. I call (June 30th) and speak to someone who books me an appointment by LOOKING UP MY AUTHORIZATION. I am scheduled for July 11th at 10:15am. I then receive a text message on July 2nd saying that they hadn't received the order and would need to reschedule unless I got it to them. So, I call my insurance the fax it over and it is confirmed as received. I get another text message confirming my appointment and providing me with a link to fill out forms. Fast forward to July 9th. I receive another text message that says they cancelled my appointment because they don't have the order. I spend an hour and 45 minutes with my insurance on the phone as well as SimonMed on the line with my insurance. Appointment is moved to July 16th. They have the order at least... So I called SimonMed Imaging and they tell me that there's an issue with the order and that I need an MRI with contrast and without. Because they won't be able to compare. Ok... kinda makes sense. THEN...I get a text message this morning saying that they don't have my order for my appointment and that they will need to reschedule. So, I do what? I call again. I file a grievance with SimonMed Imaging. 45 minutes later. I learn that we are at an impasse. BUT I get a text with a link for forms for the appointment. Just got of the phone with Reeham (spelling?), who called me, and said that they don't do the service I need and that I will have to have my referral sent elsewhere. I ask how this happened. I was told it was a training issue. I seriously questioned that considering that between my insurance and myself, I spoke to 5 different people. This is a foundational issue. How would I even be able to trust any of their radiologists to even read the images? Sounds like a company that expanded too quickly, has a high rate of turnover and an abysmal management. Do yourself and spare yourself the headache and anger, go somewhere else. This is a laughable attempt at being a medical provider. read more

The receptionist lets you stand there for minutes on end without even acknowledging you. Something is always breaking down. I would have waited even longer if the person just before me in line hadn't left due to the long wait. Someone after me in line, understandably, left as well. I didn't have anywhere else to go really.. waiting room was packed... finally my turn, the man and the woman were great. Very welcoming and compassionate about my arm hurting. Talked me thru the mri. I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with this clinic. I had a doctor's appointment scheduled and drove 40 miles each way to get there, only to be turned away at the front desk. Why? Because I didn't have the physical copy of my insurance card -- even though I had a clear photo of it on my phone and had already confirmed with their customer service team beforehand that a digital version would be acceptable. To make things worse, I'm a returning patient -- not someone new to the system. There was no attempt to look me up, no effort to verify my existing records, and absolutely no flexibility shown. It felt like the front desk staff were more interested in finding reasons to turn people away than actually helping patients who made the effort to show up on time and be prepared. The whole situation was handled with a complete lack of professionalism or empathy. I wasted my time, gas, and energy for nothing -- and all because of an inconsistent policy that their own team can't seem to agree on. If this is how they treat returning patients, I can't imagine how they handle anything more complicated. Hugely disappointing and unacceptable. read more

Horrible place! Extremely rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful front desk staff. Especially Liz. I wouldn't hire her to work at a fast-food resturant or as a gas station attendant. Made ridiculous excuses about why they had to cancel my appointment (even though they sent me two text messages reminding me of today's appointment). Completely incompetent in processing my order for services. I asked to speak to a manager, but was told the manager wasn't in today. I guess that explains a lot. Urgent care sent me to this facility. I contacted my doctor's office immediately upon leaving and they told me they don't send their patients there because of all the problems that they've had and patients complaining about them also. (Look up this place on Yelp for reviews that are similar or worse than my experience.) Even during business hours, if you call, you can't get through to the front desk people working at that location (even using the local number on their business card and listed online). It goes to a call center to somewhere overseas where they have a hard time speaking English and communicating. I was given wrong information (from the call center as well as front desk staff at the facility itself). I asked to speak to a manager of the person at the call center and was put on hold then sent to a survey instead of a manager. Building is located in a very sketchy area and they have the doors locked and have to buzz people in one at a time because of the undesirables hanging around outside. Not safe for elderly or women going alone. Save yourself the headaches and find any other facility that is in network for your insurance. I am in the process of submitting a complaint online to Medicare as well as my insurance company and state agencies. Good thing my new phone had excellent capabilities for recording all of the interactions! Audio and video is hard to dispute. And it gets rid of the he said she said factor. read more

My condolences if you are supposed to have any kind of imaging done at this place. Scheduling is difficult because the background noise is so loud that you cannot understand what the scheduler is saying. It's ok, because this place is so messed up that you will not get your imaging done on your first visit. The doctor office faxed the order, however, no one at the facility seems to know where the fax machine is. I was told upon checking in that I had to bring the order with me. I never have the order, they are always sent to the facility. End of first visit-no imaging done. Once I had the doctor office email the order to me, I scheduled again. I was able to have the imaging done. End of second visit, imaging done. I will be contacting insurance and requesting to NEVER go to this facility again. read more

This is the exact opposite of that. Average wait time? Two and a half to three grueling hours with people coughing all around you. Veterans beware: The V.A. will schedule you for x-rays, and when you get their the staff will inform you, and I quote, "That's just an appointment to wait." The waiting room is small, dirty, and crowded, and the trash bin is overflowing. Patients are unattended to, and none of the staff check in with you or give you updates regarding your wait time. If I could give this place zero I would but the reason I'm giving it two it's because the staff who sent me into imagining and the imagining specialists were so kind a apologetic for the lady in the front. The female who greeted the patients and sat behind the desk was so rude to the point she ignored a patient in the waiting room in front of me. The lady was so rude and would walk away after someone would ask her a question. She seemed bothered by me when I told her I never received a link to fill out my paper work online. On top of that I arrived 7:09 at the door it took her 3 min to open up the door because she was taking her time to allow me in by the press of a button. My appointment was at 7:00 she told me I missed my first screening but I don't understand that concept because she told me I needed to fill out paper work regardless. I'm so lost because many medical facilities give a 15 min grace period or 10. Whatever the case is she clearly doesn't understand hospitality and kindness especially at 7:00am. I'd say either switch her shift or send her back to training because I'm 100% sure that's not how you deal with patients who need medical screenings. Most unprofessional staff. I had an appointments for a MRI. They called me the day before and said the insurance was not complete. This happened with two more appointments. Each time, day before scheduled appointment, the insurance was not complete. Each time it was because of a different problem. After the second time of dealing with my insurance company, I told them to call and get what they needed. They did, but were not happy about having to do their job. Today I went in for a hip X-ray and the and they told me the same thing. I stated I was not leaving until the X-rays were taken. Again, unwilling took care of what they needed. Each appointment was set up by their company. Making appointments without all the paperwork in hand? It took me five weeks to get my MRI. I'm not sure how they can stay in business with the lack of knowledge the staff possess. Maybe a director is needed to at this office. read more

I just had an MRI of my lower back and Jessica was the technologist who got me prepared and did the treatment. The place is well run and quick to get the reports back to the doctor and this particular technologist was very patient, kind, and let me know step by step what to expect and told me afterwards how long it would take for my doctor to get the report. Jessica made my treatment actually enjoyable and quick. I would highly recommend this place for MRIs. read more

This office is a joke!! My appointment was confirmed by text and phone call, by an employee of Simonmed. My appointment was for 1pm, I arrived at 12:45pm. When I checked in I was told, my appointment wasn't until 2:30pm. And that they we're running behind schedule. I showed the lady my text and let her hear the voicemail, that was sent by Simonmed, confirming my 1pm appointment. She told me I had no appointment at 1pm and if didn't have time to wait until 2:30pm that I could reschedule. So I had no choice but to wait until 2:30pm.
