This review is about the lady at the check in. What a way to make someone already under stress feel really unwelcomed. I arrived at 5:43 PM for my 5:40 appointment, when I scheduled I informed them I got off work at 5 I was told that was acceptable when I scheduled it. The receptionist didn't check me in until 5:48, then told me I was late and couldn't be seen. She spoke loudly and very rudely in front of the lobby, which was completely unnecessary. I understand it was the end of the day, but there was no need for that attitude. I was also told I should have arrived at 5:20, even though no one ever communicated that, and I was specifically told that arriving at 5:40 was fine. The miscommunication and the way I was spoken to were unprofessional and disappointing. As someone who works in the front desk i understand a lot of things happen to patients in their way to theirs appointments and always try my best to help them in a calm and friendly way. This was not my experience they need to train their staff to be more respectful and human. Kindness goes a long way. read more

They have pretty of parking spaces. The office is clean and well maintained. They staff is very friendly and polite. They offer various services making appointments is easy. Breast imaging service is excellent they have new technology that is extra since insurance don't cover them. The technician is very knowledgeable and helpful. read more

Second mammogram at this location. While it's a bit of a drive, the experience was completely consistent. I was able to complete all paperwork online ahead of time and was called back to my appointment on time. The service provider, Carlea, was experienced, professional, and very efficient. had a horrible experience I had an appt today 7/24 . I got time off work to rush there at 9 pm from Pomona to riverside not one other patient was there .i was greeted by a very not so happy receptionist!! I then got called in from a person that would be doing my transvaginal and trans abdominal ultra sound for chronic pain which effects me highly ! She took me to the back and put the ultra sound to my stomach giving no real effort but quickly said she could not do my ultrasound because my bladder was not full ! I have had this done before and has less water in my stomach and my ultrasound went fine she quickly said I had to reschedule she then said if it was earlier, she would let me sit there for 20 minutes to wait. For my bladder to fill She said there was other patients that she had no choice but to reschedule I was so upset yes she walked me up to the receptionist and I did walk out I was so upset I told them I was good !! I waited 20 mins not one person walked in that office .. when I went back up to the receptionist I explained to her that my bladder should be full by now, and that I cannot reschedule this appointment and that she barely gave any chance to see if I actually had anything that can go through for the ultrasound, she gave no chance at all to me. She didn't even try to put the wand to my stomach and push or anything. She then quickly went and got Jen. Her name was Jen and Jen came back out and said oh how can I help you with a smirk and I told her it's been 20 minutes you said if there was no patients and you have the time I can come back in and you can do my ultrasound and she said oh well no you walked out so I canceled your appointment so she refused service to me and then I said I asked her for corporate number or her manager and her name and she quickly wrote something down, but didn't put her name. She said her name was Jen. That's all she told me.! I will be at a there to file a complaint tomorrow and whoever I gotta go to because it's not right. She literally did not give me a chance to even get this done and she should not be able to have power like that it's wrong.this is the 2 nd time I been there and first time was an ok experience I don't understand how these people are able to give this kind of treatment to patients and get away with it ! read more

I brought my wife to her appointment and while I was waiting, I could just hear the most caring Customer Service. I've heard in awhile and an older ladie being wheeled out, telling everyone what a kind workers they are. Her words. "The best I've ever had", but also overhearing all the other girls, Customer Service. It was just too much for me. The process immediately started off rough at check in. I have PPO so I always expect to have a payment but I never pay at check in, as I am always billed. Upon checkin I was hit with a $600 patient portion of my bill. Then I had to get up 4x because they kept finding forms that were not completed on my file. Wait was very good, probably 5 minutes after I signed all the forms. Initial experience with technician started our rough, as we were speaking pass each other. I wasn't understanding her protocol and she wasn't understanding my confusion and all the my questions. Once we were on the same page, she was pleasant and mammogram was as quick. I had to wait for ultrasound in a small area and as I was sitting there the office staff in the back office were being very unprofessional. Complaining about how some new management or something to that extent was telling her she wasn't doing time cards are right and the lady proceeded to complain (at a very high level/boarder line yell) about how she has always done it this way and when the state comes in they don't have a problem with her process. Honestly it was uncomfortable and I will not be going back to this location for my next mammogram even though this location is closer then the others I visited. Overall, very disappointed read more

This was my first mammogram and the worst experience I've had at a medical facility. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The front office staff were kind, but from the moment I walked into the hall the experience was terrible. I'm not sure if I just got the least friendly tech possible, but she made my experience horrible. I use an electric wheelchair and was not skilled enough to maneuver through the small doorframes. I have limited mobility so I got out of the chair while my husband pushed it through. The tech right away snapped saying he could not come back there. I let her know I just needed help with my chair and asked how far we had to go. She said all the way down the hall. So, I asked if he could at least help me with the chair to get there. She was super snippy but agreed saying he would have to come right back. We got to the door and we were asking about the accommodations in the room (I had filled out everything notating that I use a wheelchair and need accommodations far in advance). The tech quickly snapped saying she wouldn't be able to use my wheelchair anyways. I looked inside the room and saw there was only one chair with arms that I was not sure I could fit into. I told my husband maybe we should bring in my chair because the one in here has arms. The tech snapped again and said she had another chair she could bring in if I needed it. I felt like I was really inconveniencing her every time I asked a question or tried to communicate a need. She was the meanest medical professional I've ever worked with. I'm honestly not sure how else to describe her. She kept snapping/ yelling at me throughout the process. My legs were getting weak and when I tried telling her she pointed at the chair with arms and told me I could sit there for a second. I didn't dare ask for a different chair at that time and to be honest I'm not sure I could have waited for one to arrive. So I wedged myself in the chair as much as I could and sat uncomfortably while she waited seemingly annoyed. When I stood back up she continued to snap at me anytime I wasn't moved just right or if my legs would shake because I was getting wobbly from standing more than I have in decades. When I took the short break in the chair, I told her I had put that I needed wheelchair accommodations, was this just not something they could accommodate. She snapped that they would have had to put that on the scheduling and given me extra time. On my way out, I asked the nicer lady at the front desk that if I had to come back for any reason how I could avoid this happening in the future. She said the scheduler would have needed to put it in the system. I said I had completed everything online saying the accommodations that I needed and she double checked agreeing but said the scheduler had missed putting it down. My entire time there not one person apologized for not providing my accommodations or making me feel uncomfortable or the damage I may have done to my legs by trying to balance for so long on my weak legs. Whenever I need my next scan I will definitely not be going here. read more

I just had my annual Mammogram 3 weeks ago and it was another pleasant experience. This was the third time I had my imaging done at Breastlink Riverside and I was impressed again by the staff and the facility. From the ladies at the front to my technologist, Rasheeka, everyone is professional and kind and the facility is clean and well kept. I had an evening appointment and although the waiting room was still quite busy, I was in and out within 30 minutes. Thank you for the top-notch service. See you next year! read more

I had an appointment today I'm very upset this was a STAT referral three hours lost in pay 40 minute drive to get to my appointment in which they scheduled me incorrectly I filled out the online registration for check-in which was never looked at or reviewed then told I scheduled my appointment incorrectly when I had to correct the front desk clerk on the reason why I was there to be seen .... and shock with the questions that were being asked of me in front of a lobby full of people personal information and HIPAA violation broken not just once... information that was being asked was already answered in my online registration check in there was no reason for personal/ health information asked out loud. Even though there's no visitors allowed sometimes they may let you , depends on your technician, I however got Stacy , I know they are not authorized to provide diagnoses or interpretations of the images to patients. BUT They may be able to point out specific structures they are taking picture of . She's sucked honestly and just knowing a first time mom is trying to see her baby at 36 weeks , she could have told me that they are allowed to burn the CD of the ultrasound! Because the pictures she printed were sooo blurry And I just think she's just trying to do her job fast ,just wish I had a different lady I guess . I had my mammogram today and this place was quick and efficient. I also liked the tech that did my mammogram. I wish I could remember her name, she's Latina. The wait was maybe 10 mins and I arrived earlier than I was supposed to. Front desk staff was courteous as well. I'd definitely recommend this place to others. read more

Just wanted to give a big thank you to the front staff. Every single lady that helped my mom was very nice, and understanding of our late arrival. As you can imagine, my mom was nervous and kind of hesitant. One person I want to especially thank is the lady with the tattoos, maybe the lead or manager as she seemed to keep the flow of things very under control as I was able to tell. AVIOD THIS PLACE AT ALL COST !!! I attempted to make an appointment over the phone. They told me they couldn't make an appointment without having a CD of previous scan, so I go all the way back to the hospital to get a CD medical record & made the appointment for my ultrasound come the day of my appointment. I have everything that I need. They don't even ask for the city of previous scans I waited for 40 minutes once called into the room they informed me that they cannot perform the scan due to a minor laceration, where they are going to be taking the scans. No point during making the appointment did they ever ask if I have any signs of injury in the area where they will be performing the scans . They are unapologetic they don't care to make it right they just brush you off and have you wait in the back of the line to get a refund . Worst service I've ever received at a medical care facility. I will not be returning I would rather pay hundreds of out-of-pocket and go to a hospital to get these scans performed . never again returning to this place. Scheduled an appointment at this facility after I was referred by my doctor. I was scheduled two weeks out and on the day of, three hours into my required fast and after taking a day off of work, I was called that my authorization was not approved by the clinic. They asked me to call me doctor to have them change the order STAT in order to be seen or they'd cancel my order. I don't think they understand how medical offices work, things don't get done STAT just because we call. Needless to say, my ultrasound has to be rescheduled based on them not looking at my authorization until the morning of my appointment. Huge disappointment and a waste of time. Made my mom pay $400+ upfront without checking that her insurance covered the service (except for copayment of $40). They take advantage of people just wanting to be seen usually fue to sensitive situations and charge UPFRONT instead of billing later once they're squared away with the insurance. Never heard of that before. Called blueshield and they confirmed this was WRONG. Its been 6 months and still waiting on the refund, that money was going to be used to pay for her surgery. Shame on this place, we know for a fact they do this to alot of people because we witnessed it there. Avoid if possible OR dont let them swindle you like they did to us. I would give this place 0 stars if possible. They billed my insurance as an out-of-network provider, which means I am on the hook for the $500+ cost. Which I am not paying as it should've been in-network as the insurance and their websites indicates. After multiple call-backs with both them and my insurance company, my insurance is finally looking on their end on what the mishap is. However, it is basically Breastlink's problem as they are not updating their tax ID's used with the insurance carriers. If this doesn't get resolved, I'll have to get an attorney. I would recommend people go elsewhere unless you want to deal with coverage hassles due to poor business practices. I saw a review of someone getting charged in advance, which isn't a good process if the person has insurance. I should've heeded the warning and not come here. It felt like I was at a cattle call. The woman who did the screening was not friendly and rude. She told me there were no long gowns left and did my dress top come down. I said no. So she proceeds to try and find a long gown. She comes back and tells me sorry all I have are half gowns. And then hands me one and goes over to her computer station. I'm already hating having to do a mammogram and she's not making it any better. So I take another gown to tie around my waist and she actually gets upset with me and lets out a scoff. I don't care and am about to start undressing but realize she's still there. So I ask her if she's going to leave. She actually got offended and stormed out. She tells me to leave door open when I'm done. She comes in and proceeds to just treat me like a robot. I've never had such a heartless and bad experience having a mammogram. When it was over she said you're done and stormed out again never to return with any sort of instructions. I just got dressed and walked out. I doubt I'll be using them again next year. read more

I was scheduled to have it done on Saturday, 02/11/23 at 3:00 p.m. When I promptly arrived at 3:00 p.m. I was advised it had been rescheduled to 10:30 a.m. NO CALL, NO NOTHING!! I came here for a mammogram and I had a pleasant experience. I completed the forms on the app and uploaded everything so check in was a breeze. The receptionist was friendly and the radiologist was gentle and kind. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. Plenty of parking and waiting area was large enough to social distance. If I could give it zero stars I would!!! This place is horrible! The staff at the front are disrespectful, rude, and they lost all empathy for customers. My doctor requested an ultrasound of the chest and I was referred here not by choice. I call make my appointment and everything started. When I asked for the address the scheduling rep. told me to google the business name and wouldn't give me the address. Ok then I show up and it gets worse. I'm new to all this and first time patient and immediately I get greeted with attitude, handed paperwork with no directions and more attitude. I come back and ask questions about the forms and another staff member makes me feel like an idiot as if I should know everything about ultrasounds. These woman treat you like absolute trash and have the nerve to stare you down with attitude. My experience was an absolute nightmare! Not once did anyone smile throughout my entire visit. Oh did I mention I arrived 30 min prior to my appointment time and I wasn't seen until an hour after my appointment. Save yourself from the negative energy and mean staff! UPDATE: Half a year later, I get repeated calls from a debt collector about this place. Turns out they wanted to charge me an extra $100 on top of the $300 they charged my insurance and the copay they got from me. That's whatever. America. What really bothers me: despite the fact they have my phone number, they never bothered calling me before sending me to collections and potentially hurting my credit. The bill never came in the mail because they botched my address (badly!), even though they have a picture of my driver's license on file. Lazy and inconsiderate.
