The xray tech was HIGHLY unprofessional. He assaulted my 3 year old daughter. My 1 year old was in need of a chest xray so he took us back to a room. He said my 3 year old could not be in there and would have to sit outside the door with it closed. I said okay and explained to her she had to sit down and not leave. At this point she was already not feeling well and irritable so she wouldnt sit down. The tech seemed to then become enraged and started yelling at her, picked her up, placed her in the chair and told her she better do what she's told! She became startled and looked terrified. At this point I was holding my baby and froze because I was in utter shock at what was happening. He then proceeded to aggressively grab both sides of her face with his hand and directed her head towards him everytime she turned away from him. He then yelled she better sit down in that chair and not move or she's going to be in trouble and she better look at him when he's talking to her. I got down in front of her to intervene and talked to her calmly about sitting in her chair and immediately called her father on video chat. I gave her the phone and went to get the xray completed. When we began he said sometimes kids listen when they are looking you directly in the eyes. I don't handle my child in that manner, neither does her father and for a grown man who's a stranger to do this to a 3 year old girl is completely unacceptable!!! I didn't say anything further about it because I was still in shock and uncomfortable at that point. Once we finished my 3 year old looked horrified and scared and grabbed onto me and made sure to stay on the opposite side of him. He walked us out and said good luck. At that point I had two sick kids with me and didn't want to cause a scene. I took them to the car, called their father and my mother and waited for him to leave the front desk area so I could speak with a manager. I called the number first and spoke to a rep who transferred me to compliance after saying he was completely out of line! I then left a message. I then went back inside and spoke to the branch manager and broke down crying so she took me to a back room with my children and took down my information. She said she was going to write up a report and contact his manager and call me back shortly. I haven't received a phone call, at this point it's now 750pm so they're closed. But she was very nice and helpful, as was the operator I spoke to. I am disgusted that he would treat someone elses child that way. This couldn't have been the first time he's acted this way because he was extremely comfortable doing so. He needs to be fired! read more

Came in for an X-ray. The technician bawled me out for not coming in sooner then I'm forced to call twice to get results to no avail. After three days I still don't know if I have a broken wrist! My doctor wanted results ASAP but the order wasn't given the proper urgency. The receptionist apologized but that doesn't give me any results. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

I was very hesitant about scheduling an appointment at this location after all the bad reviews. But I have nothing but glowing things to say about my experience. Calling to make the appointment was extremely easy and the girl putting me on the schedule was so nice. Great customer service and got me in within a few days. I was greeted by a front office staff that was friendly and warm. My ultrasound technician was nothing but respectful and kind. I was taken back to my appointment on time. I was treated so well throughout the entire process. Have no bad things to say at all! read more

Have been coming to this location for years, and recently the last few visits I have dealt with Gina, the front desk receptionist. I say dealt with because she is the worst person I have ever encountered in this field. She is unprofessional, lazy, and extremely rude. She does not greet you and acts like you are wasting her time by walking in the door. I am changing locations to a facility that is out of the way to avoid having to deal with her nasty behavior. I am extremely disappointed with this as the remainder of the facility (staff, services, equipment) is exceptional beyond Gina. I would not recommend this location due to the poor service and quality the front desk lady presents. It is too bad such a horrible personality can be in a customer faced role. read more

I've been to this location before with my son, and it has always been a quick, professional experience. However, after today, I will never be using this SimonMed location again. I took my 4 year old in for chest x-rays due to possible pneumonia. Since I'm pregnant, they needed me too leave the room to do the x-rays. My son became hysterical, and the female tech tried her best to calm him. While standing on the other side of the door, I heard the male x-ray tech getting impatient with my son. He called him a crybaby and a brat. As soon as the x-ray was finished I came into the room. The male tech was still holding tightly onto my son's wrists, and I had to tell him multiple times to let him go and get away from him. I don't know if he was just having a crappy day or what, but it was extremely unprofessional and totally uncalled for. My son has ALWAYS had a fear of male doctors/nurses and this tech did nothing but confirm those fears for him. read more

I had an MRI done there. We took them a disk with a previous MRI for comparison. After a week and a half of many calls to them from our Dr and his staff they finally sent a comparison. But it wasn't the two MRI's we asked for. They compared there MRI to an MRA! These are two very different kinds of tests and there is no reason for anyone to compare them! After another week of calls we finally got the comparison we asked for them to do. Very poor service. read more

I usually don't write reviews. But the experience I had on 12/17/2019, I had to voice something. Especially since this is the second year I have had a bad experience at this location. I made an appointment three weeks in advance of the 12/17/19 appointment, insurance has not changed for 10 years, so to me there should have been no reason that there would be an issue when I came in. I arrived 15 minutes before my 8:30am appointment as asked. But when I arrived there was a line of 10 people and it was not moving. By the time I finally got to the desk to check in it was 8:40am. Then I was told my insurance was not verified and they gave me more paperwork. I really was not sure what this meant and was not told anything else. But I filled out the paperwork, gave it back to the front desk and thought everything was ok. I had no idea that now they were trying to verify payment and therefore my appointment was on hold. After another hour of waiting I am asked to come up to the front desk and was told that my insurance would not cover this. Again this was a wellness check and it is covered. I have had three years of history here and it is covered. So in order for me to continue I had to give them my credit card. This is so disrespectful of my time, money and mental wellness. One the procedure should have been verified before I came in. If there was an issue I should have been called. Second, when I came in I should have been told that since it was not verified I would have to wait until they did verify it. This would at least give me the choice of either staying or leaving. Then to be told I have to pay was a shock. People have enough anxiety coming in for these types of test as it is, then to be slammed in the face with this payment after being there for an hour in half. Very insensitive! So now you are upset in front of others in the waiting room and the lab person can feel your anger. So your whole experience is gut-wrenching. I called my insurance after I came home and was told it was covered. She also informed me that no one else called in to talk to a customer service except me, just the automation system. So again just about the money and not the care. I will definitely look for another lab. Oh, when I came out the line was still about 10 to 12 people. They have a problem. I gave one star as I had to but they should get nothing. read more

Same problems as others have mentioned on here. They want you to pay in advance for what they ESTIMATE your portion will be (estimate only because it cannot be confirmed until they file a claim and submit to insurance, then it depends on what doctors submit first for who the patient is to pay and who the insurance is to pay). They REFUSE to discuss this or make any changes to "company policy" even though the insurance company tells them it's NOT FAIR to your patient. Then when they finally do submit to insurance and find that they should not have collected any or that amount from you it takes 3 days to 3 weeks to process a refund (based on how you paid up front). Add to that the fact that they won't start the process until you bring it to their attention and ask for the refund. WOW, is that great customer service or what. Bottom line is SimonMed does not care about their patients they only care about their bottom line!!! read more

I had an appointment at 3:30 at this location. I was early to my appointment, I arrived at 3:05 to fill out my paperwork. At 3:20 I was told the MRI was running behind and it would be another 45 minutes before I was seen... I waited well over 45 minutes... in fact at 4:50 right before it was my time to be called back, the lady at the front desk called me up to tell me that they needed to reschedule my appointment because the radiologist was leaving for the day at 5PM. I asked her if it was possible he could please stay because I had been waiting for 2 hours and was up next. She then told me that they get in trouble if they get overtime so he couldn't. I waited for 2 hours when they knew I needed contrast with my MRI, when they knew they were running behind. I have no words for this. I'm just amazed they would have a patient wait this long.. all for nothing. Doctors should have to complete all there SCHEDULED appointments before they are able to leave for the day. I called my insurance company last week and found that my ultrasound would be covered 100%. When I arrived and checked in, after being there several minutes, the young lady told me that my payment would be $124.00. I explained that I did not have a payment due and she said that I could make payments and if there was no charge, I would be reimbursed. I understand that she was just doing what she was told, however, she should have CALLED the number on my insurance card and she would have found out that I was correct. I truly resent wasting time. And, now, I am on hold with Simon Med, (the wait was supposed to be three minutes and I have now been on hold for 19 minutes. The unprofessionalism of this company is not acceptable! I still got the run-around when my call was finally answered, so . . . I got in my car and drove back over to the location and got to speak to Bianca, the office manager.She was wonderful! She rescheduled me and promised that I will NOT get the runaround next time! I still can't give more than two stars because of the unprofessionalism that I experienced in person and on the phone earlier. read more

You don't want to go to this facility unless you want to be treated like crap, accused of lying or just plain like being treated like you are an inconvenience. The receptionist has no personality or customer service skills and seems to like it when a customer is unhappy. I went to an appointment at this location and was treated VERY poorly!!! I called my insurance company to verify my benefits and what my copay was going to be. If any. The receptionist didn't even bother to look up. She just held out her had and said lab orders, ID, Insurance card. No please or thank you or any kind of a greeting. I had a seat to wait to be called to go in, instead the receptionist said "you have a $100 copay". I told her I had just spoken with my insurance company and verified that I have no copay. She rolled her eyes and told me to take a seat, that they would have to contact my ins co. while i'm waiting i call my ins co again and verified a second time that I did not have a copay. 20 minutes later she calls my name again. I go up and she tells me that my copay is $40. I tell her that I just verified again with my ins co. she says "it was verified and it's $40" I said ok, what is the reference # for that call so I can call them again. I am a very unhappy person by this time. I go outside and call my ins co AGAIN. They tell me again that I don't have a copay so I go back in with the ins co rep on the phone. The receptionist tells me "it doesn't matter we are going to have to reschedule you anyway. This is not acceptable, I took time off of work to do this (I had a possible blood clot and needed to get an ultra sound). I told her "No you won't be rescheduling me because I'm never coming her again!" At this point she crumpled up my lab orders and threw them in the trash. I told her I needed that back, she retrieved it and gave it to me still crumpled up. I left and went to EVDI who DID NOT even ask for any type of copay. They were very pleasant, accommodating, and kind. SimonMed, you can take a flying leap as you will never see me, my friends and family again. Your people need training in CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more
