We were reuniting with a friend we hadn't seen in nearly a decade and we couldn't have picked a better spot to catch up. Two bottles of white later we nearly finished the butter service and enjoyed some escargot and their steak frites. We threw in a chopped salad and finished it off with their caramel dessert that somewhat resembled a tiramisu. Upon lifting the cylinder sleeve the delicious and light caramel sauce pours over the cake with crunch chocolate nibs sprinkled on top. Looking forward to trying their dinner menu when we visit again.

The service here is always top-tier, which is exactly why we always request our favorite waiter Mike, whenever we dine here. Once again, he went above and beyond, making the night extra special by surprising me with two birthday desserts! The manager Carlos, was also incredibly attentive and took great care of us throughout the evening, ensuring everything was flawless. As for the food, it was spectacular. We started with the meatballs a must try, and for the main event, We had the Bone-in Dry-Aged Prime Sirloin topped with truffle butter incredibly flavorful and cooked to absolute perfection. Pair it with the corn crème brûlée sweet and savory side dish. Incredible food, unmatched hospitality, and the perfect place to celebrate. Thank you, Mike and Carlos!

Food: I got the burger and it was indeed a hit cause Im not a big fan of red Cabbage. However when I tried it, I love the taste it brings to the meat and cheese. I would also say that the sauce was amazing with it being in the right amount while covering everything. The fries could be better but definitely passed the required test of crispiness. Ambiance: You will find a lot of seating so you dont need to worry about finding a place where to eat. Service: after you order at the counter you get a device that will tell when your food is ready. All you need to do is go and pick it up

We walked down to the lower level of the market and found a space that felt more like a neighborhood butcher and farmstand than the surrounding food vendors, with display cases filled with different cuts of meat, sausages, charcuterie, and prepared items. The room had a practical, welcoming energy with a layout that accommodated both quick stops and slightly longer visits, and the combination of a working butcher counter and a hot food menu made it feel like a place where we could either grab a meal or take something home to cook. The hot dog was the standout item for us. We ordered one and found it with a great snap when biting into it, the casing giving way to a firm texture and a flavor that tasted noticeably different from a typical processed hot dog. The size was generous, filling the bun well without feeling overwhelming, and the toppings like onions and sauerkraut added a nice contrast. It was the type of simple item where the quality of the ingredients made the difference, and the preparation felt intentional without trying to overcomplicate the dish. Beyond the hot dog, the menu offered a variety of meat-focused options including burgers, brisket sandwiches, pastrami, roasted chicken, and charcuterie. The burger was another strong choice, keeping things simple while letting the quality of the meat stand out. We also appreciated that the shop gave us the option to explore different cuts and specialty products, making it easy to pick up something unique whether we were eating there or bringing something home. The atmosphere fit well with Chelsea Market's busy energy. Seating could be limited depending on how crowded the market was, so it was better suited for a casual meal rather than a long dining experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service moved quickly despite the constant flow of people walking through the market. The team handled the steady stream of customers with efficiency, and the food came out hot and well assembled. Overall, Dickson's Farmstand Meats is a great stop for anyone who appreciates well-made meat dishes and quality ingredients. The hot dog alone makes it worth visiting, but the variety of butcher shop offerings and prepared foods give plenty of reasons to return. It feels like a place that combines the experience of a traditional butcher shop with the convenience of a popular NYC food destination.

You know how there are certain foods and smells that just make you start salivating immediately?…read more Well, the thought of the sandwiches at Meat House do that to me. The first time I went, I had their Supreme BLT. The name sounds a bit lofty and is perhaps a bit pedestrian to some, but I have to say, it's far and above the best version I've ever had. Thick warm bacon, cool lettuce and tomatoes, avocado, and a delicious garlicky aioli. I ate it in my car and must have been a real sight to see, because I practically made love to that thing. It was that good. The second time I went, I opted for their Cuban. Again, the best version of that sandwich I've ever had. This thing was like an orgasm on bread. I don't even know where to start, but suffice it to say that all the ingredients were exploding like a symphony of savory wonder. Thank goodness no one filmed me eating it, that would definitely have been embarrassing. On top of the incredible sandwich menu at Meat House, they also offer a pretty impressive assortment of groceries, a custom salad bar, fantastic butcher counter with steaks and chops galore, beer and wine, etc. Sort of feels like a specialty market on steroids. I highly recommend a visit, particularly for one of their epic sandwiches!

At incredible prices, this shop is certainly one to visit for pantry staples alone.
