Ossobuco overpriced $38 for 3 pieces and mostly bones.

The seems ok but Overpriced and not trust worthy. Bought veal osocuco and was mostly bones.

    Castle Cheese

Absolutely outstanding! The quality of the food , the friendliness of the staff and owner, the consideration and attention to detail makes me so happy that small businesses like this exist in my community! The meats are fresh and delish! Hands down some of the best smoked meats in town. The owner recommended the "castle" cheese - A soft cheese from Portugal. This is the absolutely the most perfect accompaniment to the smoked meats!

    Very nice NY strip steaks

I was looking for something special for Father's Day. A treat I wouldn't normally give myself, you…read moreknow a little decadence to feed my foodie soul. I have been craving a dry aged steak for awhile now. This is the kind of steak you can't get at your local supermarket or even your neighborhood butcher. So to the trusty web I turned and in Google I found a couple options. I narrowed my selection down to StrassBurger Steaks. Their website had the goods a Foodie Father like me was looking for. With a lineage of over 150 years in the Steak business how could this selection not be the right one? I turned to my trusted advisor in these matters (YELP,) and to my surprise StrassBurger had only 1 review with 1 star and to top it off, the reviewer lives in the same state and city. Now this reviewer, from what I could tell was on a similar mission as me. The negative part of their review had to do with the delivery of the goods (from the minimal critique offered) so I did what every loyal Yelp user would do, I backed out. But I couldn't get those images out of my head. Those steaks looked so good! I searched around my local area to satisfy my craving. Alas I only found what I would describe as mediocre offerings, it was then I decided I was going to give StrassBurger Steaks a shot. I placed my order for bone-in rib steaks and a tomahawk. I made sure I would be at home to receive the delivery, like junky waiting for a fix. 16 hours later my doorbell sang the sweet songs of a FedEX delivery. I tore into the package like a child on Christmas morning, eager to inspect the goods. To my surprise, or should I say my joy, the steaks were a cool 40.0 °F a mear 8.0 °F from freezing. I know because I used a digital meat thermometer to check, since the previous review stated the warmth of the goods, but in my case everything was perfect! So with the goods in hand, I was off to the next stage in my plan. How to cook these bad boys? I decided I would go the extra step and do some reading. For the meal I came up with: * Simply seasoned with sea salt and pepper * Sear the steaks on the BBQ to get a nice crisp crust to seal in the juices * Finish them off in the oven in an old cast iron pan * Add sides Hasselback potato and garlic butter sauteed Porcini mushrooms * Homemade Bearnaise sauce I am starting to salivate while I write this as the memories of endorphins being released come flooding back. To get to the point, these were in fact the best steaks I HAVE EVER MADE. I like to think it's the attention to the details, but I can't take all the credit. Each bite of steak literally melts in my mouth. When you have such a solid base to start with, you really can't go wrong. I can without a doubt recommend ordering steaks from StrassBurger and have recommended these fine purveyors of bovine bliss to my friends and family. Like with all things in life I am glad I went this my gut instinct here and placed this order. Had I just gone with the single bad review, I would have missed out on one of the best steak dinners I have ever had. I could honestly say these steaks were on point with fancy steak houses like Ruth Chris and would order again without hesitation. Attached are photos of my journey. Happy Fathers day!

Prices are unbeatable, a 7in sandwich is between $6-$8 which is perfect for lunch as well as the hot food also. They don't cheap out on how much they give you either, the sandwich pictured below was only $8. Great bread. The meat is super fresh. The place does get packed by they move people along pretty quickly. Inside they have everything you need to go with anything you buy. My absolute favorite place to get a sandwich from in the area. It's very small inside so you cannot eat there.

So of course I didn't find out that they messed up the order until I got all the way to Belleville to eat it. So I called them to complain and they said, "Sorry, hopefully next time, what can I tell you?"?! You can make good on it is what you can do, so now I'm going to another option instead. Bye-bye Luigi's. Money is tight right now, and I just wasted it. Done. What a shame. Wasn't exactly a complicated request: "sausage and pepper parm sub, no onions, light marinara". ‍

Maybe a dry aged burger grilled over cherry wood, topped with sautéed mushrooms then finished with truffle salt. A true steakhouse experience right from your own kitchen. The legendary pantheon of beef for 90 years, Pat LaFreida has got you covered. It's all about the ground cow. While their signature burger and brisket burger blends are solid the standouts: --Short rib burger - Black angus short rib, brisket, chuck, shoulder clod; stunning. Extremely moist with pronounced sweet beefy characteristic only found in the short rib. --Dry aged burger - Chuck, brisket, shortrib and 30-50 day dry aged prime rib trimmings; sweet Jesus! All the beefy sweetness you expect from an outstanding burger with the nutty, bleu cheese funk and umami supercharged finish. Burgers sold preformed, Four 6oz patties and vacuumed sealed. Prices as of this review range from $15.95 - $24.20. Steaks? All USDA Prime and at the top end of the grading scale. Very well trimmed with fine marbling throughout. Deep veins of fat separate muscles. It keeps the steak plenty moist but it will require cutting some away post cooking. Sold by the inch (thickness). The two inch porterhouse (aprox 32oz) is excellent. Average $40/lb. 30 day dry aged versions of the classic steakhouse cuts also offered and are a better deal with their more concentrated beef flavor. Nutty, bleu cheese funk is present but mild. Denser, more concentrated flavor, equally juicy with less liquefied fat when cooked than the regular prime. The 2" thick bone in strip or bone in rib steak is where it's at. Average $45/lb. Veal, pork, lamb and sausages all on offer. None sampled. It's about the beef. A minimum of 2 steaks or packs of burgers required. Shipping via FedEX next day. $50-$100. Make a sizable order to spread the "love". Multiple orders over the years. Never any problems with ordering, shipping, packaging or delivery to Hawaii. Top tier steakhouses with outdoor dining are hard to find so why not put on some pants, pour yourself a drink as the wine breathes and overindulge (for half the cost) in your own home?
