After waiting an hour for a table on a…read moreSunday night, I was very pleased with the food, the service, and the atmosphere in the restaurant. And the price (29 euros) is pretty great! Once you're finally inside, the staff is super nice and efficient (it helps having only a few things on the menu), and the salad is very refreshing after waiting so long to eat. The house red wine is very good, too. The steak comes rare, medium, or well done. If you usually go for medium-rare like I do, I recommend going rare. It was perfectly pink on the inside but still had a good bite. The steak is excellent, and the sauce is to die for. And the French fries? Out of this world. It may seem a little gimmicky that they refill your plate, but you'll be so happy with how good the food is, it doesn't matter. I used the fries to scrape the plate clean. I was sadly too stuffed to try the dessert, but it looked fantastic. Definitely recommend getting to the restaurant before they open and waiting out the line -- the steak and fries are more than worth it!

I am changing my mind by 2 stars. Its a gimmick but I enjoyed it. Sitting outside in Paris with a thin little piece of steak with a very nice sauce with some french fries soaking up all of the (everything) is not a bad way to spend a night. Oui?

We opted to eat indoors, while outdoors seating was available and the weather definitely allowed, I just wasn't feeling my best and didn't want to get cold. I tried the fish that was on their special menu, and a glass of Riesling which paired very well with the fish. My mom opted in to get the gnocchi pasta dish and that was also phenomenal. While it looked very touristy and was on the Main Street on Champs-Elysees but it was filled with locals. Which ones we made the right choice

The staff are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. The desserts, especially the mille-feuille, were a highlight. While the dishes are well-prepared, some items felt a little pricey for the portion size, so keep that in mind. The interiors are stunning, rich wood paneling, sparkling chandeliers, and walls adorned with portraits of cinema legends create a timeless, glamorous feel. A bonus for fashion lovers: for girls who love to shop, Louis Vuitton is just across the street, so you can combine a chic Parisian dinner with some luxury window shopping or a little retail therapy

Sit at the counter to get the full experience of watching the kitchen staff do their thing. Our waiter explained the menu, suggested we could do 3 starters each, or a traditional starter and entree. We opted with the 6 starters, planning to share them all. First was an amuse bouche. It paired perfectly with the glass of champagne we started with. We then chose our dishes. The sea bream carpaccio was amazing, delicate and citrusy. That came with the scallops, two scallops sitting on a celery root puree, with truffle. Then we had the pig trotters, and the langoustine ravioli with food gas sauce. The trotters were amazing with a pickled cabbage, delicate sauce and shaved Comte. (My husband was skeptical of this one, but ate most of it!) . The langoustine dish was delicious. The foie gras sauce was delicate and not overpowering . Finally we had the lamb, and the chicken gyoza with Parmesan and smoked duck. Again, delicious. The sommelier was a great help with the wine. We started with a glass of champagne. Mine was a glass of Sauvignon blanc, and we shared a bottle of Pinot Noir. A glass of Gewürztraminer paired perfectly with the dessert of crème caramel, served with warm, lemony madeleines. You cannot go wrong.

We were seated at the end of the counter despite nobody else being there. That being said, service was attentive (not sure if they still have but had 1 star at the time) and timely. I started with the octopus carpaccio. Everything worked so well together and the octopus was extremely tender and not rubbery at all. A perfect start. For my main, I had the veal chop. Cooked and seasoned perfectly, this was a delicious piece of meat. It was a good portion too. Finally, dessert was I have no idea what it was. It looked cool, but that's about all it had going for it. Despite that, the starter and main were as close to perfect as you can get and I highly recommend this spot.

It was early about 6:00 and very few customers. We were seated without reservation, by 7 this place was jumping surely u would need one by then. Charming restaurant but they pack u in a little tight. Seems like this is standard in Paris. Customer Service Julien out waiter was the best. Very attentive and friendly, no rushing. Little language problem but I pointed to menu and he helped me pick my entree. He was great. Assortment of cheese Very good Rigatoni with truffle sauce topped with shaved cheese Did not look like much but the truffle sauce had rich flavor. Veal chop with chanterelle mushrooms and mashed potatoes. Wow never tasted anything like these beautiful flavors. Going to make this dish at home. Brioche French toast with salted butter caramel and ice cream. Too sweet for me but delicious, my honey loved it. Plating Lots of pride here. If I am ever in Paris in Avenue De Champs Elysees I would come here again u should to. This was a perfect dining experience. I would rate this place a 10 if I could.

THE FOOD ------------------…read more+ Escargot/Extra large Burgundy Snails - Fantastic! Lots of flavor and addictively so good. Use the complimentary bread to sop up the oils! = French Onion Soup - Ehhh just OK. Tasted like just your average French Onion Soup. + Duck Confit - Duck leg was delicious and tender with lots of gravy. Scalloped potatoes were a great side for it. + Beef Bourguignon - Phennnnomenal. Arrived in a clay pot and the beef was so tender and flavorful. Stewed potatoes and carrots were also in the au jus and flavorful too. Wish I had something (other than the bread) to soak it up! + Lasagna Bolognese - Tried a littttle bit of it and it was solid. Can't say it was much different than other good bolognese dishes I've had, but it was good. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + Seated quickly for our Sunday evening resy. - Food took a litttttle too long to arrive. + Waiter was very friendly. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ + Small restaurant, but has quite a few tables inside and noticed that parties without a reservation were still immediately seated. + Was busy for a Sunday evening at 5:30-7 PM, but there was always a open table or 2.
