If you're looking to repair a chip in your windshield, I highly recommend Above All Glass. I…read moreunfortunately had a second chip in about five months, and the first time around I went through my insurance company, who sent out one of those big companies we've all heard of. While they got the job done, I wasn't 100% happy with the results. This time, I decided to do my due diligence and shop around. A local mobile glass company couldn't come out for several weeks, and another shop I contacted told me the chip wasn't repairable. Then I found Above All Glass. They gave me a very reasonable quote and, best of all, said they could take care of it right away. I drove down to the shop, and they had the chip repaired in about 20 minutes. The best part? I literally can't even see where the chip used to be! I'm so glad I went with Above All Glass. Everyone was friendly, professional, and clearly takes pride in their work. And honestly, being able to support a small local business instead of a big corporation is always a win in my book. If you have a windshield chip that needs repair, give Above All Glass a call. You won't regret it!

I just had my windshield replaced by Glass America. The repair/replacement went like clockwork. The…read moretech was ready when I arrived. I was told it would take two hours (some of that time is waiting for the sealant to cure so the windshield is permanently attached). I brought some paperwork with me to keep busy while I waited. I went to check once to see how things were going. The custom tools for this job are pretty cool! They precisely attach a thing with a pin on the top (think of a pin that slides through a hinge) to the upper side of your car. Its matching component is attached to your new windshield. The tech lifts up your windshield and slides the hinge onto the pin. Bingo! He can now swing the windshield into place with the specialized holder carrying the weight. This is one tech working on his own! I left him to his work and kept busy until he said "It's done!" The windshield looks great. Glass America was recommended by State Farm Insurance. That saved me time because I didn't have to call around and hope that I picked the right company to get this work done.

As most people experience driving down the road, rocks fly up and chip your windshield. Ernie and his worker have been able to fill in the chips but on occasion, I don't get to them quick enough the crack spreads which has made me replace the windshield twice already. He accepts insurance, but for me my windshield is cheaper than what my insurance pays, so I pay out of pocket. My windshield deductible is $500. My windshield replacement has been $300. I called 3 places who wanted insanely over $1K to replace and recalibrate my windshield. Most new cars have the electronic box for lane assist, cruise control sensors and heated steering wheel on the box mounted on your windshield. Well, here's the thing, having worked with many computer systems, shouldn't things get reset when you unplug and plug them back in? Why does anything need to be recalibrated from a hard restart? Mr. Pink's does not charge for that. Replace the glass, mount and replug in the electronic mount. Everything works great. Just as it did before the pinecone pounding. My new windshield was done and set in 2 hours. You guys rock, are honest, and don't rob people blind...especially women.
